"How old is Tom and Jerry?" The 40s, Duck. Tom and Jerry came out in the 40s. Yes, they ran for decades, because it is a show that will never die (and I'm ok with that, I love it). Going from here, I recommend (obviously, not immediately) the review of Toonami.
I actually thought they came out in the 60s (tv show) or 50s as comics) but wow... an yea, I have seen OLD tom and jerry cartoon, like when Tom was called Jasper, and Jerry... well he didnt have a name but people around the studio "unoffically" called him "Jinx" wasnt sure what year those episodes were from, but I found out about that fact in early 90s during Cartoon Network's marathon "superchunk" if anyone else remembers that?
Beast Wars was a fantastic series, the animation hasn't aged well. If I was ever told that it was getting Remade with the same vocals I would be all over it. To describe the show In one word, it was "Prime."
And now, after Bumblebee (2018), they're bringing Beast Transformers into the movies. As long as Bay keeps his hands out of it, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
51:30 That's a complicated question. Throughout the normal episodes it wouldn't be brought up, but they often had scenes and episodes and characters that showed you that the world was interconnected and that previous ranger teams did save the world. They often had crossover episodes where the current ranger team had to team up with the previous ranger team. 52:32 YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH!! *ahem* Look. This was one of the first (if not the first) fully CGI cartoons ever made. It looks rough...really rough...but it has one of the best transformers stories ever told in the entire franchise. Things were epic, things were tragic. Moments got us hyped. Moments made us cry. It's a masterpiece. We transformers fans carry it fondly even now. Beast Machines though?...Yeah that was...less...good...53:22 NO IT ISN'T MUCH BETTER. YOU DON'T KNOW, MAN. YOU DON'T KNOW!
With Batman - yep, Harley Quinn originated in this series, and the Mr. Freeze's backstory involving a cryogenically-frozen wife who he was trying to find a cure for also originated here. Prior to that, he was just a generic "I use coldness as a weapon!" villain. Also, if you want one of the better episodes, I strongly recommend "Baby Doll" - or NC's crossover review with CR of "Familiar Faces" in his review of that character. "How do you steal windmills, bro?" Dude, that's only the *surface* of the shit Carmen Sandiego has stolen! TV Tropes has entire *sections* devoted to her insane heists on both "Impossible Theft" and "Intangible Theft", with the biggest highlights being Mona Lisa's smile, the Himalayas (yes, the mountain range), and *the number zero.*
- Tom and Jerry debuted in 40's. - Not only Batman TAS introduced Harley, it created the modern day backstory of Mr Freeze. Don't let the Batman and Robin version influence you he's a great villain. Also the show is quite possibly the best version of Batman not just on show but in general. - The Spiderman cartoon was my introduction to the character. Still love the show even if slightly dated. Also did Spider-verse, two decades before the movie - Power Rangers does have continuity. Going back to the original Mighty Morphin era. With past characters even showing up time to time - There's a Beast Wars movie coming this year - 54:00 Reference to the movie The Spirit where L Jackson wears a Nazi uniform. Critic has done a review on it - So interesting fact about Angela Anaconda, it had a crossover with Digimon. Yea Fox decided to have a short 5 minute segment of her getting ready to watch the Digimon movie. Critic has also done a review on that movie
going back to Dr. Freeze of batman TAS, yea in THIS series, he was the best introduced- they even carryed his animated series character into batman beyond where FINALLY got the final he deserved! Dr. Freeze wasnt "really" a bad guy... he was mostly tryin to save his wife and true love.... what half of the batman villains in the animated series where... just misunderstood... like the mad hatter, just a hopeless guy wanted to like a girl but,.... didnt go about it the right way and ended up brainwashing half the city under his control blah blah blah... ageless story concourse
"Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?" *Kyle pauses the vid* Me: Oh, has Kyle actually seen this show? Or played the computer game? I can't wait to hear what he has to say! :D Kyle: So, I've always thought Carmen Sandiego was a p*rnstar... Me: oh ok, well-
I've seen Batman the Animated Series and if you want a better understanding of why it's so good I recommend Nostalgia Critics top 11 episodes of Batman the animated series. And I saw Beast Wars while it was still on Netflix and it was better than it looked, like he said it was one of the first series to be fully CG back in it's infancy and it grew on me in favor of great characters and story, and they got better as the series went on as they are given new forms as a marketing for more toys since it's transformers
Thank you so much for going to the trouble of doing all of this, Duck. You have earned that 100K for this and we really appreciate what you went to the trouble of doing.
