I hope so because I hate that character. When I play a game like RE (survival horror) the main feeling I want to have is the despair of not having enough resources to fight my way out of a situation; with a character like Alice all that concept is thrown through the window; the concept of horror and specially survival is lost
I couldn’t be more happy they didn’t make her in the games, she’s literally the epitome of what I hate about the movies. She’s just a “Mary-Sue/Jesus”, solely created for the purpose of giving the directors wife a starring role. As someone who has watched ALL the Paul W. Anderson movies (please don’t judge me) I thought the first movie was pretty great (even when Alice jump-kicked a Cerberus then proceeded to either OHKO all the zombies who tried to eat her without headshots) but halfway through 2, even with Nemesis, I lost faith (even though the make-up people made him look AMAZING) then Extinction happened … then Afterlife … then Retribution … and FINALLY the Final Chapter and they _NEVER. STOPPED. SUCKING!_ But mostly they just got silly, seriously making Alice the clone of the head-programmer’s daughter, who the Red Queen was modelled after in the first movie then having her elderly original self help her beat Wesker and finally get rid of the infection … f*ck off Paul 😒😒😒 Somehow even without her powers Alice survived, then she got her powers back and SOMEHOW remained unbitten to the very end! Seriously Alive should have died during Apocalypse! Thank the T-Virus Gods that Paul had *NOTHING* to do with the games and his Waifu for Lifeu never stole anymore precious screen time 😩😩😩 Thanks for the new video ScorePN and hug your furbabies all 💙🐱💙
I think Capcom fully had plans to bring Alice over. If you look at RE5 & RE6, they were greatly inspired by the movies. Had those two games not been a trainwreck, and Revelations hadn’t performed well I have no doubt Alice would’ve eventually came in to the games, maybe as the lead of RE7. Thank god that never happened.
And in these RE Movies... The Characters, that were Main Characters in the Games (Even some side characters)... Here Background Characters, or Supportiv Charactes. Also... Wierdly Put Together Storyline. OK! In the Third Movie Mad Max Desert, then in Movies 4, and 5, Cold Field Area. And in the Final Movie, Back to Mad Max Desert, and Later Post Apocalypse City. And Only T-Firus Zombies. Yeah and the Las Plagas in the 5 Movie, Once. Nemesis Not Fully the same as in the games. The Parasite was Kind a Missing. Carlos Oliviera Looked Like Chris Redfield, And Nicolay was Good Guy here. Also I Was Wondering IF Jerard Butler Could Play Chris Redfield. The Third Movie Intriduced a Second Tyrant. The First... A Single Licker, that was Treated Like a BOSS (And the Red Queen Call It Hunter). No G-Virus, No T-Veronica Virus, No T-Phobos Virus, No T-Abyss Virus, No TG Virus. No Uroboros. In Movies 4 and 5... Were Introdused he Things, that Wesker Controlled Jill in RE5. Also Jull Fro RE5 was Introdiced in the 5 Movie (Well Teased in Movie 4). And The Las Plagas Fly Trap Mouth From Resident Evil 5, in the Movies, was T-Virus Side Effet. And That For now.
Actually, @ScorPN, Outbreak DID have Yoko remember her life in ad-lib text during the final Outbreak: File 2 scenario. Just so that this comment doesn't get flagged for links, look up Ink Ribbon's video titled 25 Facts about Yoko Suzuki and on Fact #4, there's a secret ad-lib about it. It's when you help carry Linda all the way to the building you can climb up to defeat Nyx and escape should you miss the Helicopter.
I heard Jill’s design from R3make was indeed made to look more like Milla Jovovich. Her face models name is Sasha Zetova and her actresses name is Nicole Tompkins.
