Excellent presentation. God I miss the 80's and the period when this show was in production. I've lived in Miami my entire life and back then I would occasionally see filming Miami Vice crews around the Miami area because so much of this show was filmed on location and it was common to see their crews filming in those days. That was such a great period of time to be alive because the world was so normal compared to now. Thanks for taking the time to showcase these locations. I've seen other Vice filming location vids but I love the show and enjoy watching anything related to it and you did a great job and look forward to seeing more.
Thank you for the kind words my dude! I'm still learning how to edit videos, but I'm having fun with it. I too grew up in South Florida, and loved watching Miami Vice on Friday nights... I have researched enough to cover a few more episodes so far... I hope to get back within the month. Thanks again for watching!
Waw, you are so lucky to be Floridian and having witnessed the birth of that series ! ? Thanks to that series i've always felt drawn to that area. I was a 12yr old kid when it aired here in Belgium. Unfortunately it was also due to the bad frequent bad news of the drug wars that i got aware of Florida. I was shocked as a kid. An uncle of mine went to Miami in the mid eighties and didn't dare to come out of his hotel due to shootings... Locked himself up for two weeks. Also the everglades, because of the movie Shy People and Band of the Hand is a place i'd like to see one day. Yeah the eighties... nuff said.
I researched and found enough locations for two more episodes from season 1. My next visit to Miami is next weekend. I hope to have enough time to make a new video.... Thanks for checking it out my dude! 👍
Hey thanks for sharing great video I'm 48 years old 2022 born and raised in Miami as a kid I do remember Miami Vice and every filming location they also shot part of Miami Vice in Colombia Puerto Rico in the Bahamas New York to me it was one of the best shows ever music fashion and it was real today it's another world there are no good TV shows anymore I am so happy I grew up to the '80s '90s where everybody had fun this new generation today don't know how to have fun video games are driving the new generation crazy great video my brother God bless you👍
Thank you for the kind words my dude! I grew up in South Florida also during the Miami Vice days. I was in junior high school. I'm currently 51.... It was a fun time to be alive. Take care, Man. 👍
I have photos and a few locations all set up to cover that first episode, next time I'm in Miami. (in two weeks) You're right, the very first scene is Crockett right in front of the Carlyle. 👍
Thank you so much for this Ricky. This particular episode is my very earliest memory of Miami Vice. For some reason the first part of the episode sticks out where those senior citizens are escorted away and the bad guy in the green jacket walks up to Crockett's car and says "No more snags, no more days, the money's in the bag, open it please." This show was one of the few things to look foward to escape homework and was usually on Fridays. I miss the 80's really bad. Miami is a very mysterious place too, never been there which is why your tour here is so cool. Sorry for the ramble, God bless and thanks for the video.
That's awesome! Miami Vice was on TV during my junior high school, and high school years... I too looked forward to it every Friday night... I have researched the locations of a few other episodes and hope to make videos for those real soon... Thank you for reaching out!
Nice video I love Miami and Miami Vice. Thanks for showing us this from Season 1 Episode 7. No Exit is a standpoint episode from an amazing series. Have you thought about touring and uploading other locations from episodes of Miami Vice? Have you thought about doing a top ten favorite Miami Vice episodes video too?
Hi Clarissa! I have actually researched enough locations to cover two more episodes for now. (The pilot 'Brothers Keeper' and I believe the 2nd or 3rd episode where we see Noogie for the first time.) I hope to be back in Miami in about three weeks and will definitely make a new video... Thanks for checking it out!
I remember only being in my early teens and having my cousins drive me around Miami Beach looking for the crew filming. 🤣🤣 The only time we saw them was when they were filming down the street from us in Hialeah, at a club I believe was called 'Strawberries'?
I was sitting parked at that first intersection with a co-worker in 2002, or so, and we saw Mike Tyson walking down the sidewalk by himself. One of those surreal moments. We weren't sure it was him. The guy in the car with me, got out, walked over to him and talked to him and came back, and said, "Yep, that was Mike". A minute later, he was swarmed by people as everyone figured out who he was. It was fun living there, and coming up on scenes that you recognized from Miami Vice.
Thank for taking your time and guide us through the locations. I feel like every location should have a metal plaque that mentions the site as a former shooting location for the coolest tv series ever.... and the episode the location was used for.
"Homicide: Life on the Street" had a plaque. Most of the building was still the same, but no entry up the stairs. I took a bunch of pics w/ my Gran Torino. When they remodeled(ruined) it, a spokeswoman said the plaque was the first thing to go.
Thank you sir! I'm still kerning how to make the videos, but I have a lot more 'Miami Vice' (TV show) content, already researched that I need to go film. 👍
Thank you! Miami Vice was my favorite show when I was in high school... I'm hoping to go back and make a new video real soon.. Thanks for checking it out. 👍
Watching the series in full for the first time. While I agree something is magical about the first two, I'm still enjoying it deep into season 3. It seems like the griping was largely OTT.
I French. I don t understand all But ,je comprends les incrustation vidéo de la série avec les lieux d aujourd'hui. J’aime bien. J ai aimé cette série. En savoir davantage est toujours très intéressant. Merci.
The famous Pink House in North Miami was used once again as "Feature" gallery in the 4th season episode "Mirror Image" . The gallery was the money laundering business for Narc Dealer Miguel Manolo !
Was this the same exact location used at the start of the 2nd season episode "Bushido" where Crockett and Tubbs were on surveillance at night with a night-vision scope ?
Very cool video. I'm a huge fan of the show (and most things from the 1980s, despite being too young to really remember it) and now live relatively close to Miami. I did some shooting location scouting myself a few years ago and took pictures (and yes, I was wearing white and pastels, lol). Ocean Drive, the Pink house, Atlantis, Courthouse, Rickenbacker Causeway, etc... If you wanna see more locations, check out my friend Terry's channel (AKA: The Barefoot Vlogger), as he did one of these videos as well.
Yeah, you're right. I believe I read somewhere that the Ferarri company didn't like them using the first car that wasn't one of theirs, so they donated the white one.

