Yeah does look great on you, but if you never wear it, I’d make another jumpsuit with all your changes and then with the original re-master into separates. A jacket and pants would work well 🕸
That catsuit looks stunning! Love the embroidery. I'm familiar with the dissapointment if a garment doesn't fit absolutely perfect. Us sewers can be way too hard on ourselves!
Ii mean double sided ness But I can imagine it takes both sides of the mind to focus on that 😅 Anyways, a very cool concept I also love the bell bottoms and I usually kind of hated them But the ridiculousness of them and also puffy sleeves are just too appealing for some reason 🙄😁
🕸️ We are our worst critics for sure since we spend more time with the projects. I love it on you! I was knitting a sweater with only 1 sleeve left to do and frogged the whole thing to start over because I didn't like the fit at the top yoke. I totally get it lol
Usually artists are critical of their projects ❤. I love how it turned out. You could honestly add a draped sleeve on it and add some length. Like a Stevie Nick's sleeve that would be cool. ❤ I'm diggin it. I 9ne kinda like this when I was younger but it had holes down the sleeve and possibly the legs I ended getting rid of alot of my clothing when I younger. I guess we just did that and didn't know any better back then. I love it.
🕸🕸🕸🕸 It looks great!!! I'm overly critical about all my projects, especially the clothing. I'll find every flaw, and my husband will not see any of them, even after I've pointed them out lol
I love it! The batwing shapes and spiderweb embroidery definitely make it a next-level art piece. I loved the shirt you did with a batwing collar so much that I stole the idea for my niece's vampire-princess Halloween costume; the standing collar and sleeve flounces were batwing edged. She loved it, of course! I wouldn't worry about the fit-nit-picks too much. Commercial clothes rarely fit perfectly, afterall. I think the easiest way to cheat a longer sleeve would be to replace the cuffs with longer ones, which gives you the opportunity to add embroidery there, too.
I absolutely live the embroidery on this one! I also think separating top and pants, or just reusing the embroidered parts on another jumpsuit could work very well, as someone else pointed out here. I honestly can't believe how u don't have so much more abos and views! Ur content is so high quality imo!
This is absolutely adorable! 🕸️ I have been there with the feelz when you both love and are annoyed with a finished project. 🫤 Pockets: I mostly wear skirts and I make my pocket tall enough to sew the top into the waist band on all of them. This makes the weight of the pocket contents hang from the waist, not the side seam. Could you extend the top of this pocket so that it could sew in with the tie ends but still sit where you need them to be?
Honestly I just need to move the elastic down which would also move the tie ends and front pickets down with it. The issue is the way I finished my seams would make that hard and I risk destroying the fabric and fit.

Honestly not a bad idea to turn it into seperates. I love the thought of a lil jacket situation from this

Maybe putting the embroidering last
as the cobwebs -
( icing ) on the cake
Btw love the double mindedness of it, very elegant

I'm my worst critic by far. I get stuck in the details and then can't see it as a whole anymore.
IT'S FRIKIN BATS AND I LOVE IT🦇💜🦇
I also use a silver pen on my black sewing projects.
It washes right out and is just easier to see 🖤
I think it turned out awesome! The spiderweb embroidery was so detailed and beautiful!
Thank you!

Omg, I love it🕸!
So excited for this!!
It looks great on you. Perhaps if you make another one, you could start the flare closer to the hip for more flow?

This is so cute!!! Do you think adding ruffles/lace to the sleeve ends would make the sleeves feel better?
Say hello to the cats, please.
