Pursuit caps at 225/67.5/135. Another important thing to note is that while individual stats are capped, total stats are also capped. A lower tier ingot with two stats can often reach higher values on those two stats than a higher tier ingot with three or four stats because of the cap on total stat budget.
Considering all stations have a 'Reclaim' function, and that only the iron one results in this manner, it's common sense to know that it's not an intended feature, but an actual bug. The whole purpose of the reclaim, is to get material back that you had previously used, or to get material from pre-made items you find in the world. So yes, this will be patched out. And most likely when it is patched out, all gear that was made using this "Bug/Exploit" will either be automatically fixed, or removed.
I think someone said that the only thing that’s gonna get patched is that the card is not supposed to affect reclaimed materials. Other than that, the folding of materials is working correctly.
Yea I mean he uses the words cheese and dupe enough to know it's an exploit. It's whatever though, this is a PVE game all you're doing is making things trivial and then you get bored and move on. Congrats?
Wait theres more! If you mix and match how you craft each item such as iron ingots for actions and say persuit for the mechanical gears the stats all cross over at the end when you reclaim the refined actions. I started making iron ingots with every stat and then duplicating them
still only lets you repeat the process a max amount of times. so its best to stick to the primary stats you want to get them higher rather than many dif stats
I did this with silver, magnesium and pursuit but when I craft the gun with the three materials it appears with very low stat, does anyone know anything?
For my gun I did everything with pursuit I could. Wood was either desert or swamp t4 (One of the two has a range dmg stat but don't remember which m) gilded also with pursuit.
@@RoyaleWithCheese Part of my problem was caused by using the super ingots on every part I could. Even gilding the wood. This resulted in a lot of baked in weight that is invisible. I made a new set of melee items only pushing to 120% with minimal problems and only 1 item using the super ingots. For testing I used my recruit to hold the weapons and then get myself over weight. Grab a weapon from the recruit and slowly transfer items until I wasn't over weight. Previously I was hitting cap at 184 out of 414. Now I'm only off by 4 kg's but I don't hit like a freight train.
dayuum idk if il have time to reach end game before all of this gets balanced but this is interesting, does it make the game boring using some overpowered items? just killing everything instantly??
For wood you want to make gilded wood, turn that into carved wood and then reclaim that. Fiber is a bit more tedious. Say you're using Jana meat for HP for your armor you make oil out of 2 Jana meat, turn that into a marinade with salt, make spice out of bounds ichor, make seasoned raw meat with the ichor seasoning and another raw Jana meat and then marinade that in the Jana oil marinade. Then you turn that into a perfect steak which you turn into animal fiber. So for every fiber you need you need 6 meat.
Yeah depends on the ingots, I should have explained that better although I think it actually goes higher and higher just doesn’t display past that point
Its visually capped on the paper, it goes beyond. There is someone doing over a billion of dmg per shot, thats way past the cap. This is also the reason servers are shitting themselves and there is freeze when you 1 hit a tree.
The Fact The card exists and is intended Plus the fact that there is a stat cap suggests that it might actually be an intended mechanic. The crafting and card system is a lot deeper than people first think. The Only thing i personally think is unintended is the x2 reclaimed part. This is Still Early Access and there is a LOT more content to come. With Mechanics like these in the game, I feel like the current max difficulty is only a Taste of what is to come. This is all just IMO of course.
