Interesting shout out for Clear Prop! I bought a Dora Wings kit, after much deliberating between Minart, Clear Prop! and Dora Wings at the store. So many great kit manufacturers from Ukraine 🤩
Hello Peter, how dare you interesting youtube modellers fraternize!!!!! Ill let you off if you give me a WingNut Kit he he. Saw one in the flesh at a model kit stall at the De Havilland air musuem. Small but funky. A must see. Keep up the good work fellows. Very likeable chaps :-)
Hi Jamie, that was a great video in support of Clear Prop, I must buy a one of those kits or at least a kit from a Ukrainian company, bestvregards from a Kiwi living in Australia 👍👍👍👍
Hi Jamie Thanks for summarizing Clear Prop so well. Having the whole Seasprite family and flogger family with all goodies, i can only agree with you. One thing i also like very much are the quality of the clear parts, which is very very nice👍 Being one of the focal points on a model, other companies sometimes misses the high quality in clear parts. Clear parts are the first thing i look for in a new kit. Combined with magnifiers, test fitting, care and patience they will be small jewels in any display cabinet🙂 Clear Prop deserves all our love and attention. Best wishes from Denmark
I like the different types they have in their inventory, not that there is anything wrong with a p-51d or bf-109g but it is nice to see well-made kits in multiple scales of aircraft that are not so run of the mill, and let's hope this absolutely dreadful, stupid war can come to an end and the Ukrainian people can really start living again, sorry for the rant, great show Jamie.
Awesome review buddy. What an amazing company. Ukrainians sure know what quality is! Didn't know about these chaps till you reviewed them. As you say very,Eduard,Arma Hobby esq. Very enthusiastic review and I love your use of adjectives 😊 (Festooned with rivets!) If you were American you would have said ' super' about 203 times. Apparently there's a shortage of adjectives over there. Cool, super, that's it ha ha. You lead an interesting life, overseas working, your Navy past and a great channel. Thanks again. Like the Hawk in the background. Bedrock aircraft.
I have several of their kits; 1/72nd Whittle (E28/39), I-16, the new fabulous DH-9 (two actually) and the 1/32 D.500 which is possibly my favourite pre-war aircraft. The Whittle is a bit fiddly if you are putting their lovely resin engine in. Their plans down the road include Norseman, Fairey Delta and I think a DHC Beaver, a lot to look forward to. Ebat Putin (trs: eff that guy). Cheers!
I have built a couple of Sweet 144th kits and they set the standard for detail in that scale....that was until Clearprop released the Sonia! The Sweet kits have great external detail but zero cockpit detail. The cockpit in the Clear Prop Sonia puts most manufacturers 1/72 cockpits to shame! Just stunning!
@@thescalemodellingcafe i started mine the other day...then said no and put it back on the shelf....i must finish the other 7 started kits before I start more 🤣
I recently bought one of the MiG-23 kits and it is really as good as you say. Clear Prop produce three resin and brass accesories sets. One is for the engine exhaust can and afterburner, another one is for an ejection seat and the third one for wheels.
Possible the best but they have some stiff competition with Wingsy and Miniart. Most of the kits I'll be buying this year come from Ukraine, they do such good kits and while Dora Wings aren't in this top tier of kits quality wise, they are producing types no one else is touching.
Miniart and ICM are better to me. They are great. But some companies there are really good considering what's going on there, one of the guys who does box art for several companies was killed, and another who works for one of the Ukrainian companies was killed too by a missile strike in kiev. Talk about putting out models and duress at the same time.

It does seem to be a hot bed of exceptional manufacturers!
Totally agree with you, Jamie. 👍🏻
It's hard not to like them mate. About time you did one on your channel, although I see ICM are going to be keeping you busy for a while!
Their Skyshark is also just amazing.

What a great product range , that MiG23 looks amazing , can’t wait to see the sprue tour
It's lovely!

You won't be disappointed Les

A good collection mate, lots of exciting things to come
Hi Jamie another good video, I must take a look cheers Liam
Thanks Liam

I'm building the 144 Sonia as we speak!

I built the Hasegawa 1/72 Sonia, it was a favourite build. I do like the look of their 1/72 Sonia and their 1/48 Bloch's (Oops that's Dora Wing's)
You really need to get the Clear Prop kit, its amazing!
Cheers Jamie.

I've got all of those items, they are lovely!
Ive seen the name and always thought they made clear discs representing a turning propeller for different kits.
Not this lot mate!

Dora kits are still better than all but the most recent Special Hobby........and just like SH they produce some incredible subjects!
Some amazing stuff coming out of Ukraine.
They look stunning. I really must have a go at their 1/48 Skyshark; only because it looks like a Wyvern on steroids!!!!
It's a phenomenal kit mate
And you haven't seen their A2D Skyshark in 1/48 and OV-1 Mohawk in 1/72... :)
Not in the flesh but they look amazing on the screen

That's awful to hear. 😪
I prefer Clear Prop, one of the main reasons is rivets, saves me a big job.
That's very sad, let's hope they can win soon.
Decals are by Decagraph........
Yes they are, thanks Paul
That's what happens when you privatise something like postal services
It's annoying for sure
