It is no shock anymore that Raeen has an accelerated survival instinct. It took me about five or six flights to become comfortable. I won't make fun or hold contempt. Raeen is a good guy, he's just no international traveler. Babu has been forced to be braver and take the role of comforter.
Funny how people are so foolish that they don't comprehend how much safer air travel is. The odds of you falling down your stairs at home and dying is 221,670 X more likely than dying in a plane crash. People are getting so weak and scared of their own shadow.
I have flown over 300 times and I STILL hate it every single time.
And also I think it's because Babu has more experience. He endured lots of hardships when he was young and almost committed suicide so he's more experienced in facing fear.
@@konliner9286 I agree, but Babu said that when there was turbulence, he was nervous also. Nevertheless, he was designated by the content creator from the beginning to soothe Raeen (the first conversation about the trip). That's what I meant by 'forced'. Not that he wouldn't have done it anyway.
I'm proud of these men to be taking their first ever international flight! I'm 71 years old and have been flying since I was 5 years old. I LOVE flying, whether it's calm or bumpy up there. I've been on many hundreds of flights in North America, Europe and Asia, and, obviously, between those continents.
Panic Attacks are not fun. You feel like you are going to die. The stress is so high you think your head is going to explode.
And even when you calm down mentally, your body is still full of stress chemicals, adrenaline and the like and feels like calming down didn’t help.

Looked like a pretty turbulant flight. The rough landing even scared Babu. I hope Raeen doesn't give up traveling. He had such a great time in Thailand!

You obviously don't understand their culture. Elders are always to be respected. They also believe that elders not only have a right, but they have a responsibility to correct younger people when they get out of line or are disrespectful. Raeen gets out of line with Babu far more frequently than anyone else and he usually lets most of it slide, but I think even Babu is getting a bit tired of his childishness. @@thekaren1111 Raeen expects people to pander to him. First thing he did in that video was tells Babu off over the food bag. Why couldn’t he pick up the food bag? He sulks, moans, was all over Babu in the plane and acts like a child. Babu deserves respect in their culture just for being older. Respect going both ways doesn’t work in their culture otherwise women would be equal. He’s a man. As a man, again in his culture, he should be strong and reliable. He is not he’s weak and disrespectful while out on trips. He also at the same time acts like he knows it all. It’s a very flawed and conflicted personality and it’s also unattractive. I feel sorry for his wife. He will lead her a hard life.
You should tell Raeen that Planes are the safest way to travel. They have the smallest percentage of crashes/problems on a trip. Being in a car way more dangerous.
And roads in India are particularly dangerous with more than 150k deaths per year
I mean, that is a misinterpreted statistic. Planes are theoretically disasterous, however that is combated with higher standards:
1. In a plane, a simple mistake can cost lives of everyone on board, in a car, a lot of stuff can break and you can still drive... sorta...
2. Cars are so common that everyone has them. Every drunk fratboy, half-blind grandma and road rager. Airplane pilots are rare and hand picked to be the best of the best
right, they’re far more likely to die in the taxi on the way to and from the airport lol and there’s at any given moment about 1.5 million people in the air

Raeen, bravery isn’t the absence of fear, it’s facing your fears and that’s just what you did. Next time just say this prayer: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

Chanting phrases is no different than holding beads in your hand or talking to "Mary" and expecting fairy dust to fall from the sky. Expecting a false "god' to help you through something is called "fantasy", and fantasies get you nowhere. It gets weary when people start parroting empty words as if they're magic. It's called make believe and self-deception. They mean absolutely nothing. The ONLY God in the universe is the only One that will hear your request and unless you belong to Him, they mean little or nothing. Words mean nothing if your heart isn't connected to the only God that DOES control all things. Jesus saves. No one else does or can. Yes! Take Ruby with you on your next trip. Raeen, can he not see some of the other people flying too? There are older women and men sitting close by who are enjoying the flight. They're not worried in the least. Can he not put 2 and 2 together seeing with his own eyes and realizing, hey, they're not scarred, they're reading, listening to music with headphones on. They know it is a normal flight, because sometimes a flight is very smooth, other times it's not. I think, what is really going on here, with Raeen, is not the plane itself, but the fear of dying from the plane crashing. The only way to overcome his fear is to fly again and again. It`s the same thing as falling of a horse, you get back up on your feet and mount the horse again. Otherwise, you will always be afraid of them. Some people just can`t fly, others can`t ride horses.
Please bring both! Raeen is the most entertaining, Ruby adventures. I laughed very hard, and so would she! Babu is a "BAD MAN!" He enjoys watching the baby SIMP!

Babu is a bad man? How? He is stuck with Raeen whether he likes it or not. I’d hate having to sit on an entire flight with Raeen. He’s an utter pain in the ass. I know he’s scared but literally climbing on Babu he’s lucky he didn’t get decked. Babu is putting up with it the best he can. How would you manage with that, knowing it’s going to happen every time you get on a plane? They need to be sat apart from each other next time for two reasons. Watching raeen fly was the best content in the video. The jokes and banter inbetween him and babbu is the second best content. They have good chemistry as family members. But yeah one of the girls should come with next time. Probably wont happen because of having to take care of her children and the house. Maybe her mom can help take over for a couple days.
It's not fair to penalise Raeen for being anxious. While I'd love to see Ruby on the trip, they don't need to 'either or' them. Take both.

It looked as if he was having an anxiety attack. If that happens again in the future, tell him to close his eyes and think of happy thoughts (whether it's a person, place or thing) while breathing in and out slowly.

