I've been on RUclips for many years. Mainly watch car builds etc. This has to be the best explanation of a diy ive seen. So thorough and to the point. Subbed.
Thank you - All I needed to do was replace a globe on a South African "Gamma" Series (somewhere between your C and D). Yes, this model you have to remove the bumper and headlight to change globes *facepalm*. Your video showed me where all those "hard to find if you don't know where they are" bolts. Thanks.
Just removed and refitted today, thanks for the walkthrough. To answer Taylor Page question (from a year ago, sorry so late). To remove the upper grille for Irmscher (or, in my case, a Blitz to replace the Griffin that was on my Opel) there's no subtle way. The are LOTs of plastic tabs and they are gunked, glued and melted into place. Just get a small claw hammer and lever the black grille away, section by section. Some tabs will stay on the bumper; most will snap off, still stuck to the grille. I used Gorilla Glue Gel for my Blitz grille (which came from a breaker and most of the snapped tabs were stuck in that).
Bonnet release cable has snapped on my combo, do I have to cut out the grill to access manually or is there another way you know of? Any advice would be appreciated
I'm looking for info on replacing the arch trim on a 2011 combovan. It the trim with the sill attached, I can see a black bolt on the bottom of the sill, is that a torque screw?
Hi mate great video thumbs up from me whitch plastic clips do I need for the inner arch liner I've had I look on ebay and there are so many to choose from ?
Where did you get that box of hardware from, I know you can buy individual sets of hardware but am looking for a set of different bolts n stuff that all fit the car in case I break any taking off anything, any advice or links appreciated
Hi just got a 57 combo today. Would a tigra grill fit straight onto a combo or is it a complete front end bonnet and wings?... also what vauxhall parts will fit straight onto the combo I.e seats steering wheels etc. Cheers
Very helpful video, thank you. I had one of those little black panels knocked out by hitting a bird and, because most of the straps have broken which hold it in place, my best option is to get the bumper off. One additional piece to add I think is to just jack the car up if you can't get at those bolts above the wheel.
i got them all from ebay. Thank you for doing this video, it is exactly what I needed to see, so that I can replace my damaged bumper, nice one.

There’s a lot but they are all similar.
Where did you get that box of hardware from, I know you can buy individual sets of hardware but am looking for a set of different bolts n stuff that all fit the car in case I break any taking off anything, any advice or links appreciated
+Daniel Nicoll I just bought the hardware all separately from eBay and Amazon, then got a cheap box from the pound shop to store them all in.
Excellent, very helpful video!
Thanks for the support!

+Richard Archer yes that’s a good solution, but if your jacking the van up then may as well take the wheels off too, for ultimate access.
@Rust Locker - all the replacement bolts you've brought, where did you buy the replacements from? if you could share the link??

@@RustLocker thank you so much
are you planning on doing a rear bumper removal video?
there isnt any on youtube and ive just bought a new rear bumper to fit.
I'll take a look this weekend and I'll do a video on it if I can.
Once you take the bumper off do your headlights slide out or you got to take out bolts? I need change some headlight bulbs but having no joy from the tiny gap at the back of the lights.... grrr
+Anders Mcfarlane the headlights have their own bolts. Yea you need double jointed pixie fingers to replace bulbs from the engine bay.
Rust Locker cheers. Mate....iv got my Saturday morning sorted to change a bulb.....I’ll do them all come to think of it now....nice 1
Thanks! Very helpfull! 👌🏼
thanks this helped!
Good
How to remove the top grill
I don't know, to be honest. I think it is pretty structural.

@@taylorpage2740 oh yeah, sorry then, I have not removed it myself so I can't give advice on it.
