I agree, unplugged is always a good idea, especially if the band loves distorted guitars with heavy riffs and heavy lyrics I'd expect you wouldn't be able to perform wavvess songs acoustically the same way they are on album, considering slower tempo on these versions and all the echo efx Nathan loved in his album versions I try my best to sound as good as i can while singing and playing To the dregs (version), but i end up sounding nasal as hell, especially with my asthma and mediocre guitar skills. Still love it.
@numchuckbitch1 it's G#, C#, then open Am7, and E. Then when he's singing "who are you" it goes between C# and E, but it's just those four chords in the song
I am an actual music critic. It is extremely rare in this day and age to find an artist as, if not more talented, unplugged than in the studio. For a kid with severe cognitive disabilities 2:37 his music and performance is even more impressive. I give this C+
Get over his voice not sounding great. Nathan is an amateur who can write fantastic songs. He's no Whitney Houston or whatever he's just a teen who smoked a lot of weed. Music like Wavves isn't supposed to be sang with a singer who's voice is perfect and stuff.
@@nutty232 lol I haven't checked this account in forever. Weird to see a recent reply on an 11-year-old comment. Weird twist bonus fact: In those past 11 years, one of my ex's hooked up with him, so I guess we're eskimo bros now. She said he was a chump in the sack lol.
Wavves needs an unplugged album. Loved the nasal congestion in this vid

i'm kind of addicted to this song. Its nice to see it raw and and acoustic as opposed to overly distorted and lo-fi though
You can really hear that he has a great voice in this video. Wish there were more acoustic videos with them :)
Wowed by never knowing this acoustic recording existed until today so long after it becoming one of my favorite wavves/Nathan recordings til this day
i just fucking love nathan D':
