"Is jelly time". Glad to see 50 round boxes.
😎👊
That’s a black racer, best snake to have around the homestead
Yeah, we got a ton of em this year.
@ToolsandTargets glad you don't kill them, snakes are the best. Except those ones that put you in the hospital ;)
black rat snake. still great tho
How the f do you only have 77k subs? Your content is awesome. Firearms enthusiasts only interested in firearms? Not terminal ballistics? Wtf? Keep it up! I try to watch them all.
Appreciate that. It's tough to get a huge boost without clickbait and fearmongering stuff anymore. Slowly but surely.😎👊
Your channels getting so big even the wildlife are showing up for Jelly Time! 🐍 Also, always good to see FIFTY round boxes not 20 that you can't even fill a mag with! Kudos to Badlands for that if nothing else
It's gettin old that YT can't manage to do anything about it. I have to delete 6 or 8 comments on every single video now.
That noise will get them out of the woods alright, We sure have snakes here in Texas and they do come out a lot. Got to have the stick with me when I go out just in case we have them or the other 2 legged creatures.
I just realized you meant the real snakes and not the bots that auto reply to the videos.🤣🤣🤣
@@ToolsandTargets Sad that some people have nothing better to do with their time.

Good old MK262.... The 77SMK at 556 velocity has been an awesome performer on the battlefield for the US Army since 2004.... only recently was replaced by the M855A1.
😎👊
Seeing what potential one shot stops look like from a different but more detailed perspective.
Yessir
The 77 grainers definitely hit hard. Impressed with both but the round out of the 10.5 was really nice. Thanks for the jelly test Tools!
😎👊
Excellent test. I have been using the 75gr Hornaday for years. Going to try the 77gr SMK now. Will buy some and try them then handload. Thank you and thank the guy who gave them to you.
Thanks for all the testing you do. It's helped on some of my ammo I have bought.
😎👊
Nice!! Not much to complain about really. Glad to see the velocity was there and it would certainly do the job for 2 or 4 legged critters. I’m like you as far as the soft point staying together but great performance just the same. Btw… I couldn’t resist, I picked up the TTI Canik. Got a smoking deal so had to do it lol. And a 6” 686. Awesome test as always good sir 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Nice! You definitely gave yourself an early Christmas.😎👊
Exactly what I want to see coming from a 10.5 barrel, the round is slow but the terminal effects are absolutely devastating! Thanks TT
Yeah might have to get some of these for my 10.5 suppressed.
I love seeing fancy 556 rounds.
Fancy didn't let me down.😎👊
Awesome ammo test Tools 🇺🇸👊, 556 is a very respectable round. I don't own a AR, but I have a 223 Savage Axis bolt gun absolutely love it. By watching your videos I have learned a lot. Thank you 🙏
I’ve got a 10.5 and 11.5 loaded with this. I appreciate this test as usual brother.
Good stuff.😎👊
Everyone likes the jelly time and even the wildlife. Fantastic test brother tools. Glad to see your channel growing.
Appreciate that, my friend!😎👊
Sup tools! I just got some TSX rounds from psa! Those copper hollow points from barnes are no joke 🫡🇺🇸 thanks for the test as always! I watch every single video
Thank you sir. Appreciate that!😎👊
@@ToolsandTargetsI’ve been looking at their ARs …think I might pick one up for a back up! Their M4s are 499$
Just did the same lol
I have seen the reviews here and elsewhere with factory loaded Sierra ammo struggling. My experience with Sierra components for handloading though, has me in love with them. This video adds to the cockpit hash marks for them. I am fairly certain all their product lines are descendents of gameking and varminter soft points, hollows, spitzers, and now tipped also, even when it is called "match" which their product descriptions point to even in detail.
Seems to be about what I've seen too.
Another great test! Very enlightening.
Thank you sir.😎👊
👍👍Nice job Tools, your weather sounds like ours here in SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA…….pretty humid
🥵
I see an 18 inch AR upper in your future. And maybe even a 20 inch.
You almost stepped of that black mamba snake! 😲
Crikey! 💥🐍💥
If that was truly a black mamba snake, he would definitely be getting one or two of those 5.56 rounds in him! Also we’d have to get Mr. T&T a plane ticket back to the U.S. from Africa. 😂
They would hurt😂Thanks Brother B. the heat index in Dixie is triple digits.👍🇺🇸
🔥🥵🔥
Seems like a good choice for shorties.
Can't wait to see some 10mm carbine tests!
😎👊
Always like watching the ballistics tests. You have taught me a lot about which ammunition I stock and shoot.
I love the addition of the group shots. One of the best videos I've seen from you ...
Tools&Targets, I can’t find anyone that’s tested a Grizzly 460 S&W Magnum 300 gr BCFP ammo on RUclips. I’d love to see you be the first to test it since you have that caliber and have tested that brand of ammo before in 10mm.
