@@2RealDemon wym 8 cores?? if ur just doing gaming any more than a 4-6 core chip is a waste of money, if productivity is in mind you are leagues better off skipping 8 cores and going straight to a 12+ core cpu. 8 core chips are cope chips lmfao (except the 5800x3D, but thats cus of its cache).

It get wifi, use a PCI-e card or a m.2 card. Upgrading the motherboard might cost more. Plus, it’s not upgradable in the future if there is a faster wifi or if the wifi goes out.
I’ve also never had good luck with USB wifi adapters. Even when they work “well” for me, they’re just slower than a good wifi card.
Just got that DeepCool case in yesterday for my next build except in all black. Very clean build!
For the sake of looks some minor speed and cost compromises were made... Yet I cannot complain.

This pc case is so underrated and great for budget build and I didnt have 1 complaint.
The budget Intel CPU's are a dope value, its the mobo's generally that swing value in AMD's favor. There are some standouts on sale every now and again though.
Yep exactly. Although B450 motherboards aren't as cheap as what they used to be unfortunately.
Both Intel and amd motherboards are expensive right now unfortunately.
You could get a basic b450 board for 50-55$ and the h610 is usually 75$.
But right now even the cheaper b450 are 70$ so let's not even talk about the b550s at 100$.
Even the h610 has climbed slightly to 80-85$ for a basic one.
Which sucks as it really offsets the good price of CPUs right now.

If I didn't have a R5 3600 in storage I just bought a Wi-Fi B550 and got an open box 3060 for a steal. I rebuilt my nephew's PC from his 10400. I already had a x570 Wi-Fi in storage (what the 3600 was in) did bios flashback and dropped a 5600 and 32GB of Silicon Power Turbine 3200MHz. I would have considered Intel 12600 or 12400 and the board would have to have Wi-Fi 6 and support 13th gen. In fact, I have a prebuild Core2Duo that went to Silcon Heaven. I plan to buy a 512GB or 1TB 2.5 SSD a 2TB HDD and 16GB or memory and put the 10400 to max a sleeper it's only a 1650 but I have a 570 8gb I can put in or go onto eBay for a 5600xt. still hunting down an 11gen CPU and b560 for a steal. good build

Newegg isnt a very good source for parts usually. they dont take resposibility for bad shipping, dirty parts, or just staight up broken parts. they also almost double ptices for parts.
I don't get why people hate on Newegg. Maybe I missed something. But I order from them regularly, and have never had any issues. Their prices are competitive depending which parts you're looking for and many have rebates, especially GPUs, no issues with shipping. I received a defective GPU a few months ago(not the fault of Newegg), but the RMA was super simple and they even let me swap it out for a better one that was the same price of the original when I bought it. As for having DOUBLE the price for parts, I've never seen that so I would need specific examples.
Saying that they double prices for parts is just proving that you've never actually shopped there before lol. I buy so many parts from Newegg when they are cheaper than anywhere else.
@@ZachsTechTurf Exactly. I may be out of the loop but I don't understand the hate Newegg gets. I'm also lucky enough to have two Microcenters near me, so between that, Newegg, and Amazon, I've got the best situation in terms of buying parts.

new 3100 would be hard to come by anyways so i would just go for the 3600 or 5600 if you have the budget
Is the 1650 Super used? Check the RX6600 aswell, the price difference isn't much and the 6600 has 8GB VRAM. Or, for used, an RX5500XT is often cheaper than a 1650 Super and is a much newer GPU, also with 8GB VRAM. As for the CPU, don't count out the Ryzen5 4500 or 5500 - they are PCIe Gen 3 but would still be good gaming CPUs for a budget build.
They would pair well however those parts are very bad.

😒👍 i just picked up an i3 100F, its only 20 bucks over the 12th gen, dont forget that the motherboard from 12th gen has to have the bios updated before it will recognize the 13th gen cpu, i keep a spare 12th gen cpu around to update the motherboards but yeah the i3 13gen is a great beater, for gpu go rx 580 or 6500 xt for only 150 usd brand new

Got damn this got uploaded mere hours before I started looking into how to build a pc, excellent timing good stranger
Be aware Intel tend to be a pain in ass to upgrade later since they continuously change the CPU socket type unlike AMD that tend to use the same socket for many years offering you potential to upgrade later. Do not fall for the hype around fps anything over 60 for many games is cool, 100 obviously is better but anything above is just plain OTT unless your on a unlimited budget. 5600 on a B550 mobo and DDR4 is the sweet spot at the moment, the CPU is good and will hold its own against many x3 the price DDR4 is dirt cheap and the B550 offers everything you will need today and for many years to come. WHat kills the cost of anyone buying a new PC is the graphics cards, expect to pay a fortune unless you source second hand. I still use my Vega64 and it does what I need it to do, I do use a decent Seasonic GX 750 PSU (current model) and I just love Fractal cases. I just upgraded (5600x Asus ProArt mobo) from a FX8350 which was 10 years old and to be honest the difference between that and the 5600x is not massive, noticeable but not mind blowing probably cos I am still using my old Vega64 but to upgrade that your looking at £500 which is what the rest of the upgrade cost so doubling the cost !!! yeah these manufacturers see you coming, dont buy into the hype !!

Interesting video. But can an i3 CPU really work as a gaming PC? Even my business laptop is an i7. To be clear, I don't actually play games on my PC, but I do want a PC that will last a long time that won't require upgrades every few year. Some photo/video editing, movie streaming (preferably wi-fi rather than ethernet) is likely to be the extent of my needs. I am willing to put the money up front if it lasts a long time. Any suggestions is appreciated.
The i3 CPUs he recommended here are from the most current generations so they're faster than various other CPUs from older product lines in many cases. They're absolutely good enough for PC gaming and would suit your needs well, if you're hesitant, going up to an i5 12400 or 13400 would probably be the highest you'd need to go with current CPUs

I’m new to pc gaming and I’m upgrading my gpu I’ve watched a few videos but was unclear if I have to delete the drivers from the old gpu first before I upgrade to the new one?
I would delete the driver before you uninstall the old graphics card. Once you do that, install the new card and download and install the drivers for the new card.

Why a 3060Ti when you can get an RX6650XT with a slight performance drop compared to a 3060Ti but save a lot in the process?
