I'm getting the CPLD error after installing the second step/file. Tried new files and installing multiple times. I have the model A. Any idea as to why?

is the firmware for the micro-controller itself, which I assume it runs with a bootloader, available for download?

Can you make a backup of your firmware that comes with your Floppy EMU just in case the firmware upgrade doesn't work?

The Emu comes with firmware hd20-0.7E-F14.5 (as of today), which you can download from the web site if needed.