I *still* need to see the X-Men (1992) cartoon. But i freaking love the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. Doug doesn't give it enough credit. Also, that's *Roscoe Lee Browne* as The Kingpin, not Tony Jay. Between the 90s show, and Netflix's Daredevil, both Roscoe Lee Browne and Vincent Dinofrio were the best Kingpins. I also liked Michael Clarke Duncan's Kingpin, but Roscoe Lee Browne's voice is more memorable. I feel Michael Clarke Duncan wouldn't have gotten the role if it weren't for someone like Roscoe. But it was cool when Duncan came back as Kingpin in the MTV Spider-Man Series.
10:36 - 18:46 TV shows that Kyle has never seen or heard of. Based off of movies that Kyle has *also* never seen or heard of. It's like double the confusion!
Funny thing with Power Rangers is that I hear they're making an animated series, which makes me happy. This franchise always felt like it was meant to be animated. Even the acting feels like something more at home in a cartoon than live-action. 55:13- The sad thing is, this mentality still persists. At this point, pet monsters is a well-established sub-genre that's been used for multiple titles, yet you still gets tons of Pokemon purists who act like having more options is the worst thing ever. Typically when you get these 'only one can exist' mentalities, they last 1-5 years, but this is still going on despite many of these titles going out of their way to differentiate themselves from Pokemon. Not to mention Shin Megami Tensei did it first, not Pokemon.
Beast Wars was a pretty dope shoe, actually. Seriously. My favorite character from that show, Dinobot, had something of a Starscream arch From Transformers Armada. Only instead of lasting only a few episodes, it lasted his whole run 8n the show. He starts off as a predator, this shows's decendants, so to speak, of the Decepticons, but almost immediately switched to the maximals (similarly decendants of the autobots) after standing up to Megatron due not liking the way he was running things and being cast out. He then challenged Optimus Primal for leadership of the Maximals, only to simply join them after losing, but showing some honor during the fight. Still though, he kept you wondering if he was going to suddenly switch back to the predacons. Sort of Like Zucco from Avatar. Even when the situation calls for joining forces, you still don't know if you could ever fully trust him. But, whether as a maximal or a predacon, he never faltered in what he viewed as honorable, even leading a fight against the Predacons when things were at their lowest.
51:33 oh boy there was continuity every season takes place in the same universe ( except 2 which are in separate dimensions but same world) and most seasons would have a team up with the previous seasons team
Beast Wars kind of revived the Transformers franchise. For most kids of the 90s this was our introduction to the franchise. Shared the CGI is dated, but it was actually high-quality for its time. Here’s an interesting fact: when it was being dubbed in Japan, they accidentally created the first gay couple of the series. The character Airazor was female but when Japan dubbed it they used a male voice actor. Who would later have romantic feelings for her teammate Tigertron. They tried to play it off as a samurai and his helpful squire
I LOVED reading Goosebumps growing up. I think I actually read every single Goosebumps book that came in my school library. And you're damn right the covers were cool! :D As far as the TV show, I only watched one episode on VHS. Jontron made two videos on the TV show.
my Jr High School Library had a stock of Garfield comic books, Goosebumps, and baby sitter's club books. guess which ones my teachers would suggest the class do reports on? (spoilers: baby sitter's club) feck lol
I liked the show but found it weird they had a habit of making episodes based on sequels and not the first ones sometimes. I will say though the first Haunted Mask episode was really good and my favorite of the whole show.
