Achieving KSM wasn't a problem at all for me, it somewhat came naturally while climbing keys but KSH is a different beast in PUGs.
I'll go get it on the DH now that I have time, DK can chill next to the Vault for a bit :P

I always leave up that one pillar to the right in CoS because all it does is spawn one add during the boss that can be CC'ed(imprison, paralyze...). And a big benefit that isn't obvious, it shortens the roleplay for the last boss(can also achieve this by guessing wrong on the amongus minigame)

I LOVED your road to KSM and all the stuff you did with it. I don't know where to start at even, as a new player (started in January this year) i learned a lot about dungeons and how to play the game or get gear in the earlier episodes, and started kinda tagging along as it was pretty parallel to what i was doing on my char. I love your way of storytelling and your voiceovers are GREAT. I also really enjoy your way of approaching the game and dealing with failure (being it you or your party members) and i have to admit whenever you or someone in your group went to sleep i had a smirk on my face (Sorry for that). Your idea of doing every key on one level and then moving on the the next higher one (or at least doing that once in a while) help me set like a personal goal. There are probably a million other moments i loved during your episodes, which i can't remember, all i want to say is thank you for the great entertainment, I'm looking forward towards a part 2. Also i totally didn't ignore the discord and other links before and just looked at them now when there was something to do with it.

Amazing to see how your channel has grown so quickly. This series was amazing, keep it going! Maybe try it again as a DPS, it’s a bit harder to get into pugs and also harder to influence the outcome of the run

Great series, I would love to see another! I would absolutely watch another season 1 series in the healer role.
Maybe I level my shaman and heal some keys, won't be a Season 1 series though I'm afraid :P
Man this series was an absolute delight. I followed it all the way through and enjoyed every bit. It actually inspired me to start my own journey to KSM. I had never gotten ksm before but it kinda felt like this was the season for it. Me (pally heal) and my fiancé (blood dk) basically pugged our way all the way up to 2000 (is it still pugging if tank and heal are premade) and it was some of the most fun I've had in wow in years.
This is amazing to hear! Me and my partner usually do the same thing with roles, I have usually been the Tank and she heals, though only through the levelling process of characters lol. You guys are smashing it, nice one and keep pushing! Proud of you guys

Great job on the series man! Your commentary and video setups are why they've been successful!! I honestly like the fact that you aren't super experienced(granted that may be because you haven't tanked) and am interested in you just learning the game and commentating too (maybe go for hero?)

I have close to 2500 on my main (Havoc DH), I have been a melee DPS since Legion, before then I bounced around classes. I honestly only feel comfortable on a melee so this was huge for me. I will be going for KSH in future series but not this one :P

Man i just love running these low keys on my alts. So much stuff going on that you dont see as often in 20+ keys.
The higher keys are fun aswell but very serious and a no mistake mentality while these low keys are just filled with clueless people which also has its charms.
I still need to push my 20's on the DH, now I have time! The lower keys have definitely been interesting xD

@@Dillisan Maybe you could create a specific ruleset for the KSM to KSH bracket f.ex. only invite people that haven't timed the specific dungeon on that level. Probably takes longer to create the group, but the accomplishment feels better.

Congrats man! I just hit KSM for the first time ever on my fury warrior. Definitely going to play a character with a lust or brez next season is what I’ve learned.

If you do a DPS you have to add a rule that you have to get 2400 since you have lots of experience and we get more vids out of it :D.
Oh melee for sure I think, would be unfair otherwise. Or make it so I have to push to a 20 or something, I'm not sure. KSM won't be enough though on a comfortable class.
a good way to keep series like this going; doing it with a variety of classes, DPS/Healer/Tank, it would both keep the views coming in, and increase the knowledge of average PUGs, giving more people confidence to PUG & learn their classes =) especially if they see their class being pugged to KSM
Edit: granted, doing multiple KSM series per season would definitely depend on personal free time as you said
I think if I started the series slightly earlier in the season I would consider carrying on and going for KSH. This hasn't been an easy task for me, I have learned a lot and have more of an understanding about what goes on in the mind of a Tank.
I am thinking about Season 2 and beyond, perhaps a KSM series to start and go into a separate KSH series once I have the knowledge and gearing is easier. I would also be relying on 4 other players so leaving KSH for later will be more beneficial :P lots of things to consider!

tank and heal are way different than dps in m+
i played my first season as healer and i learned way more about the dungeons and even other classes than i ever did as dps
especially playing a "non reactive" healer like evoker or disc priest makes it mandatory to know what happens in advance and who needs extra attention cause of def cd cooldowns (or beeing retri pala :P)
Yeah for sure, massive respect to Tank/Healer mains, you guys are build different :P (and Ret Paladins :P)
enjoyed the series, maybe my luck is better than average but pugging isn't as bad as its made out to be. I'm 2520 on priest with both Holy and Disc at 2480 each, even managed to do a 19 this week with bursting and grievous. Like many have said - would be good to push as far as you can so that people understand the expectation of upper tier players and to shed some light on how easy/hard it is for specific classes
Matt, you are my hero, gg's on the Priest! Some groups were worse than I portrayed, all about the storytelling so hopefully I did a good job in that area :D. I will push higher in upcoming series but I think the DK is done :P
u re inspiring me to do the same for road to top 20 havocs with only pugging ive done it in sl s4 and actually got rank 9 havoc but didnt uploadet it to yt currently doing the same in df nice videos man

Actually did that 2 times as dps and 2 times as healer. One ksh. Its really not that hard.
Week 1 level up your char. Get a 392 crafted weapon if possible or 343 boe gear. Do m0s for more gear. Push your key to 11 and do all dungeons for rio and gear on 11 - 13. Week 2 push your key to 16 and do all 16. Repeat week 3. You sre now ksm.
so, what now? gonna practice playing Ret in prep for the next KSM run in 10.0.7? are you going to use the catchup of The Forbidden Reach? would definitely smooth out the edges a smidge i think, as RNG sucks a lot.
EDIT: ahh, i will make sure to watch for those Polls, will have to see what comes next, enjoy your R&R in the meantime.
Not sure I can add anything else here, you answered your own question :P. I will speak about it on Wednesdays Weekly Reset video but I have tons of challenge ideas. I will get much more done in future seasons whereas this season I started far too late get start a second challenge.

That's not C, its a minimap button I was pressing for an addon called Narcissus :)

It would be sad if you stop playing the DK. You should go for 2 series. One for another Zero to KSM. And with the DK; all keys on 20 or something like that. Or KSM to Raszageth HC with random groups would be pretty funny and obviously frustrating for you. So even more fun for us.
Why do you all enjoy my pain haha. I have no interest in raiding currently, especially in the pug scene. Maybe future series ideas though, appreciate the feedback!