The Sierra 77gr SMK is what is loaded By Black Hills to to create M262 Mod1 for the DOD. The original loading was with a Nosler CC bullet because Sierra would not provide a 77 with a cannalure.
Perhaps don't ever see Badlands ammo in gun store here in my home country , but still enjoyed to see your test . Thank you
Thank you sir.😎👊
Great video we appreciate you! I prefer federal fusion 62 grain 556 or speer gold 223.👍🇺🇸
Thank you sir. Those are some good ones.😎👊
Not bad at all Tools this is why I love this channel just a honest and good test of ammo.
Thank you sir. Appreciate that.😎👊
Good test! Kind of a clone of the military long range round. I always wondered how they'd do in the gel
Thank you sir.😎👊
They should call that a bad-ass round, great defense round, Thank you brother
Great job
Below ~2500fps, the 5.56 round is unlikely to tumble and fragment - as Stoner intended.
Thank you sir.😎👊
That's only with mil spec ball. TSX has loads that will do it down to 1800. Soft point will expands at those speeds as well.
@@baptistgaming91 Good point. I only run M193, and occasionally some 77g OTM, so I tend to forget about the other loadings.
Nice ammo and test! I'm not too interested in accuracy tests because no one on the tube has my exact rifle in their hands. I care heaps about performance though, because than I can pick a selection of ammos I know can perform and then choose what I think suits my firearm adequate enough. Thx Tools!!!
Thank you sir. I feel the same way about doing accuracy tests.😎👊
Nice Shellshock + Sierra Matchkings cant be a bad combo. Great to see this test Tools. Its really amazing how that 16" boolit fragments and stops penetrating at 8-12" of penetration. It Really shows the difference in Pistol and Rifle ammo, and the hydrostatic shock part of the rifle cartridge. That is what is really devastating over all the slower fps pistol calibers IMHO.
Potent package.😎👊
Those will get the job done. I like the bullet to stay together a little better. Thanks Tools 👍🏻
77 gr smk is always a good one dropped plenty of higs with it
Very informative, as always - Brother! Thank you again for all of the content you bring to us on the regular!! Any chance you might consider adding some of the lightweight body-armor material in future to your 5.56mm and 7.62mm tests into the gel? Thanks again!
Very good results all the way around. No complaints. Many thanks.
😎👊
Nice, great test and commentary. Never heard of Badlands ammo. Definitely would pick up this ammo if I could find it. Soft point mushroom 🍄 style or fragspansion is fine with me Tools. Really good performance and results from the Badlands. Kudos to Brandon and the local shop. Be safe. ⭐️⭐️👊⭐️⭐️🇺🇸
It definitely knows how to bring the sting!
💥🐝💥
Thanks for the vid! 👍
Great video as always thanks bro? I love a good tool like the AR! Can't go wrong with it.
Great video! Didn't catch the barrel twist on your tools.
Thank you sir. 1/7 on both of em.😎👍
That was a solid performance! The accuracy from modern ars is really impressive. I just built a complete aero build and was getting around 1.5” groups with some cheap psa 75gr ammo off a bag. If I’m not mistaken the ammo tested today performed like old school m193.
😎👊
Pretty good stuff 👍🏻 I don't run match bullets really but I keep some put back usually.. I prefer soft points & lighter hollow points but heavy match bullets & FMJ can definitely get the job done also I would lean more towards heavy match rounds over fmj though
If I need more penetration on an animal or something I would probably run match though
Dang fine shooting T! In a defense situation you aren't looking to hit the target perfect, you're hoping to hit the target often and you did exactly that, either way the target went to forever sleep lol. I'd happily carry these rounds, they performed beautifully and did a great job as well. Really enjoyed this video Sir, T/C.
PS: a 3 inch group at 100 out of a 10 inch, doesn't suck at all, again, nice shooting!
Thank you sir. Appreciate ya!😎👊
Man, you screwing with my timing.
🤣🤣🤣
Keep on testing my brother love them
Thank you sir.😎👊
I recently built an upper with a BA 18” SPR. She shoots super smooth - less recoil. Would highly recommend even if your not wanting to shoot match
I have a few longer ones with mid/rifle gas systems. Gonna use an 18" on the 85 grain test of these.😎👊
Impressive! Looks like awesome ammo. I hope to grab some!
Yessir 😎👊
That shot out of the 16" barrel, most of the bullet and copper jacket actually blew out of the bottom of the ballistics gel. Check out the different frames at about the 9:25 mark and you'll it with the slow motion.