I was there when Power Rangers came on the weekday, getting up at 7 every Saturday for Kids WB and Fox Kids. I saw the Spy Kids talk about the new Fox Box and al the terrible 4 kids dubbing on One Piece. For future reference also Jim Henson made the Muppets ad Wilkins Coffee.
57:50 I'll be honest, the only reason I know of Angela Anaconda's existence is because of the short that would play at the beginning of the American Digimon movie. Which apparently, from what I've read, was the cause of some kids' parents getting divorced. "Are we gonna gloss over that?!" Yes! It's for the greater good.
Unfortunately, the voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy died recently. Mark hamill also said he won't play joker ever again because he doesn't want to do it without Kevin.
57:50 That is the appropriate reaction to Angela Ananconda. Even if your brain erases memories of your dreams normally, I could bet you'll remember nightmares about this girl~
Disney Afternoon: I have never heard of any of these. Fox Kids: I don't know any of these. Okay, something tells me you didn't have cable TV growing up?
@@theduckgoesmoo Then.... you didn't watch a lot of TV growing up? Cause I find it a little hard to believe you don't recognize any of these shows. Especially since some of them aired on different channels. No offense BTW.
Fun fact: Tiny Toons did play on Nickelodeon. As for the wheels on the bus thing, either they used the musical background as they would with alall other music or the writers just picked wheels on the bus because reasons.
The cat woman joke: Back during the production of Batman 1989, Sean Young auditioned for the role of Viki Vale. Young was pregnant at the time and was removed from the list in favor of Kim Basinger. When the seagulls announced for 1991’s Batman returns, Young wanted to be Catwoman. She put on a homemade costume and showed up to Tim Burton’s office unannounced laying on his desk. Yeah she didn’t get the part. But the story was so ridiculous that it had to be made into a joke on a Saturday morning cartoon making fun of Warner Brothers.
I'm pretty sure the audio stuff wasn't because of copyright, but because specifically a mix of your earbuds and the way the audio was recorded. I don't remember the exact explanation, but basically, the old audio is only supposed to be playing on one channel, or one side of a speaker, and your earbuds are only using the other side and putting that sound into both ears. As a result, you get mostly silence with a little bit of faint garbled noise. I think it has something to do with the way the old audio is recorded vs. the new format of the video, but it's been a long time since I read about this whole thing.
Yeah, I went back to check out the Eek the Cat segments on the original video, and the audio from the show is working (though sounds like it's coming out of one speaker).
I hereby Petition Duck makes a new channel... 'TheDuckGoesMoovies' for reactions to all these classics he keeps saying he never saw! Of course then he will have to watch 15 movies a week to keep up the same rate, but that's a sacrifice I think we're willing to make.
10:40 - 10:57 J.M. Barrie is the author for Peter Pan. Go watch Finding Neverland, with Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, and Freddie Highmore. It's about J.M. Barrie's inspiration for Peter Pan from his interaction with an ailing widow and her children; one of her sons also being named Peter. Also, Dustin Hoffman is in Finding Neverland, which is ironic as he played Captain Hook in the Robin Williams Peter Pan movie, Hook (1991). And that "childhood scarring" involves the death of a character played by Prince Zuko, Dante Basco.
Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze's tragic backstory did originate from the animated show. Yeah, the Spider-Man show had everyone talk a little too fast. I remember watching reruns in the early 00s on Disney XD and words like terrorist and twin towers get muted out. While the 1998 Godzilla was the black sheep, the series that it spawn from was quite the opposite. He shoots atomic breath, fights monsters, and indestructible. Something the movie didn't do. The movie was made by people who didn't know Godzilla while the writers of the show were fans of the Japanese franchise. Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation is the black sheep of the Turtles franshcie. It's way to slapstickly for anyones taste and they introduced a female 5th Turtle with was quickly forgotten about in the next version of TMNT. Dude, Beast Wars was awesome. If you want to see terrible CGI, look at Transformers: Energon which came out 8 years after Beast Wars. At least Beast Wars has the excuse of it being one of the earliest CGI cartoons while Energon wasn't. It be comparing a N64/PS1 game with it's dated graphics to a PS4/PS5 game with bad graphics by today's standards. In terms of writing and characters, Beast Wars was one of the best shows and it took a long long time before we finally got a few Transformers shows the same level of quality like Prime and Animated. I know the openings of the Digimon movies have Amanda Anaconda there and have a dozen segments shoved in before the movie actually starts. Those poor Digimon fans are forced to remember horrible girl.
