Can you apply "Scene +" ir "Scene -" with an external MIDI pedalboard OR with the minijack control pedal?

Great videos! So helpful!! Question: is there a way to automate say the S2 button to advance from one scene chain to the next?

Can you use a foot switch to change scenes in a chain?

In Juno-DS I do it by setting the control pedal function in the keyboard "Settings" menu first. I don't have a Fantom. Let me know if it works @@acheron4444

if the original screen has scenes arranged in a visual manner where you can simply press any one of them to recall it, why do you need to chain the scenes together and then go through this whole process of marking them, etc., to select them when you could have easily done it in the scene page??

That is possible as well. But scene chain is used to chain multiple groups of specific scenes from any one of the banks (A-D) for a quick gig access. Copying the scene and making a slot of 16's is more tiring and takes up more space of empty scenes and you can't switch between them using a foot pedal.I could chain a set of scenes and have somebody else trigger them from a foot switch or a Midi message. It's more convenient and you can still touch the screen if you want to.It's everybody's personal taste but I guess its there for those who want to use it.That's what makes the Fantom customizable and friendly.Markers are for people who just want extra security in their gig, performance to make sure that they accidentally don't choose the wrong scene or didn't miss a song tied to a specific scene. In a way its there just for insurance if I'd call it.

Hi Ed, since I'm using backing tracks (WAV/MP3 imported to the great sampler) I just wonder if there would be a possibility to include those in scene setup and to trigger them other than through the PADs/Hold button in the future. Any thoughts on this from your end? Thanks for your reply in advance.
