Dagmar Krause - Pavel's Prison Song (Bertolt Brecht, The Mother/Die Mutter, music by Hanns Eisler)

The English translation below (by Lee Baxandall, taken from 1965 US edition) is quite different from the one recorded by Dagmar Krause on her 'Supply & Demand' album (Hannibal Records, 1986), for I couldn't find the exact lyrics on the Internet. It is followed by Russian translation of the same song from the play made by Serguey Tretyakov (M., Искусство, 1963).
