I'm upgrading from a Mavic Pro 1 to a Mini 3 with RC-N1 and was wondering if I could do these actions: • Fn + Gimbal wheel: Adjust EV or Exposure • Change to portrait mode quickly (Using the controller or the phone, either is fine as long as it is one or two presses away) Thank you!
You should be able to use some of the programmable functions to do so. I apologize I can not do a video on this one any longer. I no longer have that controller. If you can afford it I do highly recommend the DJIRC.
@@AlToneTech Thank you! I was leaning towards the RC-N1 because I'd need my phone to download the footage anyway. Having a closer look, there are fast shorcuts for EV compensation and portrait mode so it wouldn't be that bad. I had a mavic pro 1 and loved that controller, it'd be nice if DJI offered a small and light controller again.

I want to buy the mini 3 as soon as it comes out and there will be (following the rumors) the option to get it either with the RC-N1 controler or the RC Controler with a display. Since I want to take it mainly on hiking trips the weight is a very important factor for me to decide which one I am going to choose. Thank you so much for this!

@@AlToneTech Why is that controller so heavy beats me. If I compare it to original Mavic Pro controller it feels like a toy. They even cut down on functions buttons and wheal selection available. Not happy.
@@lee8org I am sure the battery is the majority of the weight. I have not ever had a Mavic 2 so I would not be able to compare it. I’m sorry you have a bad experience. Not having tried any other controllers as of yet I like it. I look forward to trying out the new DJI RC Shortly!
Hi, just wondering if there’s a way to flip the controls on circle dial on the left hand side bottom of the controller when I go right the camera goes up and vise versa is there a way to flip this in the settings???
🔴 with my remote off when i plug it in to charge the first light flashes a few times then stops charging. why cant i get my remote to charge. i just bought it today, its brand new
I am truly sorry to hear that. It sounds like there may be an issue with the controller. DJI is very good with honoring the warranty. Please reach out to DJI Support. Sense it is new there should be no problems getting support.

I just checked and I do not see anywhere in the settings to change it.

From my understanding DJI has not added comparability to connect the MINI 2 SE to this controller.
