So badass! That’s a stick I could get behind! As a club, extremely intimidating! That would be the piece to turn into a ball and chain club. Maybe some kind of root ball for the ball, a dragon coming down the stick 😂 sorry, I got caught up.

      Thanks James,
Appreciate that. Yeah the bottom portion will take some thinking as to what to do next, I like the dragon angle. Take, care!🌝

Question. I'm just starting power carving and I wasn't to do a Superman symbol hair hold for long hair for a buddy that is doing chemo treatment and just shaved his head after having hair down to his bottom. If I'm doing a ring/roundish project, you always start carving on a corner, correct? *sorry for the long explanation.

      Hey thanks for your question,
Hope your buddy gets better soon…
With this piece and most others, I start
with the top and work down. I like establishing the eyes first, kinda set an
anchor point and go from there. With this,
since it’s a skull, I started at the top of the
fore head, rounding off every thing like
a ball shape. Hope that explains things…🌝

@@wood-psyche I appreciate the response. So on a project like mine, making basically a "napkin ring" with the Superman symbol on the outside of 12"x2" stock to make it all rounded would I draw my design in a corner?

@saafewolf69 So you would end up with a circular ring with the logo on the outside?
I would think the logo could be carved on the
outside any place suitable but if you start from a square piece of wood, you could use
      any corner I would imagine.
