It's also my favorite scene from the entire show, when the episode aired I kept rewinding that part to watch it again with the music and all, such a fantastic scene... It makes me even sadder that the HBO Max "Strange Adventures" was cancelled by Warner Bros Discovery, since the episode that Kevin Smith was tasked with writing was going to take place in Bizarro's world, and from the script, it looked liked it could have been amazing. Plus, before the show was cancelled, Kevin Smith was pursuing Nicolas Cage to play Bizarro, which could have been so much fun... If you don't know what I'm talking about, Mr Smith told the story of the episode he had written in a podcast... sadly we can't post direct links on youtube, but googling it is easy, and the script sounds fascinating.

Exacty what I said when this show premiered! This is the level of production it should’ve been. They should’ve shorten the 2019-2020 season of all the arrow verse shows and use their time and resources for one epic event. Crisis would’ve felt like a movie. The problem with crisis was that the cast and crew of each show were overworked and didn’t have enough time to breathe and work on the details since everyone still had to worry about the remainder do their own shows.
This scene was perfect. It really personified bizzarro and made me genuinely care about him. Don't get me wrong i was very happy when he first showed up because bizzarro is a great character but before this he was a bad guy who we knew would be defeated, now hes so much more. I was upset when he died.
The really sad part is that he probably could have stopped the entire crisis by killing Ally when he was in her office. The Ally on the prime Earth would lose any desire to merge the worlds if she knew that she had no doppelganger to merge with. Toss the pendant into the Sun and even Tal, Lana, and Jon probably couldn't recover it. The cult would collapse. A broken aspect of the show's theme (made worse in season 3) is that if you show compassion to supervillains then you just end up creating more crises, more suffering, and more loss of life.
bizzaro can be a very cool anti-hero, he is a very interesting character, Warner and DC have rough diameters in my opinion, the scenes with him are gems, visually beautiful. He is a character that cannot be expected, you do not know what he will do or do something good or bad, I WANT MORE
As backwards as the injustice future, just in the opposite direction. Bizzaro isn't deliberately an a-hole, he's just committed, with a lot more at stake than our Superman. Clark knew he was dealing with a doppleganger but no idea how close or far from himself this guy is. The music is Bang On. Also, Lana Lang Rho in a Superman of America outfit! This one sequence explains just about everything we knew of Bizzaro Perfectly.

@@not_hawk4047 Superman has a healing factor when he's not being weakened by something. There's no real "damage" happening with his appearance. It's just a visual side-effect of using so much kryptonite. This Bizzaro is actually more powerful than Superman.
Did anyone notice the picture on the wall of Bizarro's family? 0:39 In the picture, his Lois and Jonathan had X's crossed over them. I guess that means they're dead, which makes me wonder what happened to Bizarro Jordan?
No, they're not dead. Lois and Jon aren't on speaking terms with him anymore, though, and they didn't really go into Jordan's relationship with Bizarro-Supes. Bizarro-Jordan does cry when he finds out his dad is dead, though.
A later episode showed that by then he was on speaking terms with Lois again and he was regretful about not being there for Jonathan. He'd likely crossed their faces out in anger long before.
This entire episode was incredible, the parallels between Superman and bizzaro, bizzaro kills and therefore he wasn’t captured at the DoD, Superman doesn’t kill and therefore he got captured at the end of the episode. Very well written, a lot of fun to watch.
This is by far one of my most rewatched Superman clips of all time. Maybe the doomsday fight, once completed will beat this out but this scene is definitely up there with a great song, fight and visual storytelling.
I don’t know how it hit in the show, but this video and the song make Bizarro one of the most tragic and sympathetic “villains” I’ve seen come out of any DC adaptation.

After seeing how Season 3 retroactively improved Season 2, I can safely say this is the best live action Superman next to Christopher Reeve in the Donner films. (SPOILERS) It was genius how they turned Bizarro into Doomsday, and his transformation scene genuinely made the hairs on my neck stand straight. Turning the exact opposite of what Superman is into the one thing that could possibly strike fear in him was a stroke of genius.

AND Also in the Bizzaro world, There is X's over Lois and Jordan in the photo.... Does that mean they died? If so were they killed by Ally? Are they Good not evil is that why he crossed them out? How did they die? Are they even dead on his earth? So many questions! I really want Jordan, Clark/Superman and Bizzaro/Reverse Superman to go up against Ally. Bizzaro would open up and be more understanding if they talked more (Possibly about Jordan, Jonathan and Lois. What happened to them on his earth?). An incredibly well put together peice of cinematography. You get the sadness, regret and anger the director was trying to get across in this sequence perfectly.
Can we talk about how overpowered Superman is and how even his Bizaroo self doesn’t instant Kill. Superman could have easily sucked the air from the room, or frozen the clothes of every soldier. Not even to mention when Superman, even weakened by kryptonite. Is a hand to hand martial arts specialist and a person capable of learning every martial arts move in less than a month.
It's more of a red sun. Bizarro is the opposite of Superman. Superman gets his strength from a yellow sun. Bizarro gets his from a red sun. Green Kryptonite weakens Superman but x-kryptonite weakens Bizarro. Bizarro takes green Kryptonite to become stronger, but on Superman's earth, it's x-kryptonite
Maybe bizarro in next episodes saves superman, our earth weapon working only on our superman, bizarro became stronger from red sun lighters and kryptonite bullets

This was the scene that really sold me on the show. I was really loving it up until this point- then I KNEW I was in for something special!

Can we talk about how overpowered Superman is and how even his Bizaroo self doesn’t instant Kill. Superman could have easily sucked the air from the room, or frozen the clothes of every soldier. Not even to mention when Superman, even weakened by kryptonite. Is a hand to hand martial arts specialist and a person capable of learning every martial arts move in less than a month.
I wonder what Oliver Queen is/was like in Bizarro's universe, assuming he ever existed.

It's more of a red sun. Bizarro is the opposite of Superman. Superman gets his strength from a yellow sun. Bizarro gets his from a red sun. Green Kryptonite weakens Superman but x-kryptonite weakens Bizarro. Bizarro takes green Kryptonite to become stronger, but on Superman's earth, it's x-kryptonite
Maybe bizarro in next episodes saves superman, our earth weapon working only on our superman, bizarro became stronger from red sun lighters and kryptonite bullets
Now I just want a coop beat em up starring Superman and Bizarro.
