@@msm3150 well technically they started it with that Fist of The North Star game on the PS4, at least given a lot of JP voices playing several characters like Kiryu as Kenshiro for example
I loved the ps2 version I owned it a while back but it would freeze during the jail fight scene just before the fight started and I had to watch the rest on yt sadly but it was a great gam
Fun fact : goro majima in dub voiced by joker aka luke star wars
Woah English voice actors were robots or what
I like how they with respect treated source material that comparring new and old even with big improvments in kiwami older version don't need fell shame what is loot comparring times where it was realesed
How detail and freedom is the Yakuza series? If comparing it to Grand Theft Auto series and Saint's Row series
You have far less freedom in Yakuza in comparison with GTA. Saints I didn't played.
far less and way more at the same time, for general exploration, the map is only a few blocks big, but It's filled with side activities, side quest, and minigames
The only thing I really don't like PS2 is the background sound for the city, is the same sound on a really short loop, it gets annoying once you notice it.
Great remake. I just wish it still has an English dub like the original. I get a lot of fans only play on japanese dub but I would argue there are also a lot of players who prefer their games in English regardless where they take place.
No I'm fine with it in Japanese
I have a different take. For quality and believable voice acting, I would say the Japanese audio would be my pick. However if I prefer to focus on the visuals (this goes for video games, anime, and foreign films), then I'll turn on the english dub.
2:43 💀
original majima looks like zombie majima
this game one is so !!! underrated
Underrated? How come they have game remake and tons of sequel??
@@keyandraalakso139 The first one is considered underrated, lots of underrated games get remakes when the series becomes popular
The game's slowly gaining popularity. Yakuza as a franchise was already somewhat popular and really well received in Japan, but it wasn't until like 2017 when the translated version of 0 that Yakuza starting getting popular elsewhere also because it may or may not be the best game in the series so far
very cool difference
Can you Unzip it with Winrar? I wanna download this Emulator but I don't have 7zip. Is it possible to have Winrar and 7zip on the same Computer?
Si, pero para que quieres trece los 2 con el 7zip es suficiente 😬🌚
Lol I just found out that kiwami stands technically for remake xD
really cool
English Kiryu sounds like Agent 47 lmao
Keep it up remake looks more tougher than original and fast....
Of course its 2005 game
@@amy-295 that doesnt mean anything. Most remakes are easier.
the original looks surprisingly good for a ps2 game
Every time i look at the original I just think to myself "i can't believe I played this" after having played 0 and kiwami 2 soon after
I'd believe it, seeing as the graphics still hold up for a PS2 game despite Kiwami having far better graphics. Good gameplay will always beat out the graphics though, as graphics aren't nearly as important as the game itself and how it handles.
@@BlueMoonXtreme i cant stand the new gen kids prioritizing visuals over the most important thing: gameplay. why we enjoy games, to have fun
Yakuza kiwami graphics are still good to this day idc
Those english dubs are a part of my permanent memory at this point.
OMG, its John Yakuza!
I like the remastered how he sound in japan
Yes indeed kiryu the Japanese voice acting is alot better
I only have a PS2, so I can only play Yakuza (original) & Yakuza 2
I love those Kazuma Kiryu models, they look stunning and cool to me. But when I saw the other Yakuza series Kazuma models, I was like *BLEEHHH*
Probably it's because I played too many times of Yakuza & Yakuza 2 and I was used to the look of Kazuma in those two games :(
@desolatesock probably... (;´∀`)
Man, i remember had to hold the english dub just to finish the first game.
And thank god the second already had japanese voice.