Yep
Fantastic testing I appreciate all the hard work 🇺🇸👌👍
Thank you sir.😎👊
YA ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS. ???? SO COOL THANSK FOR VIDEO.❤
Thank you sir!😎👊
The ammo shines in short barrels. And also is very accurate compared to standard ball, so it’s useful for the extra 200 yards from 400-600. A 4moa will print 24 in at a minimum which won’t work. Even 2 moa and you have a 50%.
99% of the people running an AR will never even come close to engaging anything at over a couple hundred yards. At that point, the ammo will be the least of most folks worries.
@@ToolsandTargets I agree but in the possible near future guerilla warfare, where ppl might need to take a long shot and leave might be a stronger possibility than going head to head with seal team 6.
Know what I think? I think my wife and I are gonna love the GS Extremes I just ordered! 😂 This Arizona heat is brutal with the bulky earpro we currently have. Thanks for the recommendation and another awesome video!
Nice! There is absolutely no way I could go back to regular ear muff style at this point. No sweaty ears, no banging into the gun stock. I did a full review video on them a while back but if you haven't seen that, I would personally recommend using the cylinder shaped foams they send and the biggest ones you can squeeze in your ears. They might be a little uncomfortable at first if you're not used to using in-ear type, but they will fit perfect after having them in a few times and the cylinder ones give protection from the biggest/loudest stuff I own.
The longer barrel shot into the jello was brutal. I use .223 that the local cop shot uses. 55gr soft point. I have some .556 because it makes the wifey feel safer.
I'll argue with you about your accuracy on the wobble bench. It was darn good shootin.
Thanks for the test.
Thank you sir. Appreciate that. I'm definitely a fan of the soft points.😎👊
Very interesting, will have to some of those rounds!
😎👊
You're not wrong about the humidity, it was so bad yesterday I had to swim through it to get to the car. I'm a bit south of you and there's so much moisture in the air a fish just swam past my living room window 🐟🐠. IIRC my first mag for (defend the Alamo type situations) are Hornady Critical Defense. If that doesn't end the threat all the other mags are full of green tips.
If those don't work, I'm runnin!😆
@@ToolsandTargets😂😂😂
Kung fu grip 😂 Best ammo reviewer on YT! Curious what mount that is for the LPVO.
Good looking ammo there Tools. Does what it's supposed to do with good grouping. Your are such a comedian with the wobbling shooting bench. You're an excellent shot Tools, you can't fool us. Ammo is a tad $$$, but it depends on what you're willing to pay for quality ammo. Hope you're having a good weekend and a great Sunday when it gets here. By the way great ammo haul on Thursday.
Be vigilant and always be safe my friend.
Thank you sir. One of these days I'm gonna break down and get me some glasses so I can see the targets!😎👊
Another good ammo test
Another great test, Tools! Much appreciated!
Thanks for a nice, enjoyable video. For self-defense I'll go with a soft point or a polymer tip. Either will do.
Thank you sir.😎👊
Have you tested the IMI 77gr RazorCore? Same projectile. Stunningly accurate way out past typical 5.56 distances.
🇦🇺😎👍Hey big fella , down here we drill all the serpents 💥….Nice looking Rig🏁…nice heavy slug….thems Badlands Badboys are the bom 🏁…I like those badboys . Great stuff. Fantastic science Sir 🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
Y'all got them deadly critters down there!💥🐍💥
@@ToolsandTargets 🇦🇺😎👍Everything is deadly down here. Everything gets are slug🏁
Another good one Tools ! proves again if you want a great home defense gun its hard to beat 556 in any barrel length !
Yessir!😎👊
Thanks for another good one for the books!
😎👊
Nice job buddy!
Some good testing 👍👍.
Nice performance from those rounds. I’d take that all day long
I bought the gsx per your recommendation, so far they are really nice!! Appreciate it!
Nice! I absolutely love em.😎👊
Looks like good stuff! I've got so much M196 and M855 stashed that I'll leave this for others who don't have enough since it looks like the world is about to come to an end. lol
😎👊
Why did you decide to stock up on tracer rounds?
I have a heavy barrel saber defense are 15 with a light 2 stage trigger (2,000.00) CAD a decade ago , IT does 1.5 inch groups with handloads. My 800 dollar CAD savage m11 with mdt chassi in .223 gets 0.5 inch groups with said handloads. I give up on trying for accuracy with the ar platform.
Comment and LIKE for the algorithm.
Appreciate ya!😎👊
👍👍
WW2 M1 Garands were considered accurate (especially for battle), yet acceptable accuracy was 4-5" at 100yds.
