Hey i like the tutorial but i have a question
how do i add characters without using a existing character?, for example i want to add Eggman but i don't want to remove any existing character in the game
That wouldn't be possible because they are all based on a skin there are some that add an entire character but it's more difficult and more rare
have you tried "Reslotter GUI"? It's supposed to do all this automatically with a GUI.
5:06 Why aren't you just deleting the other chara (pronounced kara, short for character) folders rather than renaming all of them, if you only want one costume on one slot? Am I missing something or was that a giant waste of time?
Also, why didn't you mention the modinformation.json files? What are those, why didn't your mods have them? Do I delete them? I'm assuming they're the same as the readme. Or are they only there because I tried using Quasar? Thanks for the tut.

When i go to the nintendo Eshop, it says i have 0 mods, even though i downloaded several different skins the same way your guide told me to. Any idea what im doing wrong?
what about skins that includes config.json files? i once removed a skin from a Metroid Prime Samus skin and when loading the fight the console freezes

i seem to be having an issue where it doesnt detect the mods, hbmenu works but when i press on the eshop icon in smash it sends me to the eshop rather than the mod selector, think u could help me?

Hey @Needels Mods, i have a quick question. Are running all of these mods on EmuNAND or SysNAND? Can you go online to Elite Smash in these modded skins?
Was wondering the same thing. Every other source says they need to be on sysnand but I feel like this video implies emunand so I'm confused, could be misinterpreting?
@@ryoboi432you can go online on sysnand (syscfw) with ONLY smash mods that are cosmetic (skins, effects, sfx, stages)
don’t use gameplay altering mods and always check if a mod is wifi-safe when downloading

You need to have an SD Card reader on your PC. Which if you don't don't be ashamed you could just simply order an SD Card reader online which is fairly cheap probably like a few bucks or so
