You and your crew have been helping me grow my whole life Class! To see these older tracks you did that meant so much to me and my development retrospected is amazing! You have a great way of personalizing your music, to me at least and this is just another example of that! Your a gem man, and a great role model for all people young and old. I am proud to be Canadian and proud to blast your music wherever I go from BC to Nova Scotia! Have a great Day EVERYONE!
Man this music was before it's time. Brings tears to my eyes when I listen to your music. Your catalogue is so under appreciated. I hope you know your fans never take you or your music for granted
I remember meeting you at U de M at one of your early on shows..you were so humble then..I see not much has changed but the date. Been Supporting your shows since the jump...when shiest won that battle to record with you. We sat in an empty apt in moncton blazing b4 noel left for NS. Wow the memories. East Coast of Canada on the Map thanks to the Boyd's !! Shout out Mike ! Loved his verses. Come back O g
Not sure if everyone understands how COOL this video is. Guess you realize it once you start trying to be COOL. You got that class. “Never moved away from my home town! People hold me up cuz I hold ‘em down”. Beautiful video! Thanks Luke
Moving home to Nova Scotia this summer, with the whole family. Spent a week in Enfield last time I was there. Hitchhiked there from Halifax airport when we landed. Ended up living in Halifax for a bit. That was 2005. I really miss the people of Nova Scotia! You music and videos remind me why. Thank you Luke! Can't wait to be back! 🌄
Classified. I been a fan since the beginning.. i been waiting forevr to come to a concert and i finally will be in camrose this week yaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!
I didn’t grow up in Canada, but my Dad’s side of the family is from Vancouver, and he was born in Toronto. I’m glad that music like yours, The Reklaws, Brett Kissel, etc has been able to get me in touch with my Canadian roots. Proud to be a Canadian American from California, and I share your stuff with my friends so that way you can have more American fans!
Been listening to rap and hip hop as long as I can remember and you have always been one of my favourites! Glad to see you kept your word and stayed classy!!
Watching this made me start to reminisce of my childhood. I've driven through the neighborhood I grew up in, and it's changed a lot. But even though things have overgrown, and trash has built up there, I can see through it all and still picture all the good times I had with friends back then. Thank you for sharing some of your history with us.
Thank you for sharing, would love to see Flin Flon just one last time. I was born there in 1974, 80-81 we left Canada and went to Germany. Was back in Canada as I was 30, that´s where a good buddy introduced me to your music, left age 41 as my mother in Germany was very sick. Never made in 11 years to see 56 terrace ave ever again. A tear shed my eyes seeing how you can show your birthplace and glad to see you still live around the corner. Take care
So well done. I grew up beside 'the Parks' and sold Cheese and Regal catalog items to raise money for the playground. I remember when Luke was mixing tracks on cassette tapes. Few artists have been at this as long as you, still true to your roots and still relevant.
As someone whom has enjoyed your music, for more than few years, this was a very touching watch. Thank you, and your crew for all the memories and moments for the last 20+ yrs.
You are all about your roots and where you came from. Nova Scotia is proud to have you. You put east coast rap and nova Scotia on the map. I love you songs man. Keep them coming. Im having a hard go of er right now. Im homeless but i keep trucking. Cant let this hold me down. Im from the south shore. Your music keeps me going class. Your the reason i keep going every day.
Damn. I don't know why im crying but i am. I met you in saint john luke, was starstruck as hell at the time. I told you that "all about you" saved my life, and i was honest. I was young, now im man. Got a wife a son and a daughter. Ironic. Much love Luke. You were my hero, then a role model. But today i think i started seeing you as a man. A person like all of us growing up and doing his best. I love classified, but I appreciate and thank you as Luke today.
You never forget your roots bud; I’m living back in the family’s 2nd and final homestead after I arrived in 1970, number 7/8 kids….back in good old Cape Breton Island 🇨🇦🥳✨
This song had always been one of my favourites, and to hear it redone as a retrospect like this just adds more nostalgia to a tune that already reminded me of home and the memories associated with it.
classified man this version of this song has more depth then the original song we need to hear more like this from the greatest rapper from the eastcoast you got somethin bigg for 2022 were all ready that game plan you been workin on for years now we all need a lil classi to bring back good old memories thank you again
@@hiphopshit1000 no problem bro you deserve the notification that you have beyond done your normal style and flow and redone it to a point of major increase on ppl into your beats from the eastcaost
I remember listening to the original version of this song many moons ago. I listened to it so much that my son used to sing along. The problem was that my son's pronunciation of "forgive, forget" sounded a lot like "F--- this, F--- that". So needless to say when I picked him up from preschool the day that he had been singing this song, the teacher had to inform me about his bad language. Well, my son is about to turn 14 and listening to this new version today just brings back the memories of those simpler times. Of course being from a small town and living a block and a half from the house I grew up in, I really appreciate the way this video is done.
Thank u OG! That had me in tears brotha! Its bin very difficult to express in imagery the Canadian community. You did it!! Thanks for making music ! Bless !!
Hey Luke, over the years, I've seen you come from a young energetic man to the father and husband you are now. The roads you've went down in life a lot of people can relate to. I'm thankful for your music in many ways, you're true to yourself and real. Bring on more of the music cause it'll never get old!
When I first heard this song. Forgive and forget was something I hadn't learned yet. It's a lesson I've learned over time. This retrospective video helped me to reflect on all the growth I've had in my life. If you're someone still not there, that's okay keep growing, keep striving. STAY CLASSY MY FRIENDS.
back when people cared about their neighborhood and neighbors. as we moved farther from freedom we closed ourselves off to the idea that we belong to a community.

Classified you have always been the biggest influence on me as far as wanting to make music, I remember when I first heard you just before I got your Trial & Error album, I had been rapping from a young age but you were the reason I started producing on my own, almost 20 years later and my ex girlfriend convinced me to move out to Nova Scotia since she knew how much of an influence you had been on me, I miss Ontario, but Nova Scotia makes me feel like I'm home, your song "Accept It" helped me get through my Dad passing away while I've been living out here, I couldnt make it back because of the pandemic, you are truly a once in a generation artist, so thank you Luke for becoming Classified and everything you have done for your fellow Canadians
