@@brownin329 if you paid attention to what Kandi had said, they were done for the night, she had pretty much completed the whole song by the time they arrived at the studio, they were to return the following day to record the song, they were on their way back to the hotel and that was the time she brought up the matter of the split, this was after the work was done, they left the building she was still there when Wanye called up her manager who was standing right beside her so she heard everything that was being said.
The group has a long standing track record of being difficult to work with from other writing partners including Mariah Carey

Mike's not around because Mike ghosted them too many times for too long, and got them sued for breach of contract. He ignored them and their then managers when they tried to contact him to find out what's going on. The whole time he still got paid. He's working doing whatever he does (was dabbling in acting), and collecting royalty checks. I'm not sure what people expected them to do for him .

@@melissajohnson377 Actually they did. They did for years, mainly Nate. When Mike said he was OK to perform again, they were working on having him rejoin the group for their 20th anniversary album. And that was after he lied and advertised a Boyz II Men reunion at one of his shows he put on for New Year's Eve featuring artists he was developing. It sold out, and they knew nothing about it, and weren't even invited to it. They only found out about it when fans that had tickets to their actual show on the opposite side of the country (possibly overseas, I don't remember it's been a long time) asked how to get a refund for their tickets since they were going to be doing the reunion thing at Mike's show on the same night. They had no idea what they were talking about, asked for proof, and were sent fliers and stuff for Mike's reunion event. Nate ended up putting a notice on their site saying don't buy tickets for any show that says they are going to be there if it's not published on their official website. Even after that, Mike was going to be welcomed back to the group. But he wouldn't sign the contract guaranteeing he wouldn't ghost like he did last time, and he didn't like that he wasn't going to be getting paid what he used to get paid when he was active before. So, that got scrapped. Even then they said he would be welcomed back if he decided to do so later, and that no one else will be brought in to replace him if he didn't. They don't keep in touch with him like that now, and haven't for a long time. I would have completely ditched him 20 years ago. So, they're a lot nicer than me.

They stopped performing live last year because of Covid but will be hitting the road in a few months, and will be resuming their residency in Vegas when the Mirage opens back up, and will continue to collect awards for that show as well. In the meantime, he's been getting paid for online performances, getting money from endorsements, developing new talent, if you watch Blackish you'll catch him on there for the season finale, and of course, collecting those royalty checks. Both have more money than I could ever dream of having, so neither will get any sympathy for me on the who's earning money front. I'd gladly take either of their bank accounts.

Petty was real petty by telling Wanya that Kandi said that the guys were nasty towards her. First of all, Kandi never told them (Mr. Eddie Levert and his daughter on his IG live around the same time as Wanya’s Livestream was going to be on or before it) the men were Nasty to her during a disagreement in the studio. She never 👎 said that! Being disrespectful (Kandi said that she had never felt disrespected by an artist in the studio until she had worked with them) and nasty are two different things of Termanology. Even though it was years ago, and Kandi has said that she has hung out with some of the guys since then. She was asked a question, and for the answer to be honest, and she did it. The only thing that she didn’t want to do was tell the whole story of why she felt disrespected. So by Kandi not doing that, some people assume that the group reacted towards her with terrible attitudes and egos for no reason, and that wasn’t cool.

At that time, he was doing something different from what others were doing. If it wasn’t for Nate getting alerts from his google about Kandi talking about the group and he had to contact his brotha (Wanya) about it. Wanya probably wouldn’t have said anything about it or felt that needed to (in my Kandi’s voice ➡️) Speak 🗣 on it. Lol, I’m just saying!

First of all, Kandi wasn't the only person who called them difficult. Dallas Austin said the exact same thing in his VLAD interview, which you can watch. AND, I had to laugh when he said he keeps things on the up and up. It was a long time ago, but him cheating on Brandy with Adina Howard helped to contribute to Adina's WHOLE CAREER being shut down by Sylvia Rhone. I wish Babyface would tell what happened with him & Boyz II Men because THEN you would see that what Kandi said is 100% true! I love their music, but they had a REAL EGO PROBLEM back in the day! Maybe they have been humbled and they are better now, but they can't stand up and HONESTLY say that Kandi was the only one they mistreated or behaved poorly around. That just isn't the case!

Ok so why are they making a big deal about what Kandi said about there attitudes while working with them but they didn't make a big deal about what Dallas Austin said verbatim, word for word about their attitudes towards him and music mogul Babyface? Kandi didn't say anything negative nor exposed them like that for them to be offended. I don't think or believe Kandi would nor need to lie about her experience(s) with other artists. And his wife wasn't there nor was his wife then so she needs to stfu.

I 10000% agree! Or Kandi could speak her truth, but just mention great things about the Boys 2 Men group too so it wouldn't feel like a gut punch. Rule #1: Never respond to a comment ppl say was said about you unless you have actually heard the comment with your own ears to verify it. He let these folks hype him up to fire back on Kandi when was she said wasn't even mean. But had he first did a little HW and watched what she said about them, he probably would of let it go over his head. Plus, Kandi ain't the only person that has said they were hard to work with. Dallas Austin said the same exact thing as well. Kandi hasn't been doing hard work in music by choice. She's focusing on getting her acting career off the ground. What Kandi shoulda did in response to this was challenge him to put up a side-by-side pic of those back acct balances and let the money do the talking.

Yeah this was embarrassing on Wanya’s part. Had he watched Kandi’s interview, he probably would’ve agreed that the collaborative process simply wasn’t the best. The shade at her career and talent was petty and unnecessary... especially when YOU chose to work with her based on her track record with hits for TLC, Destiny’s Child and Pink. And that “Good Guy” track is actually still a bop. And another producer already said Boyz ll Men is difficult to work with and are basically divas.

I see both sides. I think B2M started at the top, they may not have been used to doing business that way, artist to artist. They were A list and not afraid to show it (keyword were). Kandi was never A list on the music side. Seems like management should have those discussions and negotiations and talk with their artist. Not artist to artist for reasons such as this. It could have all been avoided. And tbh, if I get in the studio with Mariah Carey, I'm not gonna ask about money. They were right to call her manager. I'm not arguing with hired help about money, talk to your manager who hired YOU!

Well, the situation with Shape of You is a little more complicated. Her and Tiny retroactively received credit for it because of its similarity No Scrubs, but overall I agree with your point.

The reason why Kandi has been blessed with wealth is because she is nice to her mother(most imp), nice to all ppl, has a good work ethic and has been screwed over by others( another example is her fellow housewife who refused to pay for the song Kandi composed which she went on to get money out of). It is a proven fact that God compensates those who are screwed over by others. Who knows if Boys to men even paid Kandi?

First off, you don't have to go very far to see he's lying. Nate calls as soon as the interview is about to start, and when Wanya says he's on live (speaker), Nate still goes on to spill tea. That seemed planned/sus. Even if it wasn't, Nate goes on to say, "I want to talk to you about that girl Kandi." Never ONCE did Wanya say, "Who? Who's that?" He knew exactly who Nate was talking about, and didn't seem to be confused about the context. Then when the interviewer piggybacks off Nate saying, "Yeah, we heard about what Kandi said," now Wanya wants to act dumb, talking about "Candice? Who's Candice?" And tries to further shade her like she's not still currently relevant with RHOA, saying Kandi from Xscape. **Nene eyeroll**.