I hated her and despised those movies they were hot garbage that didn’t follow a second of the lore. Alice was terrible and god awful of a character and they butchered my boys Leon and Chris
I love Alice, but also hate her. Because she's a cool hot character, but most of us want a 1-1 translation from the game to video. The psychic abilities ruined it. However the Games have bad moments too. Like the transformations. Sims transforms from a man into a Trex in 2.5 seconds with next to no additional biomass, but I just head canon that he absorbed a bunch of bodies. Same with the Crocodile Monster in RE5, head conon is water weight and crocodile bio mass. Just keep giving us Animated movies with OG casts.
I was so hype for the movie as a kid but was like "wtf am I watching?!" - when she does the wall kick on the cerberus I wanted to self destruct in second hand embarrassment
Ok, here's the thing: this isn't mila jovovich's fault. She's a perfectly adequate actress. And the storyline for the first movie was actually pretty darn good. Second one had some sequel decay but was still watchable... But clearly by the time they got to the third movie Anderson really just stopped giving a crap. I don't believe he ever did the writing in the first place but you would have thought he could have at least made the effort to hire some halfway decent writers.
Also has a side note: is it just me or is the hall turning Alice to some sort of genetically engineered psychic warrior more of a nod towards the parasite Eve series?
As much as I hate what Paul W. S. Anderson did with the RE franchise, I have to admit that I like the first movie. There are several reasons why I think, that It's actually good. The best part, I think is actually Alice and the rest of the cast. Simply because It was It's own story, with It's own people. There was potential for unique characters and build up. Another aspect why the movie works is, that it captured the RE essence. You have few people trapped in claustrophobic underground labyrinth filled with zombies. Only with limited resources and ammunition they try to SURVIVE. There is this looming feel of threat around every corner. And the rogue A.I. was a little sprinkle on the cake. Yes, there are some campy, cheesy moments, but these are in games too. But then our boy Anderson fucked it up with Apocalipse. He had to insert game characters to the movie. Mangled them to fit his narrative and worst yet, he had to turn Alice in to some Jean-Claude-Universal-Soldier-problem-solver. Suddenly it's not a survival horror, but a generic action thriller. He practically turned it into a RE6. But at least it was still somewhat watchable. The following movies are just a travesty not a worth of talking about. So in my mind I always enjoy the first movie as It's own story, detached from the rest of that circus that followed.
I liked the first 2 movies. The movies should be seprated from the games. Even the welcome to raccon city movie made leon look like a b*!#:. Always seprate the games from the movies.
I liked her in 1 and 3, the rest not so much. Well I did cheer when she was beating Nemesis in hand-to-hand, but I was a kid who saw this as revenge for all the times Nemesis got my ass in the game, lol
I'll be honest, i used to not be that thrilled with Alice etc. considering how the movies AND the game became after apocalypse movie and resident evil 4 I'll take OLD Alice from rhe first 2 movies over the travesty they've turned resident evil nowadays
I always hated the character. The resident evil franchise had so many great characters to bring to the big screen. But the filmmakers were like “no let’s create this new character and somehow knows kung fu”.
This is the problem and how the Resident Evil films shifted the focus on action in the games. They saw that the films were doing really well so they emulated those elements into them started with RE4. That’s why certain portions where Leon is dodging wild stuff including lasers just like Alice did. Just terrible lol
i think the alice movies were okay... at first. but then they started to lose the plot. and fell apart. i do think alyssa's dress is an alice reference, (and honestly alyssa's best costume) but i don't think they intended to do more than that after awhile cuz anderson was ignoring the game story. anderson woulda' been better if he kept up with the mortal kombat movies cuz he knows action. he doesn't know suspense and horror. and likewise i hope cole NEVER ends up as a roster character in mortal kombat. it always feels dumb to put these oc's in the movies when the games have a good roster of characters to choose from. as for remake jill? i think that's just how the model looked like face wise. the costume seems more like a reference to shadow of the tomb raider lara. which i despised cuz they'd already done that a bit in 7 and re2.
The resident evil movies are loose adaptations of the game lore .. your gonna be extremely disappointed if your expecting the movies to follow the games .. I don’t even think they’re supposed to be the same universe..
