What is that website//addon that you use where you can see a map of the room and you can place markers etc? I knew back in the day a website, but would like to use this more.
Our guild wiped repeatedly because we had adds spawning on opposite sides of the room everytme after the first spawn, we had trouble getting over there and getting all of the adds down because they were on opposite sides of the room. I wonder if we were doing something wrong to make them spawn so far away..
I would love to know what people do at 2nd wave of adds for both groups, because the time ive been there 1 ranged mob has spawned 90-120 degree from the tank add+ 1 caster add. I mean in terms of the beam. Where to point it, have someone figured out a brilliant strategy? I've heard warrior can leap over it, dont know about dk anti magic shell, mage blinks?
We learned recently that it starts happening after the first full energy cast. You just have to have everyone start on that one add and kill it real quick while you cc the little adds from the regular set of casters. Or you can split up your downstairs team a little bit and have a few people take care of the single caster add while everyone else kills the regular set. Seen both options work! - Zax
If the tank is supposed to take the attack to go to the other realm in a way that doesnt split off the group, how is the group supposed to get into the other realm? Or is it about the tank that taunts after the attack?
Group 1 stacks on tank 1. They get hit by the frontal and sent to the shadow realm where they will kill adds. Tank 2 then taunts the boss and gets ready to position the beam on heroic. Then Group 2 will stack on tank 2 for the next frontal. Get sent down, rinse and repeat.
You always go to the left most adds and in Heroic you make sure the beam is very close to the left most adds going counter clockwise. There's an image here: actually-family-931.notion.site/RCP-Tank-Sheet-Nerub-ar-Palace-f7e00faa8a7b42c688cfcfa5d542e4b1
I really need you guys to consider not only describing the abilities, but also to NAME them. I have had to utilize several other platforms, including Mythictrap to figure out which abilities you are describing as they come per fight in order to set my raid guides accordingly for my guild. I have watched so many of your videos, and while mildly informative, the one thing you guys continue to leave out are the complete abilities of each boss encounter. I end up having to watch very closely to cast timers/ positioning/ debuffs to figure out exactly what you guys are trying but failing to explain well enough for a raid leader to relay to their teams. Please be more informative with future videos. This is NOT the first season of videos where you have left out vital information that could mean and had meant the difference between wiping and successfully downing bosses on any difficulty.
The fact that these videos don't go into every little details of the fight is what makes them stand out from the other youtube guides. I believe he shouldn't change a thing. There are plenty of more detailed guides on yt if you want them.
The names often change between beta, alpha, and retail release. You should be able to reference what is discussed in the video with the journal in game as well as their cheat sheets and other webpages.
Huge jumps in quality in these guides over the years. Amazing work, Team! Still our guilds go-to for strats. Thanks!
Love to see additions of healer notes to these guides
Your the best bro…your explanation very clear and there is a lot of work in what you do, it have to be appreciated… thank you
Running every tentacle through the tank is also a favorite or many people.
Amazing guides! So far, it seems these bosses are pretty easy for tanks. Not too many specific mechanics for them.
Bloodbound horror: I banish you to the shadow realm
Reminds me a bit of Gorefiend in the WoD days!

The beam rotates to the left, not to the right.

Why do some adds spawn huuugly away? Are we spreaded too much?

how do you deal with the add that spawns so far away? from the rest?

This boss fight is way to RNG on Heroic to be actually good.. mob spawns are impossible to control, who ever designed this, get a new job.
Seems easy doable aswell

Nah, I'm happy just knowing what to watch out for. Sounds like you are a super user, this video is for general public.
Might need to do your own homework my guy
