I have been trucking 36 years this month and I have owned 5 trucks 2000 Pete ,06 Pete and others and now I have had a hot shot for 3yrs . I have been thinking about getting another Pete and I'm so glad to have found your videos because I thought about go to Mercer 4yrs ago but didn't know anything about them. Love your new Pete and Bailey so stay safe an keep it between the ditches .

It sounds like a data breach at the fuel card unless the card was skimmed at a truck stop fuel pump! I hope you get the $100 bucks back I the day and age every dollar is critical. Take care and watch the pumps where you use your cards!

Running water can get you "in the mood" to pee. When the doc's office wants a sample I just trot off to the restroom, turn on the faucet and in less than a minute the notion comes to mind.

Just through Effinghamm yesterday, love that giant Cross. We left Springfield MO. in the AM, drove past Columbus OH and spent the night. Came on into NJ today, glad to be home.
Congratulations on 11 years of safe driving! Mercer did the right thing in honoring you for your achievement. Glad the fuel card and the hood spring issue was resolved. Perhaps you will tell us why you think it failed. You certainly have to roll with the punches in the trucking business.
Hey Dan !!! Don't know if this is what happened to you ,but in SC. ,there have been a # of card thefts with readers being installed on the pumps !! If you see a green lined card reader on the pump ,don't put your card in it !!

Dan, Check the slot where you put the card into the machine, and pull on it there’s most likely a chip reader at one of the machines you were at

Pickup a loaded trailer in Arkansas from Rheem heating and air going to Portland Oregon and they had loaded it top heavy. Had to watch it on all the curve all the way to Portland. Back in the 70s a lot of the roads we had to take to get there were two lane and full of curves. On everyone of them if you looked in the mirror the trailer was leaning I know a lot of times the trailer was leaning a foot or more at the top from were it was at the bottom.

Thanks for taking all of us along on your rides. Always great scenery and music. Please show us your jacket and plaque when you get them. Lol on the pee test. One year I had to take 8 urinalysis tests. The military always claimed our tests were random. And yes, you get watched. Lots of paperwork goes along with it.
About an 1 1/2 hours from my house. I’ve delivered refrigerated foundry parts there a couple times before, on the other side of the building though. Then south of Knoxville is a large Hy-Vee distribution center in Chariton we deliver frequently as well. Always happy to see you in Iowa Dan, take care!