I actually liked alice , I only enjoyed the first 3 movies . I would lpve to play an over powered character though in a mainline RE series for once . Wesker in mercernaries is awesome

Alice never outshined the game characters, Alice/Milla she sucked literally sucked the director , she was his Fiance and the dumbass made the Alice character because he wanted his lover in the movies and he thought Jill Valentine was weak and ignored that character in first RE movie, but relented and added her to "RE Apocalypse" , , , the Alice character disgusts me , , Capcom has every right to dislike and to Not want her in it , , study the Ashford family history better , , , Larry is crap director and majority of his films are crap , , , from OG RE fan , i bought first RE game for my Sega Saturn 🪐 true fan with FN standards 🏆👍👍
I HATE Alice!
I’m a big fan of Jill Valentine and cosplayed as her a few times!
I blame the pathetic director of those movies.
Looking at the old Romero script and knowing what we could have had (a much more faithful telling of the games) constantly reminds me we got the bad-timeline when it comes to the movies.
"Damnit Paul! Stop showing off your wife!" - Capcom, probabaly
As a sidenote, it seems the movie font was only used north america because here in europe we just got the regular old font.
finding out she's paul's wife just explains everything
I adore her sooo much and haters gonna hate LOL I really hope she makes a cameo in the games AND yes they can rewrite her if you dislike her story arc. so much... Capcom wanted another trilogy so I don't think they even "hated" her~ Hope RE fans would get over this hate boner because you can easily ignore these films... people act like it ruined the games so much 🤷🏻♂️ I treat it as a separate RE-verse. Simple. ✌🏻
And blind fanboys have misplaced love
As someone who has watched ALL the Paul W. Anderson movies (please don’t judge me) I thought the first movie was pretty great (even when Alice jump-kicked a Cerberus then proceeded to either OHKO all the zombies who tried to eat her without headshots) but halfway through 2, even with Nemesis, I lost faith (even though the make-up people made him look AMAZING) then Extinction happened … then Afterlife … then Retribution … and FINALLY the Final Chapter and they _NEVER. STOPPED. SUCKING!_ But mostly they just got silly, seriously making Alice the clone of the head-programmer’s daughter, who the Red Queen was modelled after in the first movie then having her elderly original self help her beat Wesker and finally get rid of the infection … f*ck off Paul 😒😒😒
Somehow even without her powers Alice survived, then she got her powers back and SOMEHOW remained unbitten to the very end! Seriously Alive should have died during Apocalypse! Thank the T-Virus Gods that Paul had *NOTHING* to do with the games and his Waifu for Lifeu never stole anymore precious screen time 😩😩😩
Thanks for the new video ScorePN and hug your furbabies all 💙🐱💙
wasnt the re4 laser corridor like a reference to the first movie?
And The Las Plagas Fly Trap Mouth From Resident Evil 5, in the Movies, was
T-Virus Side Effet.
And That For now.
Alice is also know as "I gave my wife a job".
Those movies were absolute simp garbage, but man, the worse the movies got, the better the soundtracks got.
I never want Alice in the Resident Evil games but I would LOVE her iconic Red Dress from the first movie as an unlockable outfit in a game.
( ・ω・)☞ never really hated the character but hated the stupid mind X-Men powers they gave her
I hate Alice and her husband they ruined the movies
Absolute feces he ruined Resident Evil
I hated her and despised those movies they were hot garbage that didn’t follow a second of the lore. Alice was terrible and god awful of a character and they butchered my boys Leon and Chris
Alice? Alice? Who the f**k is Alice? (Brits over 40 will know this reference)
I think Capcom is still on board with mila. They still had her in the monster hunter move
They made the protagonist more able and dangerous than the threat...
In a horror movie.
Before playing outbreak I actually thought Aylssa was Alice when I was a kido😅
I was so hype for the movie as a kid but was like
"wtf am I watching?!" - when she does the wall kick on the cerberus I wanted to self destruct in second hand embarrassment
Alice is a cringe character ngl
As should be!