Please fo a Video about what type or tier can reach 270 or higher. I only reached 270 melee with the pelucidic of the fabled sun giant, every other metal/ore barely comes close to that. (Gold 225 magick, Silver 180 magick, etc)
Tried it. Every time after recycling refined actions all stats are doubled. So I can make like a 6400% damage gun/axe? That's what I will do right now :D
People explaining this bug / exploit doesnt understand it. The card as NOTHING to do with this bug / exploit. The only thing this card is doing is allow you to not farm and duplicate ingots. You can do the same exact thing by farming. People say "don't exploit if you don't want to" but actually everybody is exploiting no matter if they want to or not. People are only talking about weapons and ingots, but actually this bug applies to weapons, armors, bags and even food. Basically all weapons, most of armors, all bags and some food shoudln't have those stats. The exploit part happens when you push the thing even further, so instead of just having a higher stats item than you shouldn't you accumulate stats even further to make an "infinit stats item". It's even worse than that, cause it's not only ingots and you can accumulate other stats than the one on ingots. Fun fact and that's how we can see people didn't understood the entire picture, ingots arent the "op part". Even the post on the forum telling about this bug isn't explaining it correctly. The major problem of all this relies in how stats are working on items. Will simplify: if we are using 2 ingots, 1 with 30% stamina & 20% strength and 1 with 10% stamina and 0% strength normally the result should be 20% stamina & 10% strength. Here the result is 40% stamina & 20% strength. Otherwise best items are the one that requires lots of different parts and items become too powerful in comparaison of the content. What is even more broken is that you can use crafting pieces to create a "new ingot" that keep those stats. But that's only the "obvious" part of the problem. If you are doing a simple craft you aren't doing crazy damage but more damage than you should, but it becomes obvious when you start to melt items into ingots and do this multiple time. EDIT: By the way this process is unlimited even if the tooltip says 250% and when you craft it doesnt increase. Each time you craft it nearly doble. While finishing studying this bug for fun we created a tier 2 lvl 120 basic pistol we killed Jana in one single shot that did 193M+ damage.
With the card you craft 1 action getting 2 and 1 gear getting 2 and 1 refined action getting 2 thus reducing cost and time by 50% per step, perhaps you don’t understand 🤓
@@RoyaleWithCheese yes it reduce time needed to achieve your goal and give you more mats but the card isn't needed at all to do the "infinit stats exploit". You can litteraly take this card away from the game the exploit will still working without any problem. I know cause i did it myself with and without the card active. During 2 days we check with a friend what else could be exploit with crafting. We made a report about all those things cause ingots aren't the only thing that can be exploit in reality.
Yes you can do it without the card but it is easier with the card so why wouldn’t you use it? If you are already exploiting (and you have admitted you are doing it) then why make a big deal about farming more mats and not make it faster and easier
@@RoyaleWithCheese actually not using it but tested it out to see where the problem starts and where it ends. Ofc you can use the card that's not what i've said at all. Only thing i said is that this "infinit stats" exploit has nothing to do with that card. The "card duplication exploit" is another exploit. They are totally split one with the other but ofc you can combine both exploit to speed up the process.
I tried this, got all my tools & guns made with ingots/wood reclaimed 3 times. Was nice, but there is an issue doing this. I have 500 carry capacity, however with those tools & guns on me, I become encumbered at 291 weight. I asked in Discord & this is normal, the more the fold the ingots/wood the heavier they become, but it is not showing in the stats. I am back to normal made stuff now.
Just a couple of many many exploits... the game is very much early development with a multitude of broken game mechanics. So I think he devs don't really care, its free beta testing for them. NB: The stats you end up with on the end item (say a Gun from pursuit ore) doesn't actually get those stats though. But it does get a little boost.
Thanks for bringing attention to an exploit ruining Apex vaults. So much fun getting to end-game only to watch everything, bosses included, getting 1 shot by 1 guy. (Not to mention the essence dupe droppers) I have no issues with people using exploits etc etc to have fun in their own solo realms. Hope it will get patched soon. (As for the bruhs that will come up with weak excuses ''but it's in the game so it's not our fault'' and ''They should have had better anti cheat'' you dont go killing IRL just because a law stops/punishes it. Think for 2 seconds.)
Dude they were talking about it in the official discord. And giving tutorials on it. And actually it already seems patched. but just to make you feel better: all the weapons I use when I actually play the game are made out of resources I ground out on stream and I still one shot pretty much everything but the boss. Cutting a tree down with a "regular" high tier axe still lags your server for 5 minutes.
People quite literally don't go killing because the law stops/punishes it. With all due respect, you have your head in the clouds, your idea of what people do is different from reality. People don't need an 'excuse' to do anything in a game. Especially games like Nightengale that have complex mechanics with ZERO explanation of how they work or what you can and cannot do, or how it all works. So of course people are going to try many things with the game mechanics provided to make better gear and do all the things. It's literally NOT cheating, or bug, or exploit, it's literally the provided game mechanic. So if you need to complain, complain to the devs, I'm sure they will appreciate it. If its a mechanic the devs don't like or don't intend, i'm sure they'll change it to their liking. If you don't like the game as its designed, don't play. There is a LARGE number of b roken mechanics in the game atm, this video highlights 1% of them.
