I am trying to get some information about purchasing these in India from Honda. I contacted Honda Corporate in Torrance, California, hopefully they will get back to me on this. If not, I'll try something else. It is a nice tiller. I can't wait to get mine out in the spring and get to work with it. Right now I'm watching the snow come down up on our mountain in Pennsylvania.
Great video. We dig tenches inside Crawlspaces. Man it’s tough with a shovel. The darn handle looks too high. Wonder if I could shorten the handle and does it have a lot of gas smell? It digs the perfect width.
Can you replace the blades with wheels? It would make a great wagon puller. Does the axle come in a standard size or are they all different. Hopefully wheelbarrow wheels fit.

They usually are about 350 US dollars. I have looked into their availability in India, but haven't come up with a clear answer. Maybe someone from India could comment here if they know for sure.
You show everything except the most important thing, which is how does it do on that raw sod? You had a section right there and could’ve done it but you chose to skip it which makes me suspicious that it doesn’t do well on hard sod. Otherwise nice video thank you
Good point, but the omission was unintentional. I have another video on the channel that shows how it does with the sod - Honda FG110 Mini Tiller Breaking Sod.
I am not sure that I would attempt that big of an area with a mini tiller, at least for the initial tilling. Though, I think you could cultivate and work that area with the Honda.

Mas vou dar primeira ideia sobre oque eu acho sobre essa pequena Maquinha , se for um trabalhador Rural um simples homem da Roça trabalhando na sua lavoura. Não vale a pena. Uma pelo seu gasto de Combustivel pois ultimamente esta muito caro e outra pelo Barulho que pelo que deu pra perceber no video é muito além fazer muita poeira por levantar muita terra ou seja muito desconfortável. Além de um maquina um tanto quanto pesada e de alto custo o seu manuseio durante o dia. Até mesmo se fosse pra trabalhar pra terceiros sendo aparelho seu não compessava' diferente das enxadas tradicionais de 20 a 30 reais o valor, não tem manutenção Periodica dura Anos apenas amolando com uma lima são bem silenciosa e agradável ao trabalhar e além do mais ela é bastante leve. E um bom trabalhador rende muito serviço com ela ou seja pra mim ela é a numero 1 muito falam de calos nas mãos mas só se vc for primário na Capina porque se vc for acostumado suas mãos ja estaram Bem grossas e dificilmente terá Calos. Isso falo de trabalhador proficional do campo ok? Abraços. A Todos
As most Honda stuff it's a fine piece of machinery. BUT since I found "no till" practices... The tractor and rototiller combo never saw work again. Tractor now is used mostly for trailing and pulling functions. Ground engaging activities never again... The best I ever did, save the tractor and most important save the soil, less work and better crop. Sometimes I wonder why almost everybody still kill soils all over the planet! really makes one wonder about it. ;-)

Yes, you can. It is very common in Turkey and we call such devices "patpat"

Can you work backwards with it? So you would not recompact/undo soil motion?
I use mine going backwards, it seems to do better. So light you can just go back and forth

You would think it would be a 2 stroke because of its size, but it is a 4 stroke.

I wouldn't use it for an initial tilling of a hectare, but I think you could use it for cultivating and planting on an already tilled plot.

Man you r operating it in a wrong way.. try it with going backward for better result...
Some of the other small tillers work better backwards, but the Honda works fine this way.
works fine when pulling backwards, also you can control the depth better.
