It reaches out to the listener and pulls them in and says, "Bet you never thought about this when you first heard the song!" So it enhances my thoughts about the song and allowed me to interpret it in many new, different ways (which is exactly what music videos should do). Also, bravo for not doing the classic "lip sync music video" that is so predictable, unoriginal, and to put it bluntly: boring. I like to see the music artist in videos, but not lip syncing (it'll always be slightly off). So having the overseer in it was such a cool hint of Klayton/Celldweller inside the song. Really great job overall. Fun video!

I've listened to this song somewhere around 20-40 times since it came out and never once imagined robot dinosaurs haha. Love that these new songs on EOAE sound amazing and give a ton of space for interpretation. It makes listening to them fun, and once you've got your interpretation set, it's nice to get a new fresh take to open your thoughts again. Thanks for the stunning video and for not backing down as Bret said. Not many people would've been up to the task, even if the song was 3-5 minutes long! These mechanical cyber-dinos remind of Beast Wars Transformers, especially of Megatron, Dinobot and Terrorsaur. Really cool animation overall. It's been in my favorites since the video was released. Perfectly done, animattronic! You are a genius with a mind, a brilliant mind.

It's funny how a lot of things end up shattering your vision of something and at the same time show you something amazing through the reflections of those pieces of your own little fantasy. I always associated each of Klayton's albums with some vivid, yet calming images which, apparently, most people didn't seem to understand. The debut Celldweller album pictured me a science-fiction cyber-city, corrupted and dark, living its last days under the clear sky. Wish Upon A Blackstar had me flying around the solar system in search of truth and my own self while fighting off the all-consuming void. Transmissions took me to the far-space Matrix trip full of excitement and adventures, making me feel like time itself began to slow down... And then came the first chapter of End of An Empire. Gosh, was that amazing. When I first listened to "End of An Empire" and "Lost in Time", it seemed like I've lost contact with this world. Like somebody put a crown upon my head then launched me with some sort of ion cannon into open space. I was dashing through space and time, conquering galaxies and discovering new worlds with creatures and landscapes unknown to a simple human's mind. With the second chapter coming out, I began to speed up, achieving insane momentum, as my vision began to fade and body began to burn. By the release of "Dreams" I was already moving faster than a beam of light. And when I turned on "Just Like You", I suddenly stopped. Or rather, crashed. It felst like I bumped into an invisible wall and got torn in pieces. And you know what? It felt amazing. That was my vision of the new album, and I thought everyone had the same vision of it. Until the moment I launched this MV. Honestly, I expected everything from Klayton, but that "anything' did not include dinosaurs armed with lasers fighting miniature spaceships on a meteor like planet. But even though it's absolutely not the outcome I expected, somehow this video still manages to remain great and bring a new perspective to things. tl;dr - Woah you just can't stop surprising me Kalyton. (Note to self: this is just RUclips comment section, not a place to write a review you moron).

