      Why did the stuntman become a director and create a franchise?

    John Wick was written by a guy named Derik Kolstad. And Chad acts like he "created a universe?" He filmed what the writer created. Brought it to life, but he didn't come up with those ideas. He isn't even credited as a writer on any of the movies. Couldn't mention the guy's name once? People understand that everything that happens and every word in a movie that's said comes from the writing, right?

    • @DrLove-ql1wh
      @DrLove-ql1wh Год назад +1

      Did he not mention the writer at all in the whole podcast... Poor show. One thing I will say is that directors have to visualise what is written. It is literally his vision of the writing. They are both as responsible as each other. I do agree writers should get more recognition.

      @@DrLove-ql1wh To be fair, I didn't watch the whole podcast. It's very possible he did. It's also possible he contributed to the script and maybe didn't want credit, which would make him a GREAT guy, but the way he was talking I assumed he wrote the movie and then I looked it up.

      @@antoinettelopes Yeah, now I did, too. Great podcast. Very interesting to learn how different the original script was, too. So there were a lot of changes that I guess he worked with the writer to make, because that's still the only writer credit.
