Dustin Ellinger , that’s great and it’s fairly cheap ammo as well. I’ve been impressed with most of the frontier products I’ve tried and the ACR in the video shoots 1MOA and below with frontier 62gr soft point ammo so that’s what I stick with in that rifle. Thanks for watching
I chrono’d these from my 12.5” green mountain 1-7 gun and my 14.5” ballistic advantage barrel 1-7 I was really impressed with the velocities from the shorter barrels. Averaged 2710fps from the 12.5” and 2768fps from my 14.5”. I shot 5 different 5 shot groups from the 14.5” worse group was still under an inch at .875” @100yds and the best group was .625” I’m actually going to chrono them out my 16” 1-7 tomorrow and 20” 1-8 and shoot some groups with both. Btw the 75gn 5.56 frontier was right at 2700fps from my 14.5” that’s pretty impressive if you ask me. The 223 loaded 68gn from both barrels averaged about 60fps slower too
Honesty I never got around to shooting them over the chrono but the groups were good worse group Ive seen with this ammo from all 4 barrel lengths that I have is just over 1.25”
I shot this same ammo recently with a $600 PSA rifle and a $75 four power LPVO and was getting the same size groups as you at 100 yds. I was upset with what I thought was poor accuracy but seeing your groups at 50 yds with more magnification from higher quality scope makes me feel better about my shooting.
This stuff out of my AR-15 1:7 twist 20" & 24" barrel putting one on top of the other its extremely accurate I zeroed at 100 yards .I have taken several Coyotes Hogs and Deer with this 5.56mm ammo.
Yea, I know it's extremely uncommon but in my head I'm always wishing they would mag dump atleast a 10 or 15 round bunch just to see how it performs in that aspect with feeding / firing.
Very nicely done 👍🏻
This 68 BTHP shoots 1 MOA all day out of a 1:8 Daniel barrel. Appreciate the video.

Awesome. I just bought some rounds to try out in my RRA National match A2 rifle with a 1:8 twist.
informative and to the point! I have a good bit of this ammo and like it, especially for the price.
Good results from that round, but especially nice to see from the ACR and the barrel it has. Good vid.

How did the 16" and 20" do?

@@justa3v619 Thank you for replying. Positive vibes.
These shoot excellent from all of my rifles. Sub MOA and they seem hot compared to other cheaper 556.

I through his groups were good, but I’ve only been shooting a few years, so what some know? Lol!
I thought this was at 100.. I can’t find where he says it’s at 50

I love this ammo
Think I just found my new load for my 18 in
Thank you
Nice keyhole on 2nd shot of 2nd group. 50 yrds? What's your grouping at 100 yds?
I'm assuming this round out of a 1:7 twist Daniel Defense M4A1 would produce excellent groups.
I recently shot it out of a 1:7 super cheap-o PSA barrel and got amazing groups at 100 yards. And that's with a $75 amazon scope.
Cares what it looks like does it feed and get out of the way

"Get out of the way" idk why that made lol
