Can’t help but think what would’ve happened if you had a top 20 starting spot. But still a great race run and Jamie Mac suddenly an early title front runner.

"Texas World Shootout 400". Elliott Sadler was looking so good until his engine let go. Right in front of Red Qusa which was not a good place to be when engine smoke belches from the car in front and that would have been a catastrophe which it barely was. But in the end McMurray goes back-to-back. Anyway, onwards to Phoenix, Arizona. Which is J.J. Yeley's home racetrack because of his success in USAC and the Copper World Classic moving from the fall to the spring.

Two wins in a row for the 42. Can Jamie secure the first NASCAR regular season championship? It was a very committed race for Red because of the bad pitstop and Sadler's engine failure that costed him another top 5. Fortunately it was a top 10.

Exactly the kind of run needed after that Daytona race. Collected and smart drive all around, probably could’ve been a 3rd without that pit road slight. Long runs are way too fun once you know you’re faster than everyone else lol.

Wow……. That ending that’s a dang it if I ever saw one. If I’m honest Ricky’s there so it’s on Qusa, but I don’t blame Qusa for doing that. If he keeps outside there I don’t think you get back to him, that 20 car was hauling getting into 3. As Michael Waltrip once said though, Daytonas the most important race until you leave, then it’s 1 of 36.

we still would’ve had the lap 85 caution because jeff green blew up the engine, but somehow a 4 car train went blind and plowed the #30, and then the #54 spins and another train goes blind and plows into them, and then last but not least, stewart goes blind and plows the #16, who flips.

had Rudd not been there it would be quite the cherry on top of the cake, but holy moly kenseth did a 360 in midair after hitting the #6 and then the #36 and got hit again by gordon

IROC is where the best drivers from every motorsport in America and abroad battle each other. Switching from True Value to Crown Royal. And your 2004 IROC car is in Aqua, which isn't a bad choice at all, but definitely approve it. Excellent color of choice.