She is not in the game!!! And never will be!!!
Alice was no good. Not at all but then again neither were the movies.
Alice was way to overpowered lol
I hate that they even had "The Red Queen" in UCs.... eughhhh get that movie crap out our games. Also... LAZOR WALL.
Judging by how much they destroyed this franchise i guess that they hate the latter lmao not Alice... rip Resident Evil.
I liked Alice in the first movie and that's it lol
The movies were dogshit and I’ll die on this hill
I'm straight on her.
Got hate boner for Alice after a she goes boxing with Nemesis.. A freaking Nemesis.. And recover bit like at end of last film 😂.
We are grateful that the director had not had a man as a husband...otherwise we would have had an Alice with a beard....the films just suck
F Alice
I liked the first 2 movies. The movies should be seprated from the games. Even the welcome to raccon city movie made leon look like a b*!#:. Always seprate the games from the movies.
No Wonder Alice Is The Protagonist Only In The Movie But Not In The Games
Crazy to think the last resident evil film made 300 million and it was so shit 😭
This is the problem and how the Resident Evil films shifted the focus on action in the games. They saw that the films were doing really well so they emulated those elements into them started with RE4. That’s why certain portions where Leon is dodging wild stuff including lasers just like Alice did. Just terrible lol
Alice was awful. I feel like the first movie could've been good, if she wasn't a Mary Sue.
i think the alice movies were okay... at first. but then they started to lose the plot. and fell apart. i do think alyssa's dress is an alice reference, (and honestly alyssa's best costume) but i don't think they intended to do more than that after awhile cuz anderson was ignoring the game story.
anderson woulda' been better if he kept up with the mortal kombat movies cuz he knows action. he doesn't know suspense and horror. and likewise i hope cole NEVER ends up as a roster character in mortal kombat. it always feels dumb to put these oc's in the movies when the games have a good roster of characters to choose from.
as for remake jill? i think that's just how the model looked like face wise. the costume seems more like a reference to shadow of the tomb raider lara. which i despised cuz they'd already done that a bit in 7 and re2.
The resident evil movies are loose adaptations of the game lore .. your gonna be extremely disappointed if your expecting the movies to follow the games .. I don’t even think they’re supposed to be the same universe..
the director just wanted to turen his wife into a superhero same with monster hunter and ultimately ruined the movies, ALL OF THEM
I actually liked alice , I only enjoyed the first 3 movies . I would lpve to play an over powered character though in a mainline RE series for once . Wesker in mercernaries is awesome
The OG strong powerfulll wuuumannn
I thought that went to Lara Croft or Ellen Ripley.
@@zionleach3001 It does. And not that rip off they try and call the "Modern Lara" but the REAL Lara Croft that accepts no substitutes.
@@The_Phoenix_Saga I've only played a little of the new ones. I get the first one was supposed to be beginner Lara. But it seems the first two made Laura into a punching bag. The 2000's Lara would annihilate the Storm guard and Trinity.
@@zionleach3001
2000's Lara wasn't a beginner tho, was she?
@@steelbear2063 I wasn't born when the OG Tomb Raider came out. But I do know she was a very 2000's action hero with dual pistols fighting dinosaurs. New Lara is basically hawk eye.
ScorePN
Alice is Badly Written Woman Character (Fact)
Leon vs ada scene and re2 movie when jill was suppose to fight nemesis. i think the first movie cover her enough idk why would they wanted to just let her replace all the cast iconic scene.
I only like the frist 2 movies the rest was completely garbage but I loved Jill's actress and Adas actress and weskers actor
They had to voice dubbed Ada Wong with Sally Cahill due to Li Bingbing spoke very little English .
@@centrevezgaming4862 I mean still she did good action seens
Everybody does
Paul Anderson & rob zombie should make a movie together with their wives
EVERYONE hated her. Thus, Capcom had no reason to use her.
ngl i don't understand what the story about at all, even thinking about it and trying to make sense of it hurts my brain
