LADA PROTO
Front suspension is double wishbone on Protlum coilovers.
CAD designed to minimize bump steer and optimize caster, chamber,
rool center and ackermann angle.
Suspension parts are made from 4130 chromoly and aluminum.

What percentage ‘Ackerman’ did you use on the steering geometry ? You are doing very good, solid work here 😃

We use 26 % and it feels good

Yes they have 3 way of adjustment:
1. Highspeed compression damping
2. Lowspeed compression damping
3. Rebound damping adjustment

Hi. Tell me please what springs (kg/sm) you used on front and rear?

Hello, it is not a simple answer. We use some 150 kg/cm but our motion ratio is about 0.6 so this gives equivalent of 51 kg/cm on mcphearson suspension. If I need I can give you math and geometry explanation.

@@RallyJunkies I`ve got stock geometry and was thinking what suspension i need.. Now I have 60kg sm on front and 22kg sm rear, but i don`t know hardness springs on the rear from Vaz parts((( there are also for front 75kg(niva) and 93kg (chevrolet niva).Do You know any springs for stock geometry?

I am sorry I did not calculate spring rates for stock geometry. I think that some 60 - 70 kg should be enough. On rear end I would have some 40 kg maybe 45...

What bearings you use for the front wheels ?

Гайка на рулевой тяги кулака неправильно законтрена, контровка не должна болтаться соплей. Контровка должно пройти гайку, болт и усами разойтись усами вдоль граней гайки.