Interesting video and lovely art. I can see a lot of effort has been put into it, but the fact that it doesn't flow with the music almost at all ruins it completely for me. It's like watching porn with horror movie sountracks in it.
Okay, we got the coolest thing ever.: Amazing animation. Science fiction theme. AMAZING music. Aliens. And badass DinoBots that take the shit out of the alien. What else could you want that is better than this?
Story as I see it: earth evolved differently from today, dinos surviving up to the far future. Then aliens started modifying dinos remotely, turning them into war machines with litttle direct control (as they still fight eachother ferociously). Mankind fights back with hover tanks, but loses the war slowly as the dinos overpower any machine mankind can field. As their cities get nuked, they gather together in ships, escaping earth and destroying it behind them. The dude with red hair looks like the human leader, or a third party watching the events unfolding (although he looks definitely human).
mattmun12 from what I figure the video starts off in the Triassic period and some alien entities show up and upgrade the dinosaurs to advance them. But after settling on the planet they do away with the dinosaurs replacing them with robot dinosaurs. Then the aliens are blown up by a nuclear explosion. The two ironies being an advanced race being consumed by war and the past being brought to the future. In short: In a Triassic period advanced with tech are you living in the past or the future?
Aimela I totally understand that. I know if I had a team it would have helped, but there was so much content needed to made for a 7 min track. If it was 4 mins, I think I could have cut it better. Again, I wish I had more time. Life happens, and need to look to the future.
+animattronic I think you did a really wonderful job. I freaking love the video and that's not just because I'm biased to love anything with dinosaurs in it. (Granted, they do look both extremely awesome and really cute at the same time. Haha.) The polygon textures just work so well with the style of the music and really deliver a nice sense of contrast; making the setting appear futuristic even in the past. Add in that it works well to show the artificial sides (aka the cyborg dinos, the cybordactyl [I'm so using that word from now on], the cars, spaceships, tanks and other technology.) It's not even just the dinosaurs that are nicely detailed and fitting in the polygon style but space, The Emperor himself, the spaceship and the landscapes. Everything, really. You put a lot of work into this video and it's extremely artistic. Plus, cybordinos (Also coining that word now.) firing lasers! What's not to love? I'd love a t shirt featuring them all, it'd the best t shirt I'd have then. TL;DR version: Excellent work on the video, I love it.
Lost In TIme literally just describes the feeling of eternal change and how the writer does not know how to solve the problem. No matter what the circumstance is, it seems to all not matter, because history just seems to keep repeating itself. Life keeps snapping back every time someone tries to change it (e.g. war with death).
oh yeah also the juxtaposition between dinosaurs in lasers is used to show that there are issues that have been around forever. No matter how much life progresses, this will happen.

Story as I see it: earth evolved differently from today, dinos surviving up to the far future. Then aliens started modifying dinos remotely, turning them into war machines with litttle direct control (as they still fight eachother ferociously). Mankind fights back with hover tanks, but loses the war slowly as the dinos overpower any machine mankind can field. As their cities get nuked, they gather together in ships, escaping earth and destroying it behind them. The dude with red hair looks like the human leader, or a third party watching the events unfolding (although he looks definitely human).
Reminds me of Zoids for some reason...

mattmun12 from what I figure the video starts off in the Triassic period and some alien entities show up and upgrade the dinosaurs to advance them. But after settling on the planet they do away with the dinosaurs replacing them with robot dinosaurs. Then the aliens are blown up by a nuclear explosion. The two ironies being an advanced race being consumed by war and the past being brought to the future.
In short: In a Triassic period advanced with tech are you living in the past or the future?

Aimela I totally understand that. I know if I had a team it would have helped, but there was so much content needed to made for a 7 min track.
If it was 4 mins, I think I could have cut it better. Again, I wish I had more time. Life happens, and need to look to the future.

+animattronic I think you did a really wonderful job. I freaking love the video and that's not just because I'm biased to love anything with dinosaurs in it. (Granted, they do look both extremely awesome and really cute at the same time. Haha.) The polygon textures just work so well with the style of the music and really deliver a nice sense of contrast; making the setting appear futuristic even in the past. Add in that it works well to show the artificial sides (aka the cyborg dinos, the cybordactyl [I'm so using that word from now on], the cars, spaceships, tanks and other technology.)
It's not even just the dinosaurs that are nicely detailed and fitting in the polygon style but space, The Emperor himself, the spaceship and the landscapes. Everything, really. You put a lot of work into this video and it's extremely artistic. Plus, cybordinos (Also coining that word now.) firing lasers! What's not to love? I'd love a t shirt featuring them all, it'd the best t shirt I'd have then.

Lost In TIme literally just describes the feeling of eternal change and how the writer does not know how to solve the problem. No matter what the circumstance is, it seems to all not matter, because history just seems to keep repeating itself. Life keeps snapping back every time someone tries to change it (e.g. war with death).
oh yeah also the juxtaposition between dinosaurs in lasers is used to show that there are issues that have been around forever. No matter how much life progresses, this will happen.