I like it and I’ve always thought it’s a waste to run 5.56 out of anything shorter than 16” but this seems like something that performs great even on a shorty with the heavy for caliber bullet weight
And that’s tremendous accuracy for the setup you’re running
Definitely something I’m going to try and get my hand on for pigs and yotes
I think so too. You can't get much more basic than these guns and bench setup, and these things still did really nicely.😎👍
Try a tubs noise ring cutter for otms
As good or better than some of the big brand name products. It did surprise me with accuracy & gel performance. Where legal might do well on medium size game. Out of 16 1/2in it thumped that gel. Very nice! 🙏👍
💥🐗💥
Great report as always.
Great Video
Thank you sir.😎👊
Rifle rounds fragmentation all the way preferably out of a 16"+ barrel.
I love this channel.😁
Appreciate that!😎👊
Another great jelly test Brotha ..
Thank you sir.😎👊
Awesome video bud. Have you done a 450 bushmaster yet?
Thank you sir. I haven't picked up anything chambered in it yet.
@@ToolsandTargets I was just wondering. You make awesome content. Keep it up bud.👍🏻
@@deadman0235 Appreciate that!😎👊
Impressive, thanks for another great review.
I'd love to see some AR10 6.5 creedmoor tests.
I don't have a 6.5 Creed AR but I do have a bolt action 6.5 Creed.
Never tried it, but it looks good, so I would if I found it.
👍😊the trip seven ,77gr 1/7 is 😮 wonder if 20” would be even more 💥.
💥💣💥
Thanks for the video. Good to see you
Appreciate that, brother!😎👊
Having never fired the 77 grain, I was very surprised. I thought it would exit the back. I was shown I was wrong.
I've seen some heavy stuff tumble out, so I was glad to see these do well.
Hell yeah it is...about to kill me so hott, the trim glue on my cruiser literally melted and the trim fell of my car lol
🥵
I run Black Hills Mk262 77gr OTM for defensive use, but if the price is right, I would definitely consider these instead.
May I ask how you like that red dot and what magnifier you're running? I had a fire several months ago and lost most of my stuff. So, when I'm able to eventually start replacing things, I'm not able to go too expensive for now.
The Riton dot is good as any I've used. Not sure what the price is on em, but you might be able to get a Holosun for the same cost and they have shake awake which I'm a big fan of. The magnifier is the titanium version Holosun, but the aluminum one is a good bit less expensive and actually easier to set up on a lot of rifles, because it has a longer body to make up a little for the short eye relief.
@@ToolsandTargets Thank you. I really appreciate that.
I know it’s hot and humid but please promise us you won’t do any videos in a Cleetus McFarland Speedo 😳
Nice groupings on the steel.
👍🇺🇸👊😆
But I've already got it edited!😆
You do good work ! As do the snakes....
🔥🐍🔥
Nice, I haven't had a chance to shoot 77gr. Maybe I'll check these guys out!
Pricey but definitely some good stuff.
@ToolsandTargets I've learned some valuable lessons in "Get what you pay for" especially in the .22lr category!
That ammo is essentially the civilian version of 77gr MK 262 MOD 1-C with the hybrid /exotic case components of the SIG Fury. I’m surprised it wasn’t loaded a little hotter with the higher case pressure rating. Either way good stuff.
"77gr MK 262 MOD 1-C with the hybrid /exotic case components of the SIG Fury"...That mouthful sounds like something Joe would give as an answer to "What color is the sky?" 😂
@@ToolsandTargets 😝great minds think alike 🤣
Did the SMK’s have a cannelure? Thanks
I would have loved to see the 243 Win loads I hand loaded back in high school would have done in gel. I had the 85 gr Sierra BTHP at about 3150 to 3200 fps and would blow up a ground hog at 200+ yards. It was pretty hot, maybe a bit high pressure. I think the powder was IMR 3031. It would get 1 MOA or better out of my rifle.
Nice. Definitely a grenade.🔥💣🔥
@@ToolsandTargets I would love to see if a hand loader could duplicate that load. I think it was only 36 gr of powder or so. That was in the late 80s out of a Winchester model 70. I think they still make the bullet.
Got to be careful hand loading though, I cannot even find that load in a manual today with 3031 but I am sure there is a powder that can substitute or be better.
Nice test Tools! Watch out for the snakes 🐍
Thank you sir. Bunch of em out this year.😎👊
I’d be afraid they would wear out the extractor of my rifle too quickly. One of the reasons I have a love/hate relationship with Sig is because I’ve worn out extractors on 3 different polymer copies with the soft Russian steel case ammo. I’m sure the plethora of AR extractors means some would wear quickly and how do you know compatibility in advance? Just not worth the risk.
The funny thing is, they claim less extractor wear. 🤷♂️
@@ToolsandTargets can you make stainless steel softer and less abrasive than brass? I honestly don’t know..
@@Rooster-fo7lg I don't know either, but that's what it looks like they're saying. I think it's some type of alloy and not full stainless? I really don't know a lot about em. Brass is more than fine with me.
