Bobby Labonte won Talladega in 1998 in the spring in a Pontiac after half the field was destroyed in the big one. And he's done it again holding off Todd Bodine. But this race should've seen that unique paint scheme that was on #43. The Yu-Gi-Oh! Dodge. 7 races remain, Chicagoland, Kansas, Phoenix, Memphis, Rockingham, Atlanta, and Homestead. Nazareth will wait next year since it closed down in that year.
Dunno if that was hitbox or what but to me the crumpled up rear end was causing a bit of an optical illusion. It was hard to gauge just how close you were.
Not sure what happened to the car there. It feels like sometimes you have speed and sometimes you don’t at the plate tracks (admittedly I’ve never figured out setup for those tracks, it’s always either too tight or way too loose). But man…….. first wreck was incidental but that second one…… first Penske now Hendrick. Just hoping that the 36 don’t get punched in the nose lol. He’s got time to right that part of his game though.
Looking back at the replay, it's almost like there was something wrong with my pedal. The acceleration input would "flicker" randomly down to like 80% throttle. That second accident was partially due to the mod's hitboxes--the bumpers have like an invisible extension that makes it real easy to hook someone. I still shouldn't have been that aggressive given the situation I was in.
@@Squared77 I'd put the blame on Terry Labonte on that. He came up to try and side draft but got too close. So, Terry Labonte was at fault causing the big one on the replay.

@@namedropper9237 Hitbox issue imo, bit I shouldn't've been that aggressive racing for 20th

Jeff Gordon is NOT gonna be happy with you after that one
Somebody hire Jason Keller for 2004
Excellent top 5 finish for #81.
Why isn't Jason Jarrett and Mike Bliss here?
They failed to qualify.
