    For any general facts we use Simple present tense and for third person we use verb in 's' form as you taught in this video.For eg:The sun rises in the east then why we are not using " Cats likes milk" in place of "Cats like milk"?

    • @gonzalobollak8107
      @gonzalobollak8107 9 лет назад

      Because you are talking about 'the cats' as a unit.

    • @jsskumarinalli8893

      one sun raises not many suns. one cat likes milk and many cats like milk.

    Using simple present tense wrongly is sloppy present continuous tense. Present tense is good enough for me.
    Present continuous tense is reacting to situations which is many times in a non-creative and non-improvising way. Present continuous tense can be assumed to be sloppy along with the lurking mundaneness always. It is the feeling I feel or it is just me as can be assumed rightly. In short I feel something wrong about present continuous tense. A food for thought for newcomers in this zone. It was nice sharing this with all.