Duck talks shit about Beast Wars. Me: MUST. RESIST. PRESSING. DISLIKE. Calm down, it's just his opinion... Duck praises Beast Machines. Me: GAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beast Wars is great, and while animation is dated it was great for its time. Anyway, the story and characters were what made this show so great^^... Which is why Beast Machines sucks because all 3 seasons of character development from Beast Wars disappear and all the story leading up to Beast Machines be pretty much pointless. On its own it would be a pretty good show, but because it is a sequel to Beast Wars it fails due to everything that gets changed.
If you ever do Power Rangers I highly recommend Time Force which I am surprised they didn’t talk about. You don’t need any prior knowledge, it’s by far one of the most mature, and manages to be pretty close to the Japanese show while also incorporating its own characters and concepts.
Tomatoes are Fruits... Not all fruits are sweet... but if you grew cherry tomatoes at home you'd see why they're fruits. So dang sweet ripened on the branch. Thing is we bred tomatoes for size and shipping, not flavor. Cherry tomatoes are the opposite, all about flavor and production. Home grown and ripened fully on the plant just boosts it.
Unpopular opinion, I like Digimon more than Pokemon, Pokemon continues using the same protagonist for 25 years and has not much variety, Digimon on the other hand uses different protagonists for nearly every generation and has a lot of variety
32:53 Back when Looney Toon's first came out, home television wasn't a thing. If you wanted to watch cartoons you had to go to a movie theater to do so. That's why he talks about seeing them on the big screen.
39:24 i think you broke the part of my brain in charge of prosesing information. 43:09 if i'm not wrong, most spidermans use a webshooter, on of the only ones who dosn't is the one from the first 4 live action movies. 50:34 neither do i, and i'm entretain whit almost anything you put in front of me. 54:48 that abomination of an intro makes my ears bleed, why did they had to change it like that? 57:00 not even close to the concept of spiderverse.
I can assure you this was around during your time. It went into 2002 though so it was still pretty rare but the shows on their did get adopted into other networks and shows like Animaniacs and Powe Rangers are still going on today. I actually find it funny how serious it got in it’s later years, Power Rangers introduced actual on screen murder and disfigurement by that point before it got taken up by ABC Kids. And X-Men literally has discrimination as one of its major themes so yeah I was exposed to that concept early and it was adopted by Disney of all places.
@@theduckgoesmoo I was four so I understand if you didn’t catch the original run but even after the Fox Kids shut down the shows still aired on other networks with some still going to this day and others coming back.
so, Kyle... i used to watch half of these shows as a kid. dubbed to swedish, of course. although, i remember watching spider-man, the one with the "mythology" joke, dubbed to danish, and i watched it for some reason. also, the digimon season 1 and 2 was my jam growing up. :D
4:08 So... does Doug not realise it's possible for kids to have multiple hobbies? Like... he said he played videogames as a kid, but he couldn't have played those *every* hour he wasn't sleeping or doing schoolwork.
46:35 - Wait, is it possible you recognise that logo? Depending on where you lived in the world, Jetix was either a programming block (in Canada, it aired on the Family Channel between 2006-09) or its own entire channel (like here in the UK). It was basically the awkward teenage phase between Fox Kids (whose lineup of shows it inherited) and Disney XD / The Disney Channel.
here in the US (california) we (I) watch the channel discovery kids which turned into family channel, WHICH turned into Jetix (use to be the only place to watch my little pony g4.)
