I fill a little bit more in the kettle than the cup holds though, but I never forget it, as it beeps until I finally turn it off. =D Also, I rarely heat the water to 100degrees. I mostly drink green tea so I just heat it up to 80 for quality greentea, or 90 for standard (As you lose around 5-10degrees while pouring into the cup), that way you consume even less energy as it heats up quicker, plus the water is at the correct temperature without wait times. A kettle with target temps (or a thermometer like yours ) will help greatly.
