Hey, I paused towards the beginning to mention another channel you might like for some inspiration, Another Dream Gone West. I think you'll really dig some of her content. OK, back to the your video...
I loved my yolked 1970's shirts ! 💓🫦 all the way . Y'all younger set, just a FYI. Don't let those 1970's shows tell you what we were wearing back then. It was mostly what you'd see if you look into those 2970's music videos of live performances . Not Charlie's Angels 😂
I do wonder sometimes if what I make was ever actually a common cut of that time or if im just finding the stuff no one wanted because I thrift it all 😂 but I feel like I make it work! Always fun to put my own spin on them too 😁
RUclips has recommended your channel to me a couple times and today this video gets you a sub!! I ADORE the sleeves, big poofy sleeves are LIFE. the neckline is absolutely darling as well.
The dress is soooo stinking cute!! The 70s has some really fun silhouettes (I have a pattern from the 70s myself) and this one is super super cute especially with the insertion lace 🖤🖤
turned out great! love the bat sunglasses! congrats on 2k!!! also would love if you would link pervious videos when you wear things that you've made previously on the channel so it makes it easier for me to re-watch those videos!
Congrats on the milestone!!! And the shirt came out perfectly, it's really pretty (and it has puffy sleeves!!!!), you look great in it - honestly I thought the sligthly dropped shoulders were intentional 😅
I don’t know that I’m brave enough to try the insertion lace, as absolutely stunning as it is, but I definitely need to try making a shirt like otherwise. It looks so nice and comfy and if I can make it okay without lace, maybe that’ll give me the courage for a second shirt with lace ~ ❤
If pattern have seam allowances added to it you can cut the seams allowances and the shirt should be smaller if you be use it again. You be needed new seam allowences that further will smaller the sizes of the pattern. But you need cheak amounts of allowences to not make it to small.
This is super cute! Do you have any channel recommendations for someone who is completely new to sewing? I feel myself getting kind of lost watching a lot of these and the Bernadette vids. I'm not sure if I'm looking at the wrong channels or the wrong videos on the channels. 😅
I started with Bernadette Banner, Morgan Donner, and Rachael Maksy, and from watching those girls others were recommended to me. They all taught me very different things but I tried to at least grasp some of the concepts they shared and use them in my own way. Hope it helps!
I've been getting the same error on PC, but it seems it was caused by the Discord app being unable to start. So I launched Discord manually and afterwards I was able join using the link. Hope this helps you as well!
*Anne Shirley voice* PUFFED SLEEVES 😍😍😍
This turned out really really lovely! Late 60s and early 70s gone goth is one of my favorite vibes. Great job!
Yes! Thank you!
I love Bernadette Banner. And the shirt looks amazing. Keep up the good work, and congrats on 2k!! 🤍🦇
Ahh congratulations on the 2k subscribers! The shirt turned out super cute! Those sleeves are EVERYTHING 🎃

Very nice! That back came out so cool with the lace!
Congratulations 🎉! That shirt is everything!
I absolutely love it. I’m a little amazed the sleeves took so much fabric and weren’t even bigger than that lol

🎃This vid kept being suggested to me and I am glad that for once YT's algorithm got it right. This was a joy to watch. :}

You can do it!
I also watched that video and thought it would look great in black and it does! (I never made it because it’s not something I would actually wear)
Everything looks good in black 💅✨️
love this so much :D

Trying to join the discord and it's giving me an invalid error! Love the shirt, look amazing on you!!
thanks for letting me know! try this discord.gg/WjrutCJG
I've been getting the same error on PC, but it seems it was caused by the Discord app being unable to start. So I launched Discord manually and afterwards I was able join using the link. Hope this helps you as well!
Unsolicited info: if you have a black iron straight stitch machine, the edge stitching attachment does joining the strips of lace admirably.
Thanks for the tip!