I’ve flown dozens of times, but will never forget flying home from South Korea in 2015, the worst turbulence I’ve ever felt. I remember my body going eerily calm, but my mind thinking “something is wrong, this is it.” I truly thought we were all going to die that night. I hugged onto my husband’s arm, bowed my head with tears on my face picturing my children’s faces.
Anyway I can see if one isn’t used to turbulence it would be terrifying. I mean you go from not feeling the plane moving at all to this giant machine shaking violently IT’S SCARY!!

Anyone who has flown more than once knows what a shaking plane can feel like. You get used to it just like a car hitting bumps in the road. What was needed was for someone to explain why the plane was shaking, meaning telling him of cold and hot air pockets the plane was flying through; completely normal but more common on that particular flight. Let him see the other passengers calm and even sleeping in their seats. Raeen is being brave from his new experience, but he's the type of getting through his obstacles. He's a man of high quality in many ways and it's good to see him exposed to new things, even though for the moment, he's scared and learning to deal with his anxieties. He's grown up so much since the beginning. He's a magnet for learning, questioning and experimenting. Any good dad would be exceptionally proud of him.

Every airport shop court is the same. No matter where you are on the planet.
I've never been to most countries, so I'm traveling with you, Babu and Raeen! Live in USA, been to Canada and Mexico. I've heard small planes are felt more in turbulence. Babu has also flown before, so he's more accustomed to the normal feel of it. What a switch, eh? On ground in a new land, Raeen is pulling Babu here and there, all excited and curious. HOWEVER, once in the air, Babu is the one showing, explaining, comforting Raeen!
Next time Reem needs a sleeping pill and maybe headphones with music in it🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Hopefully there won't be a next time as Raeens fear is too much to handle.
The couple behind them though! The services stopped means no food, drinks, pillow, headphones, etc. ...anything that is brought to you is stopped, as the flight attendants also need to remain seated.

I used to fly all the time when I was a teenager without a plane. I feel you brother Raeen, bumpy roads in the sky is not cool.
Raeen did so well. Give him time maybe he will work up the courage to try again. I hope so. He deserves to be a jet setter. I did notice how he looked at our flag. Raeen freedom isn’t free, it takes courage and you do have true courage. You faced a great fear and came through it wiser. Just keep trying.
I think Raen will get better at being on a plane. There are things he can do to prep for a flight. Turbulence is not easy to handle for many people. I agree Ruby should join the next plane ride because she's very adventurous. I don't think they should leave Raen out because he and Babu are very funny together. Babu advises him like a father and Raen takes care of Babu as though he is his father. They clearly have fun together even when Babu complains/scolds.
So much journey has passed. A little more journey will pass.

I've had friends and family members that were afraid to fly. It's not always something that they can rationalize away or control and it's really hard on them. . It takes a lot of courage to put yourself in a situation where you feel so much fear, so Raeen is being very courageous.
Tell him....When the plane starts falling out of the sky and everyone is screaming that is the time to be scared.
Raeen needs some ashwagandha. They should be shown a video on how airplanes work.

I hope it helped Babu that he had to put aside his own trepidation to concentrate on calming Raeen; so he didn't have the time or the mental energy to panic himself. Babu is so wise; he can apply his wisdom even in frightening experiences of the unknown and logically conclude that all these other people on the flight are OK so he and Raeen should be, too - and his faith that God will be merciful and us mere humans are in his hands! ❤ But that turbulence did look pretty grim! Poor guys!

I get a bit anxious on planes and actually prefer the window seat and looking out the window. It makes it less claustrophobic and watching the direction you are travelling will help with any dizziness.

It is not unusual to be nervous about a flight or for someone to have panic and anxiety at flying. Sometimes also along with that comes air sickness. Turbulence can be scary even for seasoned Flyers.

I can understand Raeen's dislike of turbulence, but the more you experience it, the easier it becomes. I would assume he hopes to travel great distances, perhaps the US or Australia one day so these shorter flights are good practice for him.
He's right though, sometimes sitting at the back does give a significantly different flight experience.
Seeing I love roller coasters when I got on an airplane it was nothing to me. What was interesting was when I got to see lightning from where it started. Just so happened to be looking out the window and it started at the same height as we were. Now that was awsome.
It would be so cool if they came to the US for like a two week vacation and see some sights here ❤
My first time on a plane was a seven hour flight from New York to Madrid, Spain. The turbulence was terrible and my stomach was so upset by the time we landed. lol
Everybody saying 'we should get rid of Raeen, get a woman instead...'. Well, aside from the terrible sexism of that, Raeen is being given NO credit for enduring these flights. He KNOWS he is terrified and yet he still gets on the plane and sits through the flight. It's not like he's running up and down the aisle screaming to be let off. He should be given full credit for facing his fears and doing it anyway, instead of being criticised. The fear response is very primal. He can't control it any more than the people who are criticising him can control their personal fears. Cut him some slack.
They should cut him some slack, but they aren't calling for a woman over a man... they are calling for a specific woman, Ruby. She's been on many adventures with them before and will try many things.

Buses, Trains and Autorickshaws shake a lot to in India. Explain to Raeen that a Plane is designed to withstand shaking and will not crash because of Turbulence. On the other hand it might be better for him to avoid planes and watercraft as the movement seems to trigger panic attacks in him.

Raheem is right. The back of the plane is much more shakey and loud then the front due to the engines mostly. He did good. Another plane trip or two and he will be fine. Babu needs to stop picking on him. Babu is a bigger girl then Raheem, he is scared of so many things.
