I'm new to FL, "welcome to FL"........when was the last time a hurricane developed and attacked from the Gulf? I've never seen that.....before Helene at least.
Weaponized weather is not what the people of Florida need, spray your aluminum oxide and break the storm like they do to us in central Texas all the time. Every time it looks like rain they spray our sky’s to drought us this storm could be broke in a matter of 2-3 hours or greatly reduced.

But me and the fiance are hoping for the best. Everything outside is in the garage and all windows taped up so we did what we could. Thank for for homeowners insurance but I PRAY we ALL don't have to use it. Good luck to you and your family also! Hunker down, maybe make sure you got some beer to calm your nerves lol

What single prediction have they made that's been true? I can point out several with just this storm that haven't. First it wouldn't become a hurricane. After it did they said it wouldn't be more than cat 2-3 at most. Than hit cat 5 in a day. Than said it would be north now saying more south. Than they said it would hit in the day, now they're saying night.. they're omitting data such as solar forcing data. Making guesses with incomplete data and than changing their guess and acting like they made a correct prediction all along. And still speaking with authority as if what they're telling you is still correct.. how many times does someone have to be verifiably wrong before you question the information they're giving you man..