A Spoon!!! Helloooo Nurse!!😍 Fox Kids and Kids WB basically raised me along with Cartoon Network, DBZ, Sailor Moon, Pokemon and random TV channel surfing😂 Carmen Sandiago was lowkey my type🤔 Nickelodeon was big before sponge bob too. Power Rangers and all those Super Hero shows thought me what Justice Is...setting my path for life. Everyone deserves to watch good quality TV shows not sucking off politics like the U.S shows these days😮💨🙄😌 Wow I had a blessed childhood...lucky us🤣😜🥰
I had a teacher in elementary school named Carmen. She teached religion. Just for that you thinking Carmen Sandiego was a pornstar mad me laugh harder. I'm part of the generation that grew up with Beast Wars. While the animation doesn't hold up, the story, humor, drama, and characters still do. And its success is one of the reasons we got so many CGI shows today. As for Angela Anaconda, WE ALWAYS GLOSS OVER IT. Ee don't touch it, we don't talk about it, we run to the hills! Too bad they didn't talk about more anime in Kids WB.
I don't know what a lot of these shows are like, so this review went over my head. However, iirc that is actually Doug's dad, who passed away a while back. RIP Doug's dad, he had great humor and was really sweet.
Shows that i watched: 6:52 - Bobby's world was ok at best, I watched only few episodes. 7:16 - Life with Louie, on the other hand was a Top Tier Show. 10:37 - Peter Pan and the Pirates is another Top Tier. 24:12 - Eek the Cat, once again Top Tier. 25:55 - The Terrible Tunderlizard, So Many Top Tiers. 30:12 - Top Bat Tier. 33:53 _ Top X Tier. 36:56 - Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was good, but i became a fan by watching Power Rangers Time Force. and the other Power Rangers shows that i watched were: Power Rangers Ninja Storm, Power Rangers DinoThunder, Power Rangers S.P.D., Power Rangers Mystic Force, Power Rangers Operation Overdrive, and Power Rangers R.P.M., after that i stoped watchin Power Ranger at all, they all Top Tier. 39:46 - *Julius (From Saints Row):* Playa 41:16 - This is Top Spider Tier. This show knows how to give Villains a good Origin Story. Proof: ruclips.net/video/hwauBJAfMXg/видео.html&ab_channel=Slackin 43:42 - Top Hero Tier. Nowadays when people say Realizm in Superhero Shows, they think something dark, this "The Tick" is the proof that realizm can be funny, this show shows how much world would be crazy, full of Heros, Villains and other wacky characters, and the normal people acts like it's just next tuesday. 44:23 - That's actually SuperVillain Chair, called Chairface Chippendale. 46:00 - Top Spooky Tier. 54:45 - Top Digi-Tier.
30:35 Oh yes Harley Quinn's first appearance was in Batman: The Animated Series 39:17 By that logic what did you think Netflix's 2019 Carmen Sandiego was about?
Fun fact about Angela Anaconda: The first Digimon movie and an Angela Anaconda short prior to the movie starting. It was shit. So shit in fact that it was somehow the final straw for a kid's parents marriage; who took him to the theatre to see the Digimon movie. It was such nonsensical garbage that the parents got up, took the kid home before the movie even started. The parents divorced shortly after that day. Angela Anaconda caused a marriage to end at least from the perspective of the kid. I believe the Reddit thread is still up.
The line where nostalgia critic said it's 2018 no one uses that term anymore was a joke about Malcom correcting him. A tomato is a fruit, scientifically because it's seeds are on the inside. But Doug made a joke about the fact that fruit is a slur for gay people.
Uh, I asked this before, but have you watched any of Nestalgia Critic’s Top 11 Videos or his Young vs Old Videos? Also, i highly recommend Nestalgia Critic’s Joker Death Video.
