Therefore answer will be 22

Base 8 expansion means octal system !! like 13 in decimal system implies 1*10 + 3*1 similarly, 13 in octal system will be 1*8 + 3*1 = 11 (decimal system).. This is how base 8 expansion works. Reverse this method let's write a number 25 (decimal system) in octal system :- this can be written as 3*8^1 + 1*8^0 so 31 (octal system). So you might get the core idea. We find the exponent of 8 in base 8 expansion first. Say 64 in decimal system would be equivalent to 100 (octal system) :- 2 trailing zeroes {Reason :- 64 = 1*8^2 + 0*8^1 + 0*8^0)}. Find exponent of 8 in 40!. For this you need to find exponent of 2 first. Let me ease this up for you you will get 2^38 so basically 40! is exactly divisible by (2^36 * 2^2) which is same as 4 * 8^12. What does this imply ?? This implies in base 8 expansion 40! will have 12 trailing zeroes with last non zero digit to be 4. You may ask that we are talking about divisible by 2^38 not exactly 2^38 so assume 40! = k * 2^38 = 4k * 8^12 (No other prime contributes to 8). And can k be an even number ?? NOOO.. all powers of 2 have been used up.. no other prime is even!! k is an odd number. So can we get another power of 8, NO ?? So 40! will have 12 trailing zeroes and last non-zero digit would be 4 !! (ANSWER IS C)

at 21:21 , the answer calculated is 63, but how are we sure that none of the other 2 digit numbers have sum of the factorials of the digitds greater than the product ? Shouldn't we be checking for some other patterns ?
he wrote the patterns-1)10!-22! pretty obvious[try to calculate a few between them and u will get it] ,2)then numbers with 1 at end[since anything multiplied with 1 is less than that number added to 1] , and 3)numbers having zero at end as product of any number with 0!=1 is less than sum of the numbers
@@dhruv20 Yeah I understood that part, but I was just wondering about any other pattern or exception just like 22 in the remaining numbers that might satisfy the condition required in the question, apart from the three mentioned by him( that you just listed out also)
sir answer for last will be 15 because u have to subtract 41,and 42 also as 14 and 24 are not satisfying
no ji 41 = 4!+1!=24+1=25 41 is greater thn 25 same like 42 and 43 but i accept that 14 and 24 are not satisfying and also 44

2) In the last question in this video we have to find 2 digit no. Which exeed but sir has answered not exceed so the answer should be (90-17) which is 73.
No. The answer is correct it will be 17 only.
@@bhumidave6683 No, he is correct. The answer will be 73 only as the question which was asked was how many 2 digit number exceeds the sum of their factorials. 17 would be the answer if the question was reverse, i.e, how many 2 digit no's does not exceeds the sum of their factorials.
@@poonampoonam4629 13's sum of digits in factorial is =1!+3!=7 and 13>7, clearly 13 exceeds 7 ,and 13 is one such digit among the 17 digits we found ,so the answer should be 17 only
