Two setups from today's video:
1. If high of the day is locked in (volume trapped), look for pump into the high, consolidation and then dump
2. If algos are jamming the price into the low of the day/week and the price is just coiling and not going anywhere, expect a squeeze

Great video, thanks! I missed the oil trade as it looked more consolidated than everything else until the market showed its hand later, but I already got chopped up chasing EU as it had gotten close to the high of the day. After I licked my wounds I evaluated and said to myself "self, the high wasn't broken and it could go both ways - walk away". Next time I'll walk away, just trade another day. I didn't see the oil trade and that's okay - I don't need to trade something that isn't there just because I didn't see something that was there.

I dont understand how anyone can see or explain the market without not once ever telling their audience to keep the key levels in mind. Everyone is trading trendlines and indicators preying upon the desperation of people trying to.better their life. You sir are a saint for giving us free education.
Imagine taking a trade because the tdi is out of balance and the emas are crossing. But youre nowhere near the highs or.lows. you got fugazied and took a 50/50 based on the illusion of "confluence"

Oil was king today. Volume profile would have plainly shown where volume is trapped for those who have a hard time envisioning that concept.
The setup that looked me square in the face was a volatility squeeze/wedge/Wyckoff or whatever... Structure broke in London putting in HOD. Lower push into the high during the gap (with higher low) and one lower high (and higher low) just prior to NY session window. Pin bar and engulfment at 7:58. A break of the final higher low is my trigger provided it breaks with STRONG volume.
Low and behold it breaks and I'm triggered short at 8:00 NY on confirmed strong volume. It never came back. Technical target triggered at 8:24 and done. This setup consistently rips. It just doesn't happen all that often.
This was much needed and was perfect. Thanks

Another great video Stacey. Could you or someone please clarify one thing I’m not certain about? It’s about being inside.
When you say you’re only interested when a daily high or low is broken, do you mean the very highest high/lowest low of the previous day or the last high/ low formed the previous day?
This is the only one of the concepts I’m not 100% sure of. If someone could help I’d be really grateful.

Which timeframe do we use to see frontside broken 15min Or 1min?
oil tends to trade/move outside of the london&NY market open hours, usually 2-3 hours before NY opens.. does that mean you check the chart every hour throughout the day ??

You’ve helped me a lot but basically it comes down to sell high buy low leave the middle alone and it tends to cycle in 3 days but actually it can do anything at any time.

hello sir, i wanted to clarify , if day 1 longs happen on monday(due to breaking friday hod) and tuesday stays inside hod, then wednesday breaks out hod is it day 1 longs or day 2 longs?

Hi Stacey - thanks for another gem. I agree UC is ranging but isn't that a D1 on UC as it broke previous day's high. Wouldn't this set up a D2 long trade? Thanks!
It is currently a trading range. Mon-Tues sets the high and low of the week. We have just traded to the HOW. We have news tonight. I see nothing atm yet.
If we were to get three peaks down I would look for that yes Momo. (FGD - 3 peaks) News could be a FB.

@@StaceyBurkeTrading Watched your earlier videos on FRD/FGD. So, the criteria has to be that the daily candle has to close above the previous day high for it to be a valid FGD. UC candle did take out the previous day high but did not close above it. Is that right?