I was born in 95 i never saw fox kids in that era i had the wb network which was tv from flordia and belongs to warner brothers and the programming block i remember most was kids wb which had batman the animated series and superman they even did a combo show the new batman superman adventures which was awesome. But i guess the critic did not grow up with kids wb programming. Shame because the commercials were awesome
Angela Anaconda was actually very fun to watch but its kinda like those pothead movies in a comedic sense. So its very niche and most of the people hate it for that. But also most of the people hate or dislike monty python too, ofc not comparing it as quality but my point is these kind of niche products wont gonna be for everyones taste. I was surprised how much hate it gets in America since in Europe a lot of people likes it.
it was actually ONE of the FIRST PC games on FloppyDisks in the 80s. yea old. but into the lore of the cartoon show of the 90s. Carmen was actually an angent of ACME (the "police agency" that tried to captured her) she just broke off and went rogue... she leaves the clues behind on purpose BECAUSE! she only steals for the thrill and challenge! she is a thief! NOT a Criminal! she doesn't steal just to steal. if she doesnt succeeds but still gets away, then its still a success-- she was like the "original" lupen the 3rd" if know that anime
@@theLOSTranger234 I do know a bit of Carmen lore including that but I appreciate the reminder. Also yes I do know about Lupin the 3rd. There’s a channel on the PlutoTV streaming service that airs it 24/7.
@@calebgoodman3028 its NOT lupin, but might as well be. the new movies with Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds "Red Notice" I havent seen it myself personally but it might was well be a live action Lupin the 3rd! (actually done right)
Oh wow. 1 hour of "what is that"/"who is that" Torture! Sign me up! 03:54 You guys and your quirky lives. Having the ability to have sleepovers without your guardians saying no, never telling you why and then giving you a reason many many years later that was pure bull.. So wacky. 06:13 I just realized something. You don't watch old shows on your own because people do it to either relive their childhood or check out shows and episodes they missed. But you wouldn't do because you have no idea what shows were even on to look for in the first place. 06:57 Alright you said you've never seen the Simpsons and that I get, but you don't know about CALVIN AND HOBBES?! Did you never read newspaper comics either?! 09:37 He's talking about James Bond movies. 09:40 He's talking about the Despicable Me spinoff movie, "Minions" 10:30 Oh Tom and Jerry isn't that old. It's only just a few months younger than the onset of THE SECOND WORLD WAR. 11:50 Now I know why you're so well armed. At some point you might see one of us off in a blind incomprehensible rage and you want to be ready in case things go south.
Fun fact the large guys called Kingpin and at first look you would think he's this really fat guy, but you would be wrong he barely has any fat on him that's all muscle
Okay so when they say Peter Pan is Dark they mean it. Yes it’s toned down significantly in the shows but if you read the book you’ll know that it gets pretty messed up.
Don't let the dated GCI fool you, Beast Wars is AMAZING. It's _Beast Machines_ that's the bad one. Well I say _bad,_ but it's good in a vacuum. It's nowhere near as good as the previous series, and most of the failings come from its ties to Beast Wars. Apparently the showrunners hired a new writing team and told them NOT to watch the previous series to keep it from getting wrapped up in continuity. Which ironically made it even MORE confusing.
Do you have OG Bakugan (Battle Brawlers) or reboot Bakugan (Battle Planet)? I'm an OG Bakugan fan myself, though I only have a couple from back I the day as the rest were lost to the depths of my childhood messiness. I have a good chunk of the reboot Bakugan, but never got past the first episode of the show because I just really didn't like it.

Thank you so much for going to the trouble of doing all of this, Duck. You have earned that 100K for this and we really appreciate what you went to the trouble of doing.
I’m trying my best!
I actually really loved the Fox Kids Spider-Man show more than the X-Men one but as I got older I do see it had problems.

TV shows that Kyle has never seen or heard of.
Based off of movies that Kyle has *also* never seen or heard of.
It's like double the confusion!
Double it and give it to the next person
A pretty dope 👞 huh?
