fat nerds with nothing going on in their lives beg for more content because they are bored playing the game for the 30th time so they want new missions. they need to improve their game first improving all of the games poor systems would make the game overall more replayable, wouldnt even need new missions then
This video's title is a little clickbait, but I don't think that Tower Raid is even bad, just that it's not great yet. What I think is bad is Techlands recent focus on live service content doesn't fit into Dying Light 2. I think it's concerning that we started seeing things like this and the microtransaction store after Techland was bought out by Tencent. I don't think it has changed the game in a negative way, though I am concerned that overtime the game may shift into something else entirely and the single-player focused, parkour-zombie game that Dying Light is might get lost along the way.
Tower raid needs like hell raid kinda. I don’t wanna just keep fighting zombies in small spaces and I don’t wanna keep waiting so long for a chest to open that gives you the same shi.
I suggested they make an integrated website into the game so claiming stuff is convenient, maybe a companion app for mobile devices too??? Idk… maybe they could just handle rewards IN FUCKING GAME! I despise this modern kind of development it’s not user friendly at all and cheapens the experience. Love the energy and editing in this it’s very refreshing. Wish there was more DL2 content for you to cover brotha
@@jdauk04 I hate it as well. It’s ruining a game that I love otherwise. Also a huge part of the problem is that they aren’t integrating any of these new missions or items (like guns) into the game naturally, just tacking them on top of the game.
3:29 you don’t have to actually exit out of your game for the bounties to activate, you just have to wait a couple of seconds and then they will appear on your screen.
I don't think it will ruin DL2, it will only show how Techland can't actually deliever anything finished. Tower raid doesn't have any dedicated drops, everything can be bought from Jai's or anywhere else which is a huge reason why people don't really care about it other than the repetitiveness and because in Tower raid, it removes the entire parkour system, which is the opposit of what the game is about. Techland can't do anything right other than releasing 2-3 overpriced bundles every updates or be on their knees begging for their community to give them ideas because they can't make any of their own.
I don't think it itself could ruin Dying Light 2, though the direction Techland is heading in is concerning to say the least. Ever since they were bought out by Tencent they've been leaning closer and closer into turning Dying Light 2 into a live service game. Tower Raid being an expansion on survivor missions worries me because they are still going farther in that direction. I was personally hoping Tower Raid would be more of a one off but epic experience similar to the return of Tolga and Fatin (hopefully with an actual ending and gameplay this time lol)
I’m genuinely so sad we’ll never get the E3 vision for the game. The one with meaningful choices and a dark age aesthetic. The dark ages idea was so much more interesting than what we got.
@@gamerfamer6893 well, there is modding team recreating it, though I always take these really ambitious projects with a grain of salt lmao. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxmJYhAzXLKmQbB6YmfI17FHFMAdPYcO-a?si=ixsxiBiFw_d9rA5Y
My idea for a concept is to where the 3 npc the hunter, the night runner, and jay to where you can choose only one npc If you choose jay you get, small story at central loot, guns, tower raid, toga fatin If you choose nightrunner you get, small story, Elyseume map, be the zombie, and infected skills If you choose hunter you get, small story at old vilador, hellraid 2, and camafloge skills This creates the player choosing wisely on which npc they want to help when beating the game it rewards the player with a special endgame content wanting the player want to play again and again Edit: also physics would be massively improved, a full day and night cycle, and last a flashlight drag effect And to where bloody ties can be accessed once you obtain the uv flaslight making everything stretched out making it to where the whole game has enough content Let me know your thoughts ive been working on this and hoping for tecland to put this in the actual game
How would it work in multiplayer? Also limiting the game modes like be the zombie to a specific ending would drastically reduce the player count, and lastly I doubt techland would ever fully make elysium considering that it was never fully made. Also unfortunately with the announcement of dying light the beast techland has decided not to make a second dlc for dying light 2. Besides all that I think it’s a really interesting idea incorporating a lot of things the community really wants
@@ElisTheWorst however has been the zombie and you join them then you can access that game mode Edit: I wanted to try to give dying light a second chance by making it more interesting so people can stop complaining
While we're bitching about agents- the number of currencies in this game is ridiculous. I've got hundreds of hours in since release, and don't care enough to figure out what they're all for. Gulden, cash, crystals, DL points, nightrunner points, Harper tokens, mutation samples....whatever.
My biggest problem is that doing any of the Chapter missions (like where you go and hung the hag or kill the volatile tyrant or even the tower) aren’t worth doing. Besides all the materials and health stuff (and sometimes decent weapons ig) there’s no point to doing them on higher difficulties. I’ve done both Jai’s Mission on Regular and Elite on Nightmare and there’s just no point to it. I didn’t really get all that much that it was worth it.
@@decky9718 Agreed, plus once you get far enough in the game (or once you get guns) the damage scales with you so you’ll never need to go get more. There’s no incentive to do survivor missions for me at all, especially when tower raid is easier, full of ammo, and gives you more of Jai’s token things. Not to mention the fact that survivor missions completely get rid of most loot drops while you’re in them.
