  • In this Product Review I unbox and take a look at the Nitecore EDC25 ultra slim tactical flashlight. While I am not sure how "tactical" this light is, the unique design and shape might make it a very practical and powerful EDC and general purpose light. How does it perform? Does it get hot? What are the features? This video documents my personal thoughts, opinions and experiences with this light. Yours may vary.

I have several Nitecore lights. I like all that I have and use them daily. The P30 is my favorite, it will throw a good spot well over 100 yards that is bright enough that I can use a standard rifle scope and see what I am targeting and remain cool. The P20i that I have is almost as bright and also throws a good spot almost as far but will get very hot like the one you review here. Both are mountable on rifles and have available touch pads, so I would call them tactical lights.

I agree with your assessment and how you approach them.

Good morning, Jason, that is the first time I had heard the term tactical flashlight. It looks the GO, but the price here in Oz is a little steep for me, Cheers

Thanks for the review. I'm seriously considering replacing my EDC 33 with this. You're not going to get away from the heat in any brand with that output.

It's not a "Tactical" flashlight !!! EDC maybe but not Tactical, tactical is simple and practical !!!!
This has built in battery, it's not removable, so on the job you can't wait for your flashlight to charge to do the job, then !!! The LED is non replaceable... And the learning curve on how to use this with the multiple half press/full press/double click and etc....
I have this flashlight paired to a Surefire EDCL2-T and no it's not Tactical, the EDCL2-T is tactical...
