Agreed, we had a warehouse fire, ended up calling the nearby city. They sent an entire battalion, a chief, a fuel tanker, a mechanic, and a boat. Working the same fire, following the same command, at the same time, the same way. They were being paid, we were not. They are career fireman, we are not. They are professional, so are we (ehh, with minor exceptions).

The Majority of Firefighters in America are Volunteer Firefighters and the statistics show great service
This number climbs to 95 percent of all firefighters being volunteers in Canada
Both are not only competent but professional in their skills