As far as the TV show, I only watched one episode on VHS.

Wait the spy kids talked about it?
@@theduckgoesmoo yeah when Fox Kids rebranded as Fox Box they got the Spy Kids to introduce it and the new shows.

I'll be honest, the only reason I know of Angela Anaconda's existence is because of the short that would play at the beginning of the American Digimon movie. Which apparently, from what I've read, was the cause of some kids' parents getting divorced.
"Are we gonna gloss over that?!"
Yes! It's for the greater good.
That movie should’ve been two movies honestly as it felt pretty rushed. In fact it was two movies in Japan.

Technically 3, if you count the 20 minute pilot
Unfortunately, the voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy died recently. Mark hamill also said he won't play joker ever again because he doesn't want to do it without Kevin.
Okay, you have to react to NC's video on Hook, the Peter Pan movie that stars Robin Williams.
And it features Zuko himself, Dante Basco, as everyone’s favorite shunkhead with too much mousse.
I did! I even had a tv in my room

"what channel is that, with the little x"

I love The Tick. He has a fist full of righteousness, a heart of gold, and a random metaphor generator for a brain.
I only had cartoon network, toon Disney/Disney channel, and Nickelodeon as a kid
There is a RUclips channel that does 4 to 6 hour videos of Saturday/old cartoon lineups if you ever want to watch these great shows
One thing Critic messed up was who voiced Kingpin in Spiderman TAS. It was Roscoe Lee Browne who voiced him.
Oooooh that explains it because my left ear bud is almost completely dead
Your reaction to Angela Anaconda was the exact reaction we all had when it premiered
46:41 The channel is called Jetix. It was a Disney owned channel popular in the early-to-mid 2000s.
I hereby Petition Duck makes a new channel... 'TheDuckGoesMoovies' for reactions to all these classics he keeps saying he never saw!
Of course then he will have to watch 15 movies a week to keep up the same rate, but that's a sacrifice I think we're willing to make.
"Perhaps I should just skip to my point. My name is Luke Valentine..."
Alucard, "And I'm Carmen Sandiego... guess where I am?!"
Duck's genuine fear in that reaction to ANGELA ANACONDA is free serotonin...
Sees the intro,
"Let me guess, Angela Anaconda"
I didn’t know there was a Sam and Max cartoon. I might have to check that out. I enjoyed the game, and their appearances in Poker Night.
40:14 Seriously, I can't be the only one who enjoyed those educational CD-ROM games as a kid, right?
While you're recording extra... how about Birdemic by jontron :)
If you ever do Power Rangers I highly recommend Time Force which I am surprised they didn’t talk about. You don’t need any prior knowledge, it’s by far one of the most mature, and manages to be pretty close to the Japanese show while also incorporating its own characters and concepts.
Not to mention everyone’s favorite motivated half demon dark slayer: Dan Southworth

I think you need to react to his Countdown videos like ‘Top 11 Best ‘Batman: The Animated Series’ Episodes’ and ‘Top 11 Best ‘Animaniacs’ episodes’.
I mean I was 5 in 2002 so that’s still a little early
@@theduckgoesmoo I was four so I understand if you didn’t catch the original run but even after the Fox Kids shut down the shows still aired on other networks with some still going to this day and others coming back.

I have definitely seen that logo before

I had a teacher in elementary school named Carmen. She teached religion. Just for that you thinking Carmen Sandiego was a pornstar mad me laugh harder. I'm part of the generation that grew up with Beast Wars. While the animation doesn't hold up, the story, humor, drama, and characters still do. And its success is one of the reasons we got so many CGI shows today. As for Angela Anaconda, WE ALWAYS GLOSS OVER IT. Ee don't touch it, we don't talk about it, we run to the hills! Too bad they didn't talk about more anime in Kids WB.

Fun fact about Angela Anaconda:
The first Digimon movie and an Angela Anaconda short prior to the movie starting.
