И я уже не говорю об огромном количестве чрезвычайно популярных в Европе и мире гонок ретро автомобилей. К стати в Чемпионате России едет довольно много классики, как и в других национальных чемпионатах Европы. Ты, чувак, просто абсолютно не в теме ралли и несёшь, извини, ухню!

from NATURALLY ASPIRATED engine. stock lada engine with turbo and fuel injection can make more power than this one with (probably) built engine. that is why i respect atmo engine tuners so much
Hello. I was amazed at how this car could work. This engine had my father in 1986 on the easter formula and powered by 2 weber 45 reached 150hp at that time. I was really impressed by how well it turns. The 1.6cc crate engine is very brutal, you don't damage it easily. I'm curious what lift the camshaft has? and what gearbox do you use? Everything is well thought out, the engine and the gearbox are perfect, it goes well in laps ... I was left speechless. Much respect from Romania
well the lift is one thing but lot of stuff is done by the individual throttle bodies. you saw the engine has also very light flywheel and pretty sure lighweight forged pistons. and we have not even got to turbo:-))and yes, those engines are capable of a lot more :-) i saw them over 700 hp running stock block. the 1.7 niva with over 800 hp with 44 psi of boost. that is something that will put shame on any subaru and honda fans out there:-))

@@JosueHernandez-nu5cp ruclips.net/video/9EG3kvjADt8/видео.html here is this gopnik who tuned the lada engine to 700 hp. look on his channel for more info. the engine in there is bit diffrent than this one, it is running lada engine block, a 16 valve head from new lada engines, forged intrenals, most notably forged pistons(i am pretty sure he is not using the stock ones :-))) the engine produced around 700 hp at 10 000 RPM with 2,7 bar of boost. then there is this one ruclips.net/video/qOeC_D59a0c/видео.html he made 800 hp from lada niva engine. interestingly, he used the 8v cylinder head, just ported. lada niva engine block, probably forged parts and maybe even stock crankshaft. however, needed to say the previous gopnik have probably done better work, as he made the power in higher RPM with better powerband and less boost, and he have not made that much less power, despite having smaller displacement. however, do not try to make such power at the first run. first try atmosferic tuning. then you can try to turbocharge stock lada engine. the reason is, atmosferic tuning stuff like diffrent downpipes, intakes and getting engine into higher RPM is very important in turbo tuning. slapping on a turbo without sense will maybe increase power more than proper atmosferic tuning, but it would be forced by massive boost pressures. you want to make the most power with the least boost. which means, great turbo engine must make nice power even without turbo. however, very well tuned naturally aspirated engines have super lightweight pistons, rods, crankshaft and so on. if you bolt on turbo on such engine, it will probably blow up. naturally aspirated engines need to use high RPM to make power, as they dont have much torque. thats the reason of using lighweight rods and crank and so on, since moving fast with light parts needs less power=less losses. those light parts are sometimes even weaker than the stock ones. they are not transferring a lot of force, they are designed to be light and move fast. now a turbo engine needs bit more heavy duty parts. if you use some of these very light rods or wrist pins, they would probably break, since turbo engines are not as high revvy and athletic, but they make power by increasing mostly the force, not as much RPM. when this guy made over 200 naturally aspirated horsepower by light internals and supreme flow of the engine, the same power and even more could be done just by bolting turbo to stock lada engine. good turbo for lada engines are TD 05 from subaru and other TD turbochargers. then you can put there a 16 valve head for more flow. however, most important thing is, you need to understand how engine works. first try the simple stuff like changing oil in normal car and then move to more difficult stuff. good day.

@@frontplex19 The 8v ohc with siamese ports and timing chain started from 2101 in 1971 as 1,2 l and later enlargened to 1,6 l for Niva, has it's origins in Fiat 124 from the 60's. Fiat sold the blueprints and co-founded the factory, named Togliatti. The first three years of manufacturing 1971-1973 VAZ used leftover Fiat parts to build 2101 and 21013, before they got their own part manufacturing process fully operational. The 1,6 16v engine (2111-2112, Kalina, Granta, Vesta) is an actual Lada design, although it had some help from Renault. There's also 1,6 8v belt driven ohc in 2119, but that one is a failure.
@Oikku Oek Fiat never used Lada's engine in their Fiat-124. 124 did not use OHC engines. OHC engine has been made especially for Lada in combination with our Russian engineers and scientists. And this engine occured to be very good for decades! Fiat did not use Lada's engines in their fiats! The Hungarians today do not use fiat's engines today! )))

It is not "entirely new engine" it is the same basic package with some more modern parts.

You can make 500-600 HP with turbo and/or roots charger/supercharger. But it's a natural aspiration engine and I think 215-220 HP is the max for natural engines. Impossible to make more from 1.6 liter.
Most likely water injection, Its probably running on methanol, Water spray creates a denser air pressure and can run higher compressions and more advanced timing.

No,that's a Lada engine and the 16v engine is only in the 110 and 112 and some Samara's.
