Awesome video again like always. I haven’t watched them all but I’m getting close. Keep them coming. Crab season is coming up and would love to see some of those as well.
Just watched your amazing video Chris. Great job to you and your crew for landing the big one. It's awesome to see your custom North River 25' Hard Top bringing you all kinds of memories and stories to share with friends and family.
Funny 😁 the different reactions to "Fish 🐟 On" between this American 🇺🇸 crew and the Mexican Captain and Mates who I fish with in Baja Mexico 🇲🇽... Los Barriles and Cabo San Lucas.
Great video! way to plug your service. the vid itself had good editing and commentary. no part was too long, or uninteresting dialogue. Congrats on the tuna. I may hit you up for a rockfish combo 👍🏽
Hey Chris, what would you do differently if you had to repurchase your boat again? I'm buying a 24 ft HT Hewescraft. Trying to get some pointers from you.
@DTFShorTie no i do not. Everything goes to the fisherman unless they dont want something. On this day I took the head and bones. cut some meat off for poke. It was my first fresh tuna of the season.
I definitely don’t recommend that that’s how a lot of fish are lost, you wanna slowly ease your throttles off while applying pressure so there is no margin for slack
yeah we have been talking about making a trip together. Damn weather allows for one trip a week so been hard to get the timing down. Thanks for watching
Finally, a real fisherman that confirms a dolphin hookup. I've been waiting for a real fisherman to show an accidental dolphin hookup. You are the best. Thank you.
we catch ours 1000+ft back you catch yours 100-250ft from a long range boat. The average fish size in norcal is about 150-160lb. socal its like 50-60lb. norcal water 10 degrees colder, which has them fighting harder. Now I am not going to shy away that there is a different fighting strategy between the two. norcal shares the fight a lot more and switches off quicker. You can look at it as not manly, I look at it as it gets the prized meat into the boat quicker.
@@ChrisPfish2 You do know that they have been Madmac fishing down south before guys up here ever did. And running them 400+ yards back. After learning the proper technique to reel these fish in it’s not that hard. , its still work but not hard. Guys down south will switch off too for good size fish.
What a monster 😮 differently put some time in for that one....nice job, chris
Nice Job Chris, those head shakes at the end were wild. Great job landing the fish!
Thank you!

Nice fish. Come on up to New England for some giants. That fish is too small to keep by law here.

Great job Chris and huge fish. You out of bodega?
yeah out of bodega on this one
Question chris, do u keep any of the days catch ?
@DTFShorTie no i do not. Everything goes to the fisherman unless they dont want something. On this day I took the head and bones. cut some meat off for poke. It was my first fresh tuna of the season.
🤘
Dolphin will bite on lures?
Did you end up weighing it?
We try and get off the throttle as quick as possible, cut down the fight time prevent making a hole in his lip for the hook to come out
He doesnt really know what hes doing..thats why
I definitely don’t recommend that that’s how a lot of fish are lost, you wanna slowly ease your throttles off while applying pressure so there is no margin for slack
hmm, quickly as possible. seems likely you lose some fish then. Good luck out there.
@@ButcherisFalse have you ever caught a fish?
Ha you told me you didn’t hook dolphins, that they were pretty smart
Chris keeping them lines tight on the new boat. You should bring D&D fishing to do some Tuna slaying in the new boat. Well continued success !
Yea, just don’t let them clean the fish👀
@@RB-pr4er what fish are you referring?
