I was there at Christmas last year and loved both fairs!! I wish I had ridden the swings at night- it’s one of the things I regret not doing while there but I was already SO cold!! Thanks for sharing - I loved the video!
We visited Edinburgh this week, Tuesday to Thursday. Excellent place to visit. Christmas Market seemed very expensive. Visited lots of places after following your videos. Cheers 👍
🏴💙17K💙🏴 Congratulations, Tony🎉 Lovely way to ring in the Christmas season with 17K subscribers🎉 Your town looks so festive .The variety of food ,OMG... Hope the feeling has come back to your digits😁 All the best to your crew💙
Loved the video! The Yorkshire pudding wrap looked delicious. The Christmas markets are not as common here in the US, so even though it’s expensive I’d probably be giving them all my money because the food looks amazing. I’m glad your son is doing better.
I absolutely love your wanders, especially for Christmas. It really makes me want to visit during the holidays ❤. My boys and I are visiting next May, but we may have to plan our next trip during the Christmas Market.
Thanks for this, really helps to get this preview. I'm away to send to my sons as they will probably want a visit. Last time we went as a family was 2019 so fancy our own clan catch up. X
Yay 17K 🎉🎉 Awesome, I like how the market is spread out. Your videos in the past (prior 2020) were slammed full of people. This is better. Good decision Edinburgh 😊
Thank you very much for the video, it really helps to narrow down the things I want to eat as I will be going to Edinburgh soon, about the German sausage is it pork?
Excellent video Toni,as always Edinburgh knows how to do Christmas in style the Christmas market is looking rather expensive this year and none of the usual little stalls but other than that it looks alright unfortunately we can't make it through this year, glad you're like boy is doing well 😊🌲❄️☃️xxx
17k! Well done Tony. That's fab & it's been a lot of fun following your channel all these years. My wife and I will be in Edinburgh in the next couple of weeks for our annual look around the market, although it looks like I'll have to take out a second mortgage for a hot dog! 😅
Am glad you are doing it for us so we don’t have to. lol 😂did you have to take out a loan. If you are an Edinburgh resident do you still qualify for a discount? Bit expensive mullet wine from Aldi
We were there last week, first visit to the market since COVID and it was SUCH a disappointment. Nowhere near enough stalls and most of the ones that were there were selling vastly overpriced food & drink. The George Street part is no better. The previous times we visited there were lots of small mainly independent cabins selling interesting goods on the slopes of Princes Street gardens but this is just a waste of time now. And the crowds in the evening were enormous - don't know what they all found to do. The only thing in its favour is that there is no entry charge!
These prices seem reasonable to me. Here in Seattle they just set up a Christmas market near the Space Needle this year, and it's $20 just to get in. Food is probably $15-20 as well.
You mentioned the price and how much it would be if you took a family of 4. That's what i was thinking too. I just didn't want to say it, but you did. YEA. I am not really seeing a lot of families there though. I see couples, young and old. I see people, but not really families. So it's probably just something couples do, or individuals do when they meet up for a beer or pretzel or mac/cheese while they walk around and look at the pretty lights.
Those prices are horrendous but i guess you're paying for the experience as much as the food... what really surprised me is there doesn't appear to be anyone selling pokes of hot chestnuts? Peruvian and German food is all great but this is Scotland and surely the humble British winter chestnut deserve to have a stall too lol
Maybe If they put a splash ( or two) of "Christmas Cheer" into the hot chocolate. Then you might be able to justify the fiver. Exceptional video as usual. Thank you.
'Vegan churros' cracked me up laughing!!!! Churros are vegan by nature: flour, water, salt. That's all. There is no animal suffering in a churro, except that of the man or woman who fries it. What are you eating in UK instead of churros? That was so funny! 'Vegan churros'... my chest hurts from laughing! By the way, 6 churros in a Spanish main city cost about 3 €.
So it's seem they are ripping people of more than u think on my video I PAID 12 NOW, HERE THATS THERE CHARGEING 14 POUND WHY THE SUDDEN PRICE INCREASE SHOCKING
Aww. Glad to hear your son has recovered ♥️

OHHH awesome!!! Thanks for doing the ride!! We have been saying that ride would give you an amazing video!!
Looks amazing 😊
One thing I don't miss about Edinburgh is the Christmas market. Used to get dragged along to it twice a year due to friends and family visiting
Wishing you and your family a very merry Christmas and happy new year when it comes
Thanks for the great video. Happy to hear that your little guy is better. Have a great weekend.
Very glad to hear the wee man is on the mend!!!
So glad your wee boy is feeling better. Such a worry especially when they’re so little.

This makes me miss Edinburgh so much 😭❤
I mean I wouldn't mind a video with you falling on your arse!! lol Congrats on the 17K! You've been my Saturday morning ritual since 2020!
So glad your son is better! Food seemed to have a good variety and people are going for the experience as well.
Glad your son is well again.
glad the wee man is well
It was at 17,000 when I watched this morning 🎉🎉.
I absolutely love your wanders, especially for Christmas. It really makes me want to visit during the holidays ❤. My boys and I are visiting next May, but we may have to plan our next trip during the Christmas Market.

It's Christmas Tony go skating no one will laugh 😂 another great video 👍
So so so happy Marty is OK. Kiss them all for us.
I'm glad your son is doing better. I would have loved the grilled salmon. The wrap looked good.
I’m sorry your son was in hospital but glad he is doing well now ❤
Yay 17K 🎉🎉 Awesome, I like how the market is spread out. Your videos in the past (prior 2020) were slammed full of people. This is better. Good decision Edinburgh 😊
Oh to be a Baked Potato seller... I'd make a fortune !!
Remember when it was just a carousel next to the national gallery with Santa's sleigh.
Now that wasn't yesterday.
That Yorkshire pud wrap looks amazing. One day I’ll be back in Scotland at Christmas.
Thank you very much for the video, it really helps to narrow down the things I want to eat as I will be going to Edinburgh soon, about the German sausage is it pork?

If you want to try something unique, look for chimney cakes. I swear I've seen them featured in other videos about the Christmas markets.
So did they still serve the marinated pork steak and Braktoffel ( bacon , potatoes a garlicky sauce ) ? - I always get them !!
17k! Well done Tony. That's fab & it's been a lot of fun following your channel all these years. My wife and I will be in Edinburgh in the next couple of weeks for our annual look around the market, although it looks like I'll have to take out a second mortgage for a hot dog! 😅
Nice video Tony, the food does look really nice, but Edinburgh always a bit ££. Glad to hear that the bairn is doing well 🙏👍

Hi tony how are u and your family is your baby okay now
WOW in Lincolnshire they're selling better for 7.99 and you get a seat , heat and comfort. NOT LOOKEN' GOOD 😢 FOR EDINBURGH😢

The family area with kids rides is a different area.

There was chestnuts, I just forgot to film it.
You can’t drink all day if you don’t start in the morning.
😂

Oh! Peruvian cuisine is one of the best in the world. I'm Basque!

Definitely not as good as the previous years
