I use the traverse hoody under my delta in texas for most of the year then late season ill use the traverse with either the kelvin aerolite jacket or vest or both.. i have the duck oven and it seems a bit too warm/bulky when layering in texas. I highly recommend the kelvin aerolite stuff its super packable and the perfect shot of warmth
I love the kelvin aerolite vest and a heavy weight base layer under my delta wading jacket. I tend to have a problem getting hot over getting cold while duck hunting. The vest keeps you warm while sitting still but the lack of sleeves allows you to dump heat quickly with the wading jacket pit zips.
what about a good mid piece to push the Dakota into colder temps? Would something with prima loft be to bulky, with the Dakota being a bit more form fitting.

The video I've been waiting for!
Yeah, the 24.7 hat is back. Kevin Aerolite is also a great option.

What about the Gradient jacket?
