Battle of Crete is still under 5k views after month while other WW2 channels can reach a million views in less than a month. It's obvious that these videos don't attract many people and this one cost more money than usual. Hey man, keep going! Its discouraging surely, but i really like your work. Its maybe a a coincidence, as Indy Neidel and the others had a video for battle for Crete the past month. I would suggest finding less covered topics (as were greco-italian war and winter war) and cover them. Im fine with the previous graphic style btw.

It doesn't matter how many views these videos get.......the fact is that the people that do watch it truly appreciate the soldiers efforts and your effort to make these videos possible
This is done 1000% better than the official Smithsonian Channel explination video. Thanks for discussing the actual tactics used and displaying a nice map with diagrams. Sure the cgi could be better but it explained everything great! Good job!
Man I love Band of Brothers so much. Best military movie/show I've seen. Winters was a true legend and hero (hell all those guys were). I wish I was 1/1000th of the badass he was.
This guy is very good at these vids. He has an epic voice for it, and am a huge fan of conflict history. Especially the WW2 era, as dad was overseas for almost all 4yrs of our involvement in the conflict and faught together against the Nazis with Audie Murphy as a member of the US Army 3rd Infantry division. He was present when they blew the giant swastika on top of Nuremberg stadium, as well as the raid on Eagle's Nest and those guys were true badasses. Especially the ones that didn't make it back, as they were heroes of the heroes 😪

@@ww2-epicbattles i know you use a lot of time to make this ep but you can divide it maybe 5-10 ep? and i think Vitebsk-Orsha Offensive(The first phase of operation Bagration) might be good battle to cover but anyway you video is pretty good
@@bcompany650 Yes this is how I will definitely do it. Not just with bagration but with other operations as well. 3 to 4 videos will probably cover it. I also want to do Sevastopol very much.
The policy of only one MOH per division was ignorant. Without Winters command and execution, one could argue the Allies don't make it off the beaches without much more casualties. Truly a disservice that should be remedied posthumously.

I applaud the effort. If you want to improve this I suggest the following. Either pronounce the French names correctly or use the standard English pronunciations of them. A small slip is Nixon was the Intelligence officer and not intelligent officer. Maybe you can edit that somehow, but it's not a big deal. Personally I don't care for the graphics and would prefer a clear animated map. Copyright probably precludes you doing this, but running the video from Band of Brothers and noting how they diverged from the sources you seem to have would be interesting. Regardless, I can see this took a lot of time and effort and was very much worth doing.

This style is to be used only in small scale battles. Map animation is better to give the bigger picture.

They were heroes for the j$ws who caused this war. For the rest of the world, their victory was a travesty.
