Hi, your videos have made a world of difference for me! I was wondering if you would do a series on something that I feel is kind of overlooked but I’ve been seeing it a lot on the CPC practice exams, which is the path/ lab and medicine section. There have been some pretty in-depth questions and they really try to trip you up on these sections. I would love to hear your overview of these.

If a disease is in the ICD10-CM, but not in ICD11 could you still use the ICD10-CM codes? For example: K63.4 is ICD10 for Enteroptosis. However this code is not in the ICD11. Is K63.4 still valid? Could it still be used for diagnosis?

Is ICD10-CM still valid even when ICD11 is in use?
Because I notice there are diseases in the ICD10 that are not in ICD11
