To clarify some of the comments. I am in no way blaming the diver. This was all my fault. I did not check the sea strainer for 2 months as I was working on other projects. The diver cleaning just made my mistake worst. So please do not interpret this a me blaming anybody.

Sorry, Charlie. Those barnacles in your raw water strainer came in as larvae, not adult barnacles. That is water that has not moved for a long time.

I probably spent 6 weeks without checking the sea strainer as I was busy trying to get other projects done. So this could have been going on over two months. The thing that got my attention was the HPF (High Pressure Fault) warning on the air conditioner. When I saw that I went and check and saw the problem. I shut down everything but it probably took me a couple more weeks before I could go back to address it. the accumulation happened over two bottom cleanings and a couple of months. Amazing how fast those little suckers grow. The majority of the barnacles were on the sea strainer. There were only a small amount of barnacles inside of the hoses. But there was a lot of muck and inside of the hoses. I will definitely be more careful going forward and more diligent on checking the sea strainers more regularly.

Hello I was looking at your video you really should look at the hoses first the bends are to short and the valve should have a long 90 at the valve so you’re hose won’t kink

I actually did go with longer hoses. I had to replace the water pump for the A/C and took advantage to replace the length of the hoses. Did a video about that.
Thank you for the feedback and for watching.
