These are the guys that sit in class and hit top marks and dress like normal kids....then they meet up after school and grind out epic hardcore ballads and don't tell anyone about it.

A lot of older music blew up on Myspace and MTV back in the day before RUclips. Then when RUclips took over as the main music video platform a lot of the bands fell out of public eye. This video probably has a lot more views but on older platforms when it came out.

Love this album . All the fuss is about ‘The Shape of Punk...’ but this album is just as good in my opinion , just in a different way.

All their albums are pretty good, but year, this one hits a little more like a Converge album or something. I love SoPtC, but it’s kinda bloated at points.

I agree with the OP in every way. Both are standout records. They both show and refine the same ideas. TSOPTC doesn't happen without its predecessor.
Songs is more straightforward hardcore with a little more earth crisis ish vibes going on, whereas shape is really pushing the envelope and boundaries of what punk is, means, or could be. Both are great at what they do, this one is a little more subdued but still heavy, whereas Shape went balls out

I barely got into them like last year at 20, the drumming and guitar playing, the bass and lyrics are just something else.
