@@halatiny6537 Yes! Impulsive thoughts are what Link has, as well as impulsive actions. Intrusive thoughts are experienced by people with mental illnesses like OCD, which are distressing actions they would *never* partake in.
I really hate this trend of calling impulsive thoughts “intrusive.” :/

@@Crimson_Knight004 agreed!! i struggle with intrusive thoughts and calling impulsive the wrong name lends itself to others thinking intrusive thoughts aren't as bad as they really are, when they're a complete nightmare to live with. i don't have them as bad as some people do and it is still upsetting.

For anyone wondering, the beak vs beat thing made more sense in context, Rhett was talking about those little drinking bird toys which is why he said what he said. Not sure why Link lost the context, but the result was hilarious.