Nice detailed work!! I love Miami, the show is responsible for me moving to FL
That's awesome! It was my favorite show when I was I high school. 👍
Same here! I moved to the US in 1992 from overseas because of Miami Vice 😅
Awesome! I'm down for as many as you can make!

@@rickysithappenedhere Ok awesome you yes that was Season 1 Episode 3 Cool Runnin. Are you going to do a top ten favorite Miami Vice episodes too?
I lived on Key Biscayne when MIA Vice began, we felt like we were in the show, it was the BEST 🍊🎭🌿
I remember only being in my early teens and having my cousins drive me around Miami Beach looking for the crew filming. 🤣🤣
The only time we saw them was when they were filming down the street from us in Hialeah, at a club I believe was called 'Strawberries'?
That was *great* ! The big event someone is organising for the 40th anniversary in September would be great to attend. Greetings from Prague. CZ
Thank you! I'm planning on going to the 40th event. I'll make sure to take a lot of photos and videos! Thanks for checking out the video! ❤️

Miami vice timeless as a show and as music! ✌🏻 TONY ✌🏻

That was pretty cool. I really enjoyed Miami Vice. Funny how things change yet kinda stay the same.
Great video with editing in the show pics.👍
Thank you sir! I'm still kerning how to make the videos, but I have a lot more 'Miami Vice' (TV show) content, already researched that I need to go film. 👍
I really enjoyed this video! Nice work! Congratulations!! The final scene of No Exit is one of my favourites!
Thank you! Miami Vice was my favorite show when I was in high school... I'm hoping to go back and make a new video real soon.. Thanks for checking it out. 👍
Loved Miami Vice for the first 2 seasons only. It was brilliant groundbreaking television, third season onwards it was painfully bad.
Watching the series in full for the first time. While I agree something is magical about the first two, I'm still enjoying it deep into season 3. It seems like the griping was largely OTT.
Loved the tour of where the Miami Vice. Thanks
Thanks for watching! I was a huge fan of the show when I was in high school... I'm hoping to go back and make a video of another episode.
Thanks bro what a season that was...Yankee Dollar, The Maze, etc.
Cool video man. Neat footage and I like how you installed the actual scenes from the show over the locations. 👍🏼
Thank you! I'm looking forward to getting back to Miami, and making a few more videos of different episodes. Happy New Year!
I French. I don t understand all But ,je comprends les incrustation vidéo de la série avec les lieux d aujourd'hui.

J ai aimé cette série.

Merci.
Great episode. And the pink is house is a classic. Can you share the address? Thanks
Yes, of course! The pink house is located at 9325 N Bayshore Dr. Miami Shores, FL
Great video!!!
Thanks for watching! I'm still learning how to make videos but I'm definitely going back to make another one on a Miami Vice episode.
This is fantastic.
Bravo
Thank you! I've learned a few more editing tricks, that I'm going to try out on my next attempt. 🤣🤣 Thanks for checking out the video. 👍
Great ending!!
Yes! After all that abuse she was taking, it was an excellent ending! Thanks for watching the video!
The famous Pink House in North Miami was used once again as "Feature" gallery in the 4th season episode "Mirror Image" . The gallery was the money laundering business for Narc Dealer Miguel Manolo !
Gracias soy fan de Miami vice, quería saber si Philips Michael Thomas sigue viviendo en Miami?
I liked it but next time if you could give street names to give a better ideal of the location in Miami
But otherwise good video!👍
Was this the same exact location used at the start of the 2nd season episode "Bushido" where Crockett and Tubbs were on surveillance at night with a night-vision scope ?
@tropicaussie4572 yes, it is the same location and also the final scene of the episode "Nobody lives forever" is around that area as well.
Very cool video. I'm a huge fan of the show (and most things from the 1980s, despite being too young to really remember it) and now live relatively close to Miami. I did some shooting location scouting myself a few years ago and took pictures (and yes, I was wearing white and pastels, lol). Wow, no shooting that day.
Right? It was still early. 🤣🤣 I'm sure there were some gun shots later that night... Thanks for checking out the video. 👍
I don't think the black car was a Ferrari, kinda looked like a vette with ground effects. I don't really know.
Yeah, you're right. I believe I read somewhere that the Ferarri company didn't like them using the first car that wasn't one of theirs, so they donated the white one.
Brilliant video i bloody loved Miami Vice 👍👍
