srspower liability issues, if you adjust it from the factory setting and it goes off when you drop it and kills someone then you’re liable not the company. Someone who knows enough to adjust it to 1.5 probably won’t do that

Jon Hurley I love mine, but I can’t adjust the LOP. I was going to shorten it, but one of the screws wouldn’t go in all the way when I removed spacers and I didn’t want to force it. Still contemplating sending it back for a fix. Other than that, it’s been good-to-go.

Little different idea though. Savage barrels you have to check the headspace each time you change the barrels. While the DD barrels are set from the factory so no need for headspace gauges, just swap and go.
I own this rifle. The bolt is a bind-o-matic. The ejection has failed after the first 10 rounds. And it fails to cock on odd occasions, leaving a live round in the chamber, a safety that cannot be engaged, and a trigger that is inactive. I am waiting for DD to tell me how they intend to fix this boat anchor. On the plus side - it is supremely accurate. It just does not work worth a crap.
Already confirmed with DD that barrel kits will most likely be available in 3Q. I have the .308 and plan to buy 7-08 as I have other 7-08 and reload both 308 and 7-08. 6.5 Creed will be available as well. Pricing is not final but estimates are $500-$600 with wrench adapter
I'd love a Top 5 Starter Handguns when you don't plan to carry... everyone seems to include EDC that as part of their considerations but in some states it is next to impossible to get a carry permit. Just looking for something good for home defense and fun at the range so I'll want to train.
The barrel is wiggling like crazy even long time after a shot, is that suppressor weighing a ton or is the barrel made out of hammer forged rubber? I never saw free floated bolt gun barrels of similar length and thickness with a suppressor wiggle that much without having to look at slowmo footage.
4:30 .. That barrel sure does bounce around a quite a lot. Interesting to see... I wonder if it's the bedding being a little weak or if it's simply the harmonic vibrations. That barrel whips like a limp noodle.. lol
If I'm reading the DD website correctly, it's a stainless block the the action is bedded in so I wouldn't be worried about accuracy. The barrel bounce seems to only be coming from the forend flex. It's a carbon fiber reinforced polymer stock so it would seem like its a softer polymer matrix like HDPE. May not be the stiffest stock but it would be damn near indestructible.
God gave you 5 fingers on 1 hand for those smaller mags, and 2 hands for the larger mags (BTW that's 10 fingers). Never shot a Delta, but looks like good equipment. Thanks for the video

That's the exact same setup Im going with. Im saving up for that Vortex Raptor. hopefully it will be a good setup for my first LR rifle and learning Mils/MRAD.
@@sl66ggehrubt I picked MRAD(milliradian) because that is what the competition guys helping me use. It is easier for them to teach me and for me to understand what they are talking about. Vortex Razor Gen II 4.5-27x56 EBR-7C is what I went with and I couldn't be happier. It is a big heavy scope though. Vortex AMG would be my next buy for a scope. Plus, Metric is what the military uses and the rest of the world.
Nice neck shot and then left shoulder hit, good shooting. Yeah the wind was picking up a bit. Your first three shots were right on. I just heard of these bad boys and I WANT one that's all there is to it. The stock looks fine all the right stuff, set the trigger up three lbs. and it will be sweet. I like that range for overall everything keeps you safer when hunting.

The shooting and spotting is incredible. The rifle is definitely shooting .5 moa at 923. The wind was getting in the way but you held some that looked to be a 4-5 inch group.

The .308 has a 20" barrel, I wish it had a little bit longer barrel, maybe a 24" barrel or even a 26" barrel. But DANG that is some GOOD Shooting at over 900 yards for a .308 WIn with a 20" barrel and a suppressor!! I have heard that the .308 is capable of going out to 1000 yards, with a little longer barrel and the right ammo.
Gun University scored this rifle at C- please check it out. I think a rifle over 2k should be at least A-. Observance by a independent company. You decide but I would shoot it in at 100 yards first before buying this rifle for over 2000.00 I would do research first. Other shooters say it is over priced for what you get. to other rifles of the same caliber.
Glad to see all these options. Still, with a barrel vise and wrench and a set of headspace gauges, you have so many options of home assembly with prefit barrels. I have a savage and a big horn in after market stocks/chassis. Screw on a good prefit from northland shooters supply. The results so far have been superb. Daniel Defense was smart to make the barrels user changeable. I think this will prove to be the future of bolt gun stuff, just like the AR platform.
Try not to let the round cook for too long in the chamber, you'll see it on the target and I'm guessing that's why you were missing on those head shots. Thanks for the overview!

It's more a magpul magazine thing than the gun. I've heard of people having finicky problems with them.
